Rhiannon's first bus ride. I wish it came out better.

They went on a field trip to the college for the art show.
Piper watching for Mike to come home. This is her favorite place to sit.

Rhiannon's class also went on a filed trip to the post office.
And the park.

Shawn's graduation. Chewing on his cap watching his class.

Getting the cut

After the cut. This is the shortest Rhiannon's has been. Shawn wanted a Mohawk

I got mine cut too. The shortest mine has ever been.
Funny faces.

Well the school year is wrapped up. Rhiannon had her last day of kindergarten yesterday and now is officially a first grader. Shawn has his last day today and then they are on summer vacation. He was pretty excited because he got to wear his jammies to school today and take his swim suit so they can get wet. All three of us, Rhiannon, Shawn and I got our hair cut yesterday. I was falling into my typical ponytail hair everyday. So I got it cut and short. Rhiannon wanted hers cut too so grandma cut hers and Shawn's while I was getting mine cut. Shawn wanted a mohawk. Both of their hair cuts came out really cute.
They are both ready for summer and to be able to spend time with dad and play in the sun. If it will ever finally be here for good. We have had a very rainy and cloudy month. I feel like we were robbed of a month of nice weather. I really hope we get all of September and into October.
I can't wait to be done with finals next week and be out of school for a little while too. And to get to spend a little bit of extra time with Mike.
The pregnancy is going well. I was really sick last week and the kids got sick too so I was pretty exhausted and unmotivated. I'm really trying to be motivated to get stuff done around the house to make room for another little one. Hopefully once school is done I will get a little more motivation.
We will see.

Dad and Shawn on the monkey bars.
This is how you skip a rock.

So I was really bummed when I went to look back at my photos and noticed that there were photos missing. I lost some really good ones of Shawn and Rhiannon throwing rocks. Pictures of Mike and I together at the river, we do not have hardly any pictures of us together. But Rhiannon loves to take photos and took those shots. I lost some really cute ones of the kids sitting together. I also lost the photos I took yesterday. They were there when I viewed them from the camera but not when they transferred. When the transfer was complete and it looked like all the photos where there I deleted the camera. I didn't notice the pictures missing until I started looking at the pictures on the computer. Oh well, they are just pictures. We have a lot and I can take more.

The photos above are from when we took the kids to Tahoe Paradise Park on Memorial Day. That park always brings back memories for me. I love it there. We used to walk there all the time when I was a kid. They have the pond and the river and it is just beautiful I also like the shade from the trees over the play area. The kids had so much fun. Shawn really liked running around and throwing rocks into the river. Mike tried to teach them to skip. He is good at it. Shawn just wanted to find the biggest rocks that made the biggest splash. He also was trying to throw his rocks across the river. Rhiannon enjoyed throwing rocks too but really loves, loves, LOVES the monkey bars. She got a good sized blister that day from playing on the rings and bars. She tries to pretend everything is monkey bars. Like the wooden slats under her bed above Shawn's on their bunk beds.
It was such a beautiful day that day.
The kids are almost out of school. Just a few more weeks. Mike is not going to work at the camp anymore. He is going to stay home and spend the days with the kids. They are all very excited about that.
