Celebrating mid-20s Part II

Here comes my pretty bday pressie and a complimentary staycation at Fullerton Bay Hotel for a night from larling's parents. I'm very thankful that I've such a wonderful bday celebration this year :))

The night before the stay, dinner was at Paradise Dynasty, Ion Orchard

Finally get to try their famous colourful Xiao Long Bao.

I like their original and Sze Chuan spicy.

Their baos are very soupy and it's a good alternative to Ding Tai Fung if you're ready to brace the long queue

At first we thought it's Fullerton Hotel, but actually ours is Fullerton Bay Hotel. It's a new addition at the marinabay front along Collyer Quay.

It belongs to the same family as Fullerton Hotel, but the Fullerton exudes a vintage feel while the Bay gives a modern look.

Only king beds can make me snore and sleep till daybreak

Their room slippers are so comfy that I brought them home.

They even have a female size and male size

We drank two cups before going out for dinner and movie.

When we were back, they topped up the capsules, filled ice bucket with ice and made the bed for us!

Such concepts are getting common, but still cool max

Normally I don't use a hotel's bathtub as too much water will be wasted and you won't know how clean is the tub,

BUT,
upon seeing that bathsalt is provided and the tv is mounted atop the bathtub, it's too tempting to say no!!

Went over to Suntec for steamboat buffet at Joaquim.

On a rainy brr day, we were craving for steamboat.

Wanted to try Chong Qing but it was far too exp (SGD36++) while Joaquim was only $26nett

They didn't serve pork for a couple of wks due to Hari Raya festive, so meat selection that day was quite limited - only chicken and beef
