Super Heroes In Training

On Thursday our baby turned 4 years old. We can't believe how old he is getting. He wanted to have a superhero party and his Mom set up the best birthday party ever.

They started the party by reading some books about superheroes and then Batman showed up to put the kids through superhero training lessons which culminated in flying lessons from the couch to the Love Sac.

Each guest had their own cape and the kids had a lot of fun.

After Superhero lessons we had some spiderman cake and ice cream.

It was a great party and Christopher had so much fun playing with his friends. The only thing missing for Chris was his cousins.

Tyler didn't mind letting his big brother have the spotlight just as long as he got a big piece for cake.

World's #1 Mom and Grandma

There are only two words that can describe Connie. THE BEST. She is the world's best mom and best grandma. She does and has done so much for us and for everybody that knows her. There aren't too many grandmas that will play baseball with their grandsons, take their daughter shopping, and sew their son-in-law's pants all in one day. But she does. Everybody that knows Connie falls in love with her infectious smile and her awesome laugh. She is a great listener and an amazing friend.

We love you Connie!!!!!

CAMPING BLISS

Well school is back in full swing so I am trying for a little nostalgia by blogging again about the fun summer we had in Utah. One of the funnest parts of our trip was a camping/fishing trip we took up to Trial Lake in the Uinta Mountains.

Christopher caught his first fish and we had a lot of fun. We went with my Dad and Christopher's cousin Charley. Christopher and Charley managed to get very dirty and they had a lot of fun making a fort and throwing rocks into the water. We found a great campsite and the edge of the lake and I cooked up some good grub for us. We had all the staples-Hot dogs, sausage, beef jerky, and easy cheese. It was living the good life.

Summer Fun

We have had a great time in Utah these last couple of weeks. We had a great trip up to Bear Lake and have enjoyed boating, golfing, camping, and spending time with family. Christopher has loved playing with his cousins and Tyler is crawling all over causing major trouble. He could easily walk if he wanted to but he likes to ride along is his mother's arms. Here are a few pictures of the boys I hope you enjoy.

Baseball Heaven

This last week we had a wonderful visit from Larry and Connie. We did a lot of fun things with them and the boys loved having their Grandparents around to love them and spoil them. The highlight of the trip was the day at the baseball game.

Jackie loved having someone else to hold Tyler so her arms could get a rest.

Christopher loved the game and sat through 81/2 innings before deciding it was time to leave. It's hard for adults to sit through that much baseball. Christopher came away from the game in love with Yadier Molina the catcher for the cardinals. It is really cute to hear him say his name.

Our seats at the game were awesome. We had a great view of the game and the city as you can see.

This is a picture of my school and hospital from the back of the stadium.
