My Crafty Heart DT Card - Rosarna

Hello my lovelies, how are you all? I'm running mega late & behind as usual I'm afraid, this craft room is taking up so much time & we've had delays :( However we are on the home stretch now & I move in there in the next day or 2 wooooo hoooooo lol.

Anyway onto my card which is for My Crafty Heart & I've also used a digi image from Sweet Pea Stamps............I do love my digi's ;0)

I've used my absolute favourite pad at the mo again lol.....Prima 'Lyric' & I've cut a strip off another sheet & fussy cut around the sentiment.

Flowers are all from WOC. Dies used are Spellbinders 'Floral Oval' which I also covered with Shabby Pink Frantage. I also used MB 'Catalina' die underneath the flowers.

I've added a gorgeous resin MF 'Butterfly' which also got the Frantage treatment ;0) I've also added a pretty Bo Bunny 'Trinket'.

I've also added a doily from my stash & some 'Cheese Cloth'.

This image is called 'Rosarna' by Karen Middleton & was a joy to colour. She was of course coloured with copics. Colours used are below.........

I cant remember what greens I used sorry, although I do know I used G99 & G94.

Inside is decorated as always. I also added a black Prima 'Say It In Crystals, Corner' to the top right corner.

Pics of craft room so far............

Hello everyone how are you all? My goodness it has been soooooooo windy here today, I had to pop over to my step-mums to see to her little yorkies at dinner time & I struggled to open my van door the wind was that strong lol. Think I needs some bigger muskles lol.

I have some piccies for you of my hobbit (craft room) so far, there have been quite a few delays but there is light at the end of the tunnel lol.

Ok so this first one I took last Thursday night 11th April. All the dry walling had been installed & the first coat of paint on the ceiling. We replaced all the walls, the ceiling & the floor, here is just the base of the floor with no covering on yet.

 This next one is Friday 12th April late afternoon & hubby had painted the ceiling & fitted all the lights into place. I used to have 2 long strip lights but they were too bright & felt harsh so hubster fitted spot lights into the ceiling.

No work got done saturday or sunday as weekends are family time & we all spend it together chilling, chatting etc. Jake's girlfriend also came over on sunday & we all went Ben & Megans for tea........a fab day!!

This one I took today 16th April. Yesterday hubster laid new laminate flooring, its a bit lighter than my old laminate flooring so will reflect a bit more light. We also brough an old kitchen off someone on ebay & although its covered in plaster in parts & so filthy............its disgusting!! However hubster fitted the top ones today & laid the floor ones down ready for me to clean & paint tomorrow before the work tops go on.

This one I took tongiht so you could see the lights at night, I absolutely love them & they let off quite a bit of warmth. The bookcases at the back I already had & originally got them from Ikea, they are just Billy Bookcases.

This below is my absolute bargain, I LOVE it!! My eldest son Ben saw this on facebook, up here we have Ashington For Sale, a friend of ours set it up for people wanting to sell things they no longer need etc. Anway Ben was at mine last week & he saw this & showed it to me. I loved it & when he told me the price I loved it even more. So showed it to hubster & he told me to get it....woooo hoooooo. However as he was going out in the van it would have to wait til the following day...........not a big deal, right. Well the lovely people were going near our way so offered to deliver it..........OMG..........arn't they fab!!

Its a 'Ducal' solid pine dresser & it cost me £30, but I also gave them some extra to cover their fuel for being so kind...........can you believe it £30!!!!!! I have the best son ;0) He knows a bargain when he sees one.

Today I finally decided what colour I wanted it as I dont want to keep it this colour. So I have brought some Annie Sloan chalk paint & wax today, should be here tomorrow or Thursday when it will get the Vicky treatment lol.

If you look you can also see my wallpaper I'm having in here on top of the dresser ;0)

Ok so my next photo's should hopefully be all done & looking fabulous, I'm getting really excited now lol. My desk & drawers etc have to go in & they will be going on the other side, hubster has fitted an extra double socket so my sewing machine can go there as well. 3 double sockets should hopefully now be enough..........I hope so anyway lol, you dont realise to begin with just how many electrical things we use when crafting.

Well my next pics of my hobbit will look totally different, I may do a video to show it properly as well as someone has suggested it to me...........we will see lol.

New Rubber Stamp Release....................

Hello my lovelies how are you? I'm running soooooooooo late today I had an appointment at the hospital in Newcastle & tbh totally forgot to schedule my post before I went & only just remembered eeek!!!!

Anyway I have a fabbylicious new release stamp to show you today. Teresa has some gorgeous new rubber stamps due for release very soon by the fabulous Janna Prosvirina, exclusive to Crafts & Me Store, let me tell you they are ALL totally yummy ;0) 

I have to say my colouring mojo really wants to be in her new craft room so she is struggling a bit at the mo, so the dress I'm not completely happy with. The card however just fell together, I never plan my cards out or lay things out..........I just literally grab things & think things as I go lol.

I've added a Spellbinder D-Lite corner & covered it with white Stampendous Frantage. I turned the corner around though to give it a different look which I really like tbh ;0)

I made 2 scrolls with some scraps of Prima paper & tied some jute string around them. I also filled a tiny bottle with German Glass Glitter & tied bakers twine around with a 'Heart' charm attached to it.

This stamp is called 'Tale Of A Rose' & I coloured her with copics.

I cant remember tbh what I used on the rose. I added dabs of pink Frantage on the spellbinder frame & a couple of Scalloped Pearls.

The lace I found in my stash, I've been resorting things into new storage ready & found a load of lace I forgot I had lol, ya gotta love it when that happens ;0) The gorgeous papers are from my new favourite Prima pad 'Lyric' I have to get another 1 or maybe 2 of these ;0), I've inked & distressed the edges to add to the shabby chic look. The sentiment 'Friend' is also from the pad.

Inside is not decorated as this is a sample for the show.

I have made a gift bag, I did struggle tbh cus hubster wanted to show me how the craft room was going. Anyway my mojo decided it would rather stay in there...........it left me.....yep up & left me ;0(

 Papers are Maja Design & Fabscraps & I've distressed all the edges & inked them.

The tulle, lace & gingham ribbon are all from my stash. The tag I recycled from a pair of jeans I had for Mothers Day & I've stamped 2 sentiments on it from a stamp set I got free from my magazine ;0)

Doily  is from Ebay & gift bag that I decorated is from my stash.

This pretty lady is 'Cerridwen' & she is a digi from Krista's shop & one of my faves ;0)

My Exciting News..............

Hello my lovelies, how are you all today? I'm not going to moan about the weather cus a dear blogging friend woke to 2 inches of snow yesterday.........so we shouldn't moan about it being miserable. Snow in spring, who would have thought.

Anyway I've come on to share my fabulous, or should I say our, my family's fabulous news. Ok when Megan & Ben told us they were expecting another baby I had a dream about it that night, the following day I started crocheting a blanket but in a certain colour cus thats what I had dreamt the sex of the child would be. I got half way though & Megan started having problems so Ileft it alone incase I was jinxing it lol. First I'm gonna show what I brought for my grandchild, they arrived yesterday.....

I ordered some little Converse socks, are these just the cutest or what.

Ok so here's the blanket I started crocheting, yes I know in blue, its cus my dream told me he was a boy. Megan went for her 20 week scan on Monday & guess what....ITS A BOY!!! Woooo hoooo we are so excited.

He is going to be named after Bens grandad John (my dad) & his uncle Robert (my brother) who both have passed away. They were going to call him Robert John & RJ for short, I suggested why not try make a name with RJ.............so his name will be 'ARJAY'......I sooooooooo love it, its unusual which I love & he will be named after 2 of the greatest men in our family............I'm soooooooo proud.

So I can finish my blanket for him now ;0)

Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card - Lace & Pearls

Hello all you lovely people out there, well Mr Sunshine didn't put his hat on yesterday & today......well I think he's thrown it away :( Where is spring, they keep saying its round the corner but when I go......it aint there!!!

Anyhoo enough of my babble its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me this week & I'm running late. I scheduled my winner & top 3 post last night but forgot to do this one :0(

So this weeks challenge is easy peasy..............

I've used one of the brand new digi images this week, isn't she lush.

I've used 2 different papers on this, both Prima, bottom one is 'Lifetime' & the top one is 'Divine', the colours match beautifully.

The turquoise flower is Prima & I've added stickles to it. I also added a Prima Papillon. Doily is from Ebay.

This beauty is called 'Corinne' & of course is by Hannah Lynn. I coloured her with Copics & I've added the colours I used below.

Good morning from here by the sea, I think the sun is still trying to get his hat on today so fingers crossed he manages & we have sunny day ;0)

Ok I have my card today for Copic Marker Europe & I've used a digi image from Sweet Pea stamps, yeah they do digi's isn;t that fab..............yeah I know it took me while lol.

However I haven't gone with my usual Sweet Pea fantasy type image, today I've gone with some sweet cuteness..........she was a darling to colour ;0)

See how cute is she, I lurve her dress & all those pleats.....I really did enjoy colouring her in.

I've added Stickles to her balloons, hearts & bows & hopefully you can see them in this pic.

Also I made a boo boo, when I was colouring her I forgot to colour the feet doh!!! However by the time I had realised I had just sprayed Crafters Companion 'Spray 'n' Shine' all over it so couldnt go back in to colour it.........so my little girl has socks on lol ;0)

I've added a few layers to this with Pion paper & a few doilies, on this side you can see I doubled the doilies up. I also added a metal corner which I painted with white gesso.

The gorgeous lace is Melissa Frances.

This pretty little girl is called 'Abbie' & she is by Conie Fong. She was of course coloured with copics.

I have used gorgeous papers from one of the new Prima pads, OMG this one is my fave & I have to get more!!! As you can see I've also used one of the gorgeous new MF Hangers Teresa has recently got in, lurve these!!

I've used a few dies on this lol, list will be at the bottom. I've also used 2 charms from my stash, the sewing machine I think was from Ebay ages ago. Ive used a 'Love Hanger' with MB 'Dress' die & I've added 'Tulle Trim' to act like a dress ;0)

I've used MB 'Thread Spool' die & wrapped Bakers Twine around them. I made a tag from fabric in my stash, which is also where the buttons, ribbon & lace is from. Stickers to make 'Create' which I've had for soooooooooooo long!!!

Ok so now for an explanation as to why we are so busy at the mo. Well as you know I gave up my hobbit in the garden to breed cats, unfortunately however that cant happen cus of health reason........which I wont get into at the mo, as tests are still on-going. Anyway I've been crafting in the living area's in our home.

That is a HUGE no no, I hate the mess, seriously I spend more time cleaning & tidying then I do crafting, I miss having a room of my own where I can shut the door & no-one has to see the mess.

Hubby & no other member of the family mind..........its just me, it gets on my nerves, so much so I nearly gave up crafting..............

However hubster was not pleased with that one so he is re-doing the 'Hobbit' for me to go back into, yayyyyy, a craft room of my own again lol. When he started ripping everything out the plan wasn't to do the floor, however the cowl had been leaking in on the wood burner & soaked all the floor. So the floor came up yesterday & he has to re-do that then re-lay flooring. This is what it looks like at present, well what half the room looks like lol. This is where the hanger is made for, my new craft room ;0)

I will be selling my big cupboard once I'm back in there but I'm keeping the new desk & drawers. The worst thing was I only ever emptied half of my craft room..........so everything is now dumped in the conservatory, there is mess everywhere lol. Also I decide while hubster is doing that outside I should start decorating inside..........not the cleverest of idea's I've had lol.

A Quick Sorry ..........

Hi my lovelies how are you all? I'm just quickly popping on here to give out a bit of a warning.....our email accounts were hacked yesterday & lots of emails were sent to various people & companies. Hubster has been on & sorted it this morning & hopefully its secure again............fingers crossed.

However I have sent NO emails.........been too busy tbh lol, so if you do get an email from me please just delete it as who knows what it will be. When I email people I always put something in the subject box thing lol.........usually related to what I'm emailing about etc. I have sent no emails these last couple of days though so anything before today just delete. I'm so sorry to everyone who got these emails but there were DEF not from me sweeties.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know my lovelies, I'm off to get back to my decorating now lol.

I do have a surprise in the next day or 2 though ;0) keep your eyes peeled.

Crafts & Me Challenges - Pretty In Pink

Hello everyone how are you all? Are we sick of this awful weather yet.............we are supposed to be seeing pretty daffodils & the fluffy easter bunny...........not frosty the snowman!! Although us by the sea have not really had the snow a lot of my friends inland & down south have had lots!!!! :0(

Ok onto the new challenge over at Crafts & Me & this week I stepped in to do the challenge, ok me & my hubster stepped in to do the challenge lol...........yes my hubby picked the theme, which is.....

PRETTY IN PINK

...........one a lot of you girlies will lurve ;0)

Ok I'm up to my eyes in mess here so I've resorted to my box of coloured images I did a while ago for this one..............

I have used a Sweet Pea stamp, these have been soooooooooo neglected lately :0( May have gone OTT with pink...............maybe's a tad lol.

I have used MF papers & some gorgeous MF 'Organza Pouf' ribbon, sooooooooooo pretty this stuff is ;0)

Cut 2 butterflies with MB die & inked the edges & added pearls to the centre.

The paper across the middle I used Spellbinder Edgeabilities along the top to create a fancy edge.

So this is 'Come Softly' by Ching Chou Kuik & as always she has been coloured with copics, I even wrote down the colours & clipped it to the image........yay me lol.
