Hey Everyone

We have been real busy lately. Rhiannon is back at school and loving it. She is doing so good. She is in her second year at preschool. She loves her teacher and her new teacher assistant speaks Spanish so she comes home trying to speak Spanish, it is pretty funny. Shawn can't wait to go he has fun trying to be a big kid a sitting with all the big kids when Mike picks her up. The teacher is a family friend and loves Shawn so she is really good with him to and lets him come in and sit at the lunch table and hang out. He will be there next year. The kids are doing great. They are getting big and playing and running all over the house and keeping Mike and me busy. They like to be together all the time and drive each other crazy so sometimes that isn't good because then they like to fight and then that drives Mike and me crazy. Shawn just loves his sister and gets excited when she comes home from school.

Mike just finally got the call that he got the job working for the El Dorado County Juvenile Hall, so we are very excited. I had to quit my job Monday because the scheduling will just not work out. Mike's shifts are during the day. So I will be at home with the kids during the days now and picking up Mike's paper route shift. I will most likely have to look for a part time job in the early mornings or a night job depending on exactly what Mike's shift ends up being. I'm looking forward to being at home with the kids for awhile though. The benefits will be great to. Health, dental and vision. We need that. Especially with all my help issues.
So we finally figured out all my things that have been going on although a new issue just popped up so I go to the doctors Friday and we'll see what this will be all about. But my stomach pains have been diagnosed as acid reflux, a hiatal hernia and nutcracker esophagus. We are currently working on ways to resolve my issues with medications and things. I go in next week to my headache doctor specialist and we'll see how things are going there.

Here is the fire place. You can see where the floor used to be.
Here mom is in the dining room. Where she kept all her china and music boxes. She found some china.
Here she found a warped glass.

Here is the snow blower. The tires are melted off and the aluminum engine is a puddle under it.

This is what is left of the kitchen. We where able to salvage two glass bowls.

Moms brand new washer and dryer.

Well we were able to salvage a few things. Grandpa's birdhouse. Some china some of the plating is burned off. A few glass bowls. Dad found some ceramics that James and I made. Mom found a Return with Honor ring. Moms fire pit made it. Some of moms garden decorations. We are going to go back and see if we can find anything else. But mostly everything looks pretty bad. The neighborhood looks bad and sad. It is so destroyed. So many houses are gone. Along Lake Tahoe Boulevard looking up towards Mule Deer it is so bare.

Mom and dad are doing well and handling things pretty well so far. We appreciate all the love and support and thank you all for your prayers.

Hi Everyone,We are doing good. Rhiannon and Shane are great. They are really enjoying the warm weather amd liking getting outside more. We have been playing in the backyard alot and getting outside. We went to the park and Shawn went for the first time. He had no fear. He just started climbing and dove head first down the slides. They are both so full of energy. Rhiannon is such the little grown up. She has attitude adn spunk. The things that come out of her mouth. She still loves to cuddle and suck her thumb. The deal is she is supposed to quit sucking her thuimb when she turns four. She has 27 days. We'll see how that goes. We are taking her to 6 flags Discover Kingdom for her birthday instead of a birthday party. Shawn loves hanging out with dad and playing ball and running around. He's quite a character. He has a funny sense of humor and likes to tease. He makes funny faces. He almost all of his teeth in. He is really starting to talk alot. He doing alot of the sign language and talking with it.Well I better run. Till next time.
