it has been a busy week for me. there are piles and piles of assignment thus that explains why the kitchen has not been producing any nice smelling aroma. hah!

soo, all i have to do is this...





anyways, fasting month is getting near!!!!! and so is RAYAAAAAA! sadly i wont be able to have raya collection this year =/ it would definitely be an experience celebrating raya over here in aussie. hee..

LAST 2 DAYS, my room mates, a new friend(who has graduated from UQ) & i went to a carnival which was held only once a year. it lasted about 7 days though. hee. it's called EKKA.

it is some kind of festival to celebrate some farmers stuff. haha pardon me for not knowing much about it. oh by the way, we need a ticket to enter. eesshhh! luckily i am a student. so tickets are discounted =) there are animals, food, rides and gift bags etc

however, for the last few days, we were too caught up with school work. thus we hardly have the time and energy to cook. fortunately, today we completed our assignments and cooked prawns! yum!

1st assignment

life in uni is totally different from poly. coming from rp, it feels weird to have a whole lot of assignments being thrown at me. the assignments & due dates kind of haunt me every time i am slacking in from of the telly or looking up pictures in friendster. heh heh.

my 1st science write up is due on monday. so these is what my roomies & i have been doing...

my wednesday

TODAY, as usual, lecture ends at 9 in the morning. therefore, my room mates and i went out to indooroopily by bus & train. there is a nice huge shopping mall there. it is as big as vivo but if you were to ask me which is better, i would definitely say the one here. haha!

i dont really know the reason to why it is better, but i do realize that i tend to buy more in the shopping mall here as compared to the ones back home. maybe 'cos the sales here can be quite syiok =))))

oh ya, please do not get the worng idea. this time, when i went shopping, i only buy the things that i NEED instead of WANT. heeeeeeeee. promise!!

afterwards we headed to central, also known as town, to continue with shopping. unfortunately, it was almost 4pm by the time we reached central. for your information, the shops closes at 5pm except for friday.

anyways, when i have come to realize that i had spent more than enough, i STOP & head home. haha. however, there are a few stuff that i realllyyyyyyyyyyyy want! arrrghh.... must save up larh. maybe next month okay sery? please behave & control yourself.

today is my 26th day here & school commenced last monday =)

well it is okay i guess. lectures can be interesting, depending on the lecturer & the topic.
for your information, i am taking up three 3 yr modules namely microbes & human health, biomedical parasitology, ecology of disease. oh ya, as for elective, i will be taking up japaness. haha. and that will be held in summer semester. i hope it is not going to be hard =
