Spring Break

For Spring Break we decided to go explore Utah. We found a hotel that had a private movie theater you could reserve, free fountain sodas and an indoor heated swim park. I convinced my best friend to drive down from Idaho and meet us there. Friends, swimming, sleepovers, lots of sugar and a new adventure everyday are definitely the makings of a great vacation. It was so much fun and the kids were in heaven!

We went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. It was awesome. Highly recommend it!

Hanging out. Eating chips at 9:30 at night. Because there are no rules on vacation!

Waiting for the train. Best/worst day ever. We got lost. Walked a mile. Kids almost got killed several times. Destroyed the reverence in the visitors center. Found a fun Book of Mormon exhibit. Ate pizza!. Missed our train. Eventually rode the train back to the hotel. Nobody died. We all cried a little and laughed a lot! It was a great day.

We went to Tracey Aviary. They have a book and bird activity where they read a book about a bird and then bring that bird out for the kids to meet. We got to meet this cute little falcon. As it was flying around the room it stopped and landed right on top of Wesley's head. It was so funny.

The hotel pool.

Rachel was a bit fussy so I wore her most of the time.

Thanksgiving point.

It was a fun and exhausting trip. So glad we went. So glad our friends met us. So glad we're home

Tee Ball

It's our first year doing T-ball.  Luke is loving it!.  He's on the Red Sox and he is the cutest little player. He is #1 (the only x-small jersey and he's still swimming it).

Luke is the goofball in the center of the bottom row. At his first game he hit the ball and took off running the bases. He ran so fast he passed up his teammate who was on first base and made it all the way to home plate! It was so funny people were laughing and cheering him on!
He is determined to be good and is always begging Steve to play catch with him.

Wesley wishes he was a few years older so he could get in on the action.

Thumb Sucker

Little Rachel is a thumb sucker. I think it's totally crazy, I've never had one before. I love that she can soothe herself and I think it's beyond cute. I'm sure one day it will be a source of much frustration but for now I'm loving it.

3 Months Old Already

This sweet little peanut is 3 months old already.  Time is evil, it moves way too fast. In just 3 short months Rachel has accomplished a lot. At first she just slept.
But now she can do all sorts of things.
Chillin in the Bumbo, hanging out with Kate.
She smiles all the time!
She already knows karate, the boys have taught her well.

She somehow manages to get cuter ever day. She has some seriously wild hair and I love it!

I wear her in my baby wrap every day.  She loves it.
She has stolen our hearts and we are all madly in love with the little ball of pure perfection that she is! It's been a great three months.
