busy busy working life

For the past few wks (and upcoming many weeks as well), i've been struggling and working hard.. now i know the xiongness of this job. Deadlines are so damn freaking tight, we cant afford to fall sick, and i've no time to even shit. During one of my job interims, i worked till average 2am daily. i remembered dropping a few tears infront of larling due to headaches and fatique. i dont think this is the kind of job that i'll stay long. in just mere 3 wks, i felt that i've aged by 3yrs... panda eyes, dry skin, poor hair condition. BIG sighs. even my seniors who have yet to find another job have tendered. totally unbearable job. However there's one impt thing i've learnt: complain less, ur life will be less miserable. i'm stil trying..

birthday celebration part 2

it's been a long time since i last met my lovely ex hall neighbour.. eeshi!! she's one of the few whom i can enjoyably bitch with. thks for the jap dinner treat! even though the jap buffet wasnt up to our expectations, i still had a wonderful bitching session. anyway i'm really happy that you've found your happiness once again ;)





wed: met up with my jc gals after work to celebrate the oct and nov babies.. namely yvonne, me and adeline respectively. roars and loud laughter was throughout our conversations, it was a great catching up session with juicy updates on their lives. i'll be looking forward to our next gathering.. perhaps with good news

DTT Annual D&D 2008

DTT annual DnD was held at Ritz Carlton, same location as last yr i heard. the food wasnt superb and was quite disappointing. somehow i feel that place was lacking class and poshness. a definite no-no for wedding dinner venue.

Night of Champions was the theme cos our table tennis team clinched their CPA Games champion title for the tenth yr. and so all of us came in sports attire. many different types of sports wear were spotted, with the more common ones as tennis, baseball, basketball, taekwando, judo. i think this is the only DnD theme that allows us to save money on buying those posh outfits or gowns. Haha

Early Bday Celebration for Me

many times my bday have been forgotten and neglected, all thks to exams which always fall during that period. friends would be busy mugging and say they'll make up to me, but in the end, it just got written off conveniently. subsequently, my anticipation for bday surprises died off and i no longer look forward to bdays. nevertheless, i'm thankful to have larling, who'll help to celebrate my bday without fail. (:

and surprisingly, my DT colleagues threw me a surprise mini bday celebration in office.. i thought none of them know abt my bday cos some of them mentioned they'll be taking leave on mon, which is my actual bdate. i'm really touched that they actually brought forward the celebration since some of them wont be in office on mon.
