selamat hari raya!

well, it is 2.16 in the morning...

and im wide awake, sitting infront of my laptop as i chat with people like fadee, afro barbie, nadzrie etc

oh well..

just one hour ago, i had my pre-raya celebration at a senior's place. we had "babi" over at their new apartment. ops dont get me wrong babes. the "babi" word here is the informal name of BBQ used by Australians. hurhurur...

anyways, i did managed to have a taste of e instant ketupat. hehe. i guess that will do. im so grateful. really am =)) apart from that, i also managed to eat my favorite pineapple tart. GOSH. if only i could sneak the whole container into my tiny cardigan pocket. heeeeeee.... =P

hmmm. i guess this is how i celebrate my raya in Brisbane. the atmosphere here is totally different. but oh well... for the sake of education, i am willing to sacrifice =)

well i cant be there to celebrate it with ya...
BUT i did bought you a small something.
it is nothing big. really.

initially i planned to buy you a beanie but all the beanie dont look nice uh.
sooooo, since you cant wear it, i shall wear it for you. haha.

anyways, while shopping for the gift, i did bought a little something for myself too.

i saw hilary duff having this tiger bangle so i kind of got excited & bought it straightaway. i must say that it is an impulse buy. dont even bother ask me how much it cost. but oh well, it does make me feel better after having a hard time with assignments & rommies. opsss! =p hurhurhur.






by the way, raya is just around the corner huh...

i am not sure how the atmosphere would be like that day. but i do have plans to vid call my family in the morning. then the following day, i planned to visit Movie World. hee. yayness. hope it goes well.

oh ya, since this year i have no raya kuehs to munch on, i bought myself a packet of fresh sneakers cookie. haha. it is sneakers in a cookie. something new to me. but how pathetic is that!!!

lately..

... there are loads of assignments to complete. oh gosh. therefore no updates. however, i did managed to watch a couple of movies & tv series online. the new season for gossip girl & OTH is out! yayness. oh ya, wall.E was okay but hellboy II was better than hellboy I.. some new series such as 90210 & previlage was good too. heeee. i LOIKE.

fasting in a foreign country was alright. the only difference was that i have to prepare my own break fasting meal. but for now, i'm on a "lil' red light holiday" =\

so far i have been rotting at home & trying my best to complete all my assignments in time. i've got the result for some of the previous assignments & i guess i scored alright. the exams will be in a few months time. come to think of it, it is kind of fast huh?

for now, no interesting stuff to share but i am missing kueh tart & yong tau fu so very much =(

over here, "sahur" is at 4 in the morning & break fast is around 5.35 in the evening.

for "sahur", i had 2 pieces of wholemeal bread with nutella spread on 1 piece & peanut butter with jam on another... and to rehydrate myslef, i drank 2 cups of chocolate milk & a bottle of water. i dont think that is enough. hah.

... because i was super thirsty when i woke up to get ready for school =\

oh well... i am grateful that i managed to survive the 1st day.
