So challenge 4 was developing a relationship with someone, or a few someones, and work out for 30 minutes a day. It was great! I do love talking to people and developing relationships wherever I go.
Challenge 5 is wide open for me to choose something I need to work on and work out. It can be anything from physical, emotional, financial, social, etc...I decided to read for 30 minutes a day. It doesn't seem like a long time, but it will be good for me.
I am tending my old bishop's black lab, Bud, while they are serving their mission. He really is training me how things are to be done! I really enjoy having him around. He is very protective and well behaved. Every time I drive up the driveway, he runs out to make sure its me, and then he goes and grabs his orange ball or stick for me to play with him. I had him jump in the canoe with me the other day and he just sat there on the lookout for a duck or bird. Glad he didn't see one or I would have been in the water! No doubt!

2300 Miles of Adventure
Wendy and I went on a road trip last week. We decided to drive over to Newport and then down the coast to the Redwood National Forest. We had a blast! We went to the Aquarium, boat ride and saw a whale 7 times, dinner at Tidal Raves, shopping in Lincoln City outlets, a 3 mile and 9 mile hike in the Redwoods, over to Crater Lake, delicious seafood, great camping (which included a shower every day :)), walking on the beach, found new friends in Gold Beach, and much more. I am ready to go back. We saw some beautiful things, here are just a few of the pics:

Engagement!
So last weekend my other roommate got engaged! For any of you that know Amy and Aaron, here are a few pictures of their announcement in the Rexburg 4th of July Parade. He proposed close to the end of the parade and then they jumped in the back of this cute car and finished the parade with everyone else! I wish you could have seen our faces as they drove by. We were so suprised! Yay! Their big day is September 18. So one in August and one in September...fun times!

Another Year Older...
Last week I traveled to KT to visit family. I was able to stay for about 8 days, what a blessing! My parents met me there and we were able to spend a lot of quality time together as well as site see and eat great food. What a blessing it is to have a family! I have been on my own for 11 years now, and have never really lived close to family (closer than the 4 hour drive to UT). I try and take advantage of times I can leave Rexburg and be with them. I truly cherish the time we spend together. This trip was much needed.
During the past 6 months, I have grown a lot inside (hopefully not too much on the outside ;)). I have learned more about myself, what I want, what I need, and much more. It's one of those chapters in my life that I will have a permanent bookmark. I am grateful for the people in my life and for Rexburg.
During the next two months there should be a few new adventures and I am curious to see the change. My best friend, Katie, is getting married on August 13 and selling her home (if any of you are looking to buy!). It has been so fun to be around to see them fall in love. I couldn't be happier for them. So I will be moving out in the future. What a treat that has been to live there. I will officially graduate again (at least that's what they tell me). I am being fired from my Institute calling of 8 years (at least that's what they tell me). Some of these things have been part of me for so long, it will be interesting to see what's in store. Oh don't worry, if you know me, I am already making plans :). Do you honestly think I could sit still for a few minutes? Well I plan to, but not too much!
Life is a great gift. Here are some pics for your enjoyment. Most of them don't need much explaining...

Updating Time
I had two cousins get married a week ago down in Utah. One on my dad's side of the family and one on my mom's side. It was nice that they planned it so well so I could go to both! I loaded up the ol' car drove down Friday night in time for Ashley's wedding (dad's side). It was really nice to be with aunts and cousins and siblings that evening. The bride and groom looked great! Sorry I don't have any pictures of that evening.
Saturday was a busy day filled with wedding events. The sealing, wedding luncheon, and reception. I loved being able to attend the sealing and hear the powerful counsel and advice the sealer gave. The Spirit was there and you could tell that Ambria and Shane were prepared to be there. I loved that.
Melissa, Elicia, and Yanin were able to come as well! Thanks ladies for making the trip down and hanging out for awhile. I love how weddings bring families and close friends together. Such a happy time.
Thanks family for letting me stay with you. Now can you see how my two younger brothers look so much alike. I am grateful for such a great family. Love you all--both those that were there and those that couldn't make it!
Here is a picture of Yanin and me. Happy Birthday Yanin on the 5th of May!! I hope you had a great day!
And for all of you that remember the "mexi-q" days and the nights filled with making pico de gallo...this is for you! Days to always remember...Happy Cinco de Mayo (a few days late!!)
