library ducks

 The weather was just too beautiful to pass up, so we stopped at the library after school on Friday.  Natalie was tickled to go to the library in her pajamas!  We brought bread in hopes that the ducks would be out.  After finding 10 books, we visited the ducks.  Jonathan was so excited until the ducks headed his way.  He preferred watching and quacking at them from afar.  Natalie had the bag of bread and went to town.  The ducks were more than happy to take the bread off her hands.

Natalie celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week and enjoyed 4 non-uniform days and some fun outfits!

Monday was school colors day (blue, yellow and white).  Unfortunately I didn't get a picture before we raced out the door, but Natalie looked adorable in her blue leggings, white shirt, denim jacket and yellow flower in her hair.

Tuesday was team spirit day.  It was a tough choice, but we decided to represent the U.  Natalie chose the #6 jersey, because, hey, she's 6!  Her teacher, also a Miami fan, was happy to have another fan.

Wednesday is chapel day, so uniforms were still required.  It was also crazy hat day.  This is always Natalie's go-to craziest hat. 

Thursday was decades day.  It was a no-brainer to choose the 80's!  Natalie loves The Goldberg's on TV.  She wanted to dress like Erica, from the 80's.  

 

Natalie's been looking forward to pajama day since last Friday when she found out about it.  She got ready for school in about 4 seconds! 

To end spirit week, there is an open house tomorrow morning.  At carpool this week, there was some serious decorating going on and we've been happy to promote the school. 

In the midst of all of the fun this week, Natalie lost 2 teeth.  2!!!!  The Tooth Fairy has been a busy girl at our house.

Donuts with Dad

Natalie was so excited to invite Steven to school for donuts.  She introduced him to all of her friends.  Not surprisingly, she has made lots of friends!  Its been a joy watching her love of school blossom.
