Bubble Run

I signed the family up for a 5k called the bubble run. It has a bunch of stations along the route that spew out tons of colored bubbles. I thought it sounded fun. Steve thought it sounded like a total nightmare, but he's a good sport and went along with it. We took a double stroller and a single stroller and I wore Rachel in my baby wrap. We got there and it was a total madhouse. I was starting to doubt myself as we were waiting in line to get started. Once we finally got started it was so much fun! The kids had a great time and did surprisingly well. The bubbles were really exciting and very colorful! Steve admitted that it was actually super fun and way better than he expected it to be. I love doing activities together as a family. Especially ones that are outside and make exercise fun!

 

Kitchen Helpers

Cooking with these two helpers takes twice as long and is twice as messy but its also twice the fun! They love hiding my recipe and giggle their buns off while they watch me go crazy looking for it.

 

Disney on Ice

Steve surprised Kate and I and got us tickets to Disney on Ice. He's so sweet! Kate picked out matching outfits for us and bright pink lipstick and called me twin sister all night. We went and had a magical time. I love getting one on one time with Kate. She is such a fun cool girl. After our date when I was tucking her into bed she said, "mommy I love you bigger than my hands can go." I love you too Kate. So very much.

 

Rach is 4 months!

I can't believe she's 4 months old already! I am head over heels madly in love with her. She is the sweetest cutest little thing. She is so happy and always smiling. Our life has been a bit crazy and stressful lately and you would think having a newborn would make our crazy life crazier. Rachel has had quite the opposite effect on me. She requires me to stop and sit still and when I look at her perfect little face I feel so calm and happy.

 

Game Ball

Luke won the game ball today and exclaimed "I didn't even believe it!" They all got snow cones but Luke was too focused on the ball to eat anything. He caught a couple great ones and hit really well. Luke definitely has the heart of a champion.

Vaccines

These 2 got 3 shots each today. They are tough lil monkies and barely cried.

Jason

Jason- A ball of energy

Jason has endless energy. When the other kids are asleep at night he is often playing in bed or staring into space thinking of things to do. This video is a good example of him on a daily basis.

Ice Cream Truck

The ice cream truck drives around my neighborhood every day. The kids hear the music and beg for ice cream. I usually say no but today I said YES!

 

Flowers and Bugs

Tis the season to plant Flowers so we went to the nursery and loaded up. Colorful flowers make me so happy and our backyard is looking bright and beautiful! Steve gave the kids and I a little gardening 101 lesson. He also bought a bucket of worms and a case of ladybugs because they're good for the garden and fun for the kids.
