First Valentine

It's not very often I take Cassidy out in the cold to get the mail, but the other day I decided to and there was something in there for her!It was a Valentine from great Grandpa and Grandma Frenette. Here she is giving it a kiss! She couldn't wait to eat the candy so it has a couple of bits taken out of it! Thank you grandpa and grandma, she loves her valentine!

Now I'm a Real Utah Mom

Here it is, our new van! We love it and I'm getting more used to it now. At first it was really weird to drive, especially since I have been driving a stick for 8 years! While we were test driving it we came to a stop light and when it turned green I panicked and said I don't know what to do! I was looking for the stick, the clutch or anything to help me get this thing going! But all I had to do is push on the gas, how simple! All the seats are all stow and go, so they all fold down into the floor, which is very cool and handy! Plus when they aren't folded down you can store stuff in the floor like blankets, jumper cables and things like that!We just got the DVD player put in a couple of days ago. It doesn't match very well, it's brown and Aaron says every time he looks at it he throws up a little. We talked to the people who put it in and they are going to switch it out for a silver one that will match better, why didn't they do that in the first place? Here you can see our cool lighting, it's actually green but it turned out blue in the picture. And here's Cassidy ready to go!

Good Bye Old Friend

Last week I said goodbye to my wonderful Jetta. I have to admit I almost cried a couple of times. I have had this car since I was 19 (that's 8 years!) It was the first car I had ever bought and I loved it so much! It was always my dream car, the car I said I would one day own, a silver Jetta with a sun roof, and that's what I got! It treated me well, many many memories with this car. It never gave me any trouble, it was running great when we got rid of it with 126,000 miles on it, no dents or dings or anything! I tried to convince Aaron we needed to get rid of his car not mine, but mine was in much better shape and we could get much better trade in for it, plus I will be driving our new car (pictures to come once it is not so cold outside!) so Aaron didn't want to drive around the Jetta since it is a "girl car." I will really miss this car although I am super excited to have our new one!

Climber

Cassidy is really into climbing these days, especially on the chairs then onto the table. Today she started to climb on the chairs before she pulled them out; therefore getting stuck under the table. She would cry until I saved her but then would just do it again, silly girl.

Super Bowl

Well this is the only picture I have of our super bowl party! It was good food! We made chili and chip dip. Our party was kind of a small party since we decided to plan it the night before, it was just me, Aaron, McKie and Linda but it was still lots of fun! And since we had plenty of food I think we probably all ate a little too much.....I know I did!

Toy Store

For our Friday outing last week we went to the Red Balloon toy store. Cassidy had so much fun, until she started knocking everything of the shelves and got in trouble (she had no nap and was being a little naughty)She loved this little table, her and Bailey had to take turns which was hard for both of them, but there was only one chair. Sorry some are blurry but I still liked them.

Girl Time

Friday me and my sister-in-laws all got together at my Mother-in-laws house for a lunch she planed. All of our birthdays are at the beginning of the year so Linda decided we should celebrate them together! She made a really nice lunch, and look how beautiful everything is! It was a lot of fun to spend some time together, thanks Linda, we love you!We all wore a hat for fun.Linda gave us all these cute jackets, some cute gloves, some facial cream, treats, and a pearl bracelet (for an activity we also made pearl necklaces to go with it!) We had a great time!

17 Months Old

Cassidy is 17 months old today! I just can't believe how fast time goes by and what a big girl my little girl is becoming! She is so much fun she makes me laugh everyday! She is such a good girl and listens to her Mommy most of the time, she helps clean up, puts the dishes away and puts knows where it all goes. She picks up on things really fast and knows just what you are talking about. She still doesn't talk much but she will answer me "ya" or "an ah" (no clue how to spell that sound, you know for no?) or she will shake her head, so those two things help out a ton in figuring out what she wants! She also says night night among her other usual words. She knows what she wants and is very determined to get it. She doesn't get into much mischief besides climbing onto the table from a chair. When she bonks her head she will put her hand on where she hit it, she bonks her head all the time but recovers quickly. She now has 10 teeth! 4 molars came in the past month. She giggles a lot especially when she is getting what she wants. She loves to kiss as seen in the videos, she gets really into her kissing and most of the time includes her tongue, but I love getting kisses from her! I especially love the little kiss sound she makes with it. If you tell her "I love you" then she will usually give you a kiss. She loves to sleep and is sleeping in until 9:00 or 9:30 these days! She knows most of her body parts and loves shoes! If you ask her if she is tired and she is then she will put her hands on her eyes. She says ahhh after she takes a drink or even just for fun. She says hmmm when I say it and will do it over and over. She loves books and the ABC song. She loves going out, no matter where we are going. She likes to clap, play patty cake and ring around the rosies. We just love this little girl!

Books

Last Friday me and Emily took Cassidy and Bailey to Petco to see the pets there (I didn't get any pictures) Cassidy loved it, she loved all the different animals there was to look at (there weren't many animals, but she liked it anyway) I had Cassidy in the basket of the cart and when we went over to see the fish she grabbed a hold of a sign and it fell off into a fish tank, oops! After we went to Desert Book and let them read some books, Cassidy loves books! It was a lot of fun!
