[My side of the story]

Why must you make me choose? I don't want to choose! So if I'm with them, then I can't be with you. What else do you mean by, if they don't go, then you would definately go. But now that they are going, then you might or might not go. If you didn't want to go in the first place, then why say yes? So if they weren't going then you would come; why? So you would go with me only out of pity? Thanks. I don't need your pity. Nor do I want it.

posting for the sake of posting

since summer is coming to an end, i thought i should at least post something.

So this is my post:

A funny joke (at least i thought it was funny) that i heard recently...
I'm lactose intolerant, I eat cereal with a fork.

I laughed so hard the first time i read that I almost cried. Why? I don't know.

Some of my other favourites:
I saw a fish all my itself, i said, "Dude, you should stay in school"

If you can't sleep, count sheep. Don't count endangered animals because you will run out.

I have a cheese-shredder, which is its positive name. They don't call it by its negative name, cause no one would buy it: sponge-ruiner. Because I wanted to clean it, and now I have little bits of sponge... that would melt easily over tortilla chips. --> This is soooooo true!

Well other than that, nothing else interesting has been really happening to me. I finished summer school. YEY! and I've been working full time for the City of Toronto. It's great, I love it! I get paid (quite well too) for doing practically nothing. Plus I've made friends. Can you believe that?

I done work Sept 1. I'm thinking about doing something, but not sure what. Maybe visit Montreal and ANNA!!!! or maybe i should go to Vancouver to visit Cindy? Actually I wouldn't mind going to NYC again either. or even just shopping in the states would be fun.

Anyone want to go anywhere?

It has been brought to my attention that the stuff that I post in my blog is rather sad or depressing. So in this post I will try to post something more....fun....

FOOD!
FOOD IS ALWAYS FUN!
So Winterlicious is coming up and i'm very excited! I'm hoping to go to Canoe with my friends. It's suppose to be fancy so i'm really excited about dressing up. It is located on the 54th floor of the TD tower building (I hope we get a window seat, because the view is suppose to be amazing!). I also want to visit this restaurant on King St in the middle of financial/theater district called Beerbistro (or something like that...), becuase it looks like it has a very downtown feel, almost like sex in the city but more business-ish.

I had a $5 lunch today at Hart House. I didn't know that it was held by the chemistry department until I got there, so technically I do not consider myself that geeky. The food was ok, but there was a lot of it. They did give the food very cheesy names which comprised of the name of a chemist in front of the actually food name (i.e. Mendeleev salad).

At the moment I am discretely trying to eat my ham and egg sandwich in the library while waiting for Gendi to get out of class so we can go home together.

Ok, time for me to go home!
BYE!

officially 21

so yes, i am offically an adult. legal in the US. and i actually do feel a little different. must be the after-effects of all the drinks from last night.

last night @ krave....it was interesting. i can't really remember all the details, everything seemed to happen as a blur, but i do remember having some moments of fun-ness.

dinner was really yummy. I'm going to have to bring my parents to asian legend one day. i think they'll like it. i was very surprised by the cake...the fact that they brought it out so quickly after dinner. Let's just say that B is the wrost liar in the world...or that my friends are pretty bad at being subtle...or it's most likely becuase i am so smart. hahaha. but i was really touched that someone remember that chestnut was my favourite cake flavour.

one thing we forgot to do was take a sticker picture. i guess we'll just have to take it when everyone comes back again. reading week, maybe?

Turning 21...

in about 3 hours. It's so....I don't know. 21 sounds so old. 21 sounds like an age where I should've already accomplished something in my life. A while ago, I was watching some show on TLC and the girl was 21 and already had a kid. Not that I'm in a hurry to have kids, but I'm turning 21 and I've never even held a guy's hand!!!....(ok, I'm just being sarcastic). But still, I've never really been in a serious relationship with a guy. Is there something wrong with me? No, I don't think so, because I am fabulous and totally date-able (argh! I hate that stupid book!).

I am currently reading "He's just not that into you" and I hate it and love it at the same time. I hate it because it makes finding the perfect guy so easy, but I love it because it's so true. In a way, it's telling me things I already know, but it's just different reading them off paper/hearing it from someone else.

Things I need to do:
1) read the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe
2) go the body worlds @ the science center
3) visit a casino
4) knit a scarf for my cousin's baby
5) renew my driver's license

Well I'm going clubbing tomorrow. My friends promised me a really fun night. Call me if you want to join. Everyone is welcome! It should be really fun and entertaining to see drunk Steph!

I hope all of you had a merry Christmas and a happy new year! All the best.

All I want for Christmas...

is you! (hahahaha)

It's December and it's that time of year again!
Should I be so excited? Along with Christmas also comes exams, which actually is starting to ruin Christmas for me. Back in High School, exams were always after Christmas. Why can't it be the same in university? At least I'll have an extra 2 weeks to study!

So what is new with me?
I just started my first retail job at Jacob Outlet at First Markham Place. Come visit me, if you like, but don't ask me for a discount becuase I don't even get one for myself! Which really sucks and kind of defeats the whole purpose of working there in the first place. I found out during my first shift that not many people stay there for longer than 3-4 months. I was very surprised by that, thinking "it can't be that bad, can it?". OH YES IT CAN! 5 whole hours of non-stop folding of clothes. And I don't know what is wrong with them, but they don't have one of those folding boards which would serioulsy make my life so much easier. Maybe I should ask for one of those for Christmas and bring it in during my shifts so that I can mock the other girls. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyways, I'm probably only going to be working there for the season, I cannot imagine myself staying there for any more than I have to. Although most of the girls that are there are very nice, it's really not worth it. In fact, I think I should start looking for a new job. Any recommendations? I kind of want to work at Future Shop or Best Buy. I need a new laptop...hehehe...

Tiger and Peper are so funny! They are all I need for Chirstmas!
