Josie’s birthday (if born any later, she would have been a turkey!)
A fireman came to the party
Uncle Blake and Benjamin
Our fun plate side decorations for T-day dinner (turkeys and pilgram hats)
Josie and Austin eating the broken pieces
Papa decided he would not be left out of the fun. He made a turkey/scarecrow/pilgrim (ok, no one was really sure what it was!)
All the boys and Liz went shooting (Kathleen and I decided we are fair weather shooters—it was tooooo cold to go!)
James took some turns at pulling the pigeon thrower (He liked it so much, he would often launch them before anyone was ready. Papa had to start keeping one hand on the string while loading it. Then he would say go and James would put the string over his shoulder and start marching away from it til it finally would launch)
Austin and James
Me and Caden (I think I’m trying to shake the silly out of him—it didn’t work!)
Liz with Josie, Austin and Kaitlyn (Liz took all the above pics and a bunch more. She saved the day on documenting the fun!)
We went to the BSU vs Nevada game. It was raining at the beginning but stopped after a while. It didn’t get too cold. Austin was a trooper. It was his first football game---it was TBA when we bought the tickets, then found out kick off was at 8pm (thanks ESPN) so we were up until 12! Austin didn’t even complain. He did great. Although in the third quarter he said “For the next game, lets watch it on TV” :)
We had a great weekend with the Baker clan! I love spending holidays with family. I hope my kids always cherish the time we all get to spend together!
