yesterday was HAPPINESS

yesterday & today

YESTERDAY my family & i went to sim lim to hunt for a new desktop, as the old one decided to "die" & leave us all forever. afterwards, we headed to arab street to have lunch at House of Briyani. it has been ages since all of us had a meal together. heh.

oh ya, the briyani at House of Briyani was not bad. the chix served was tender & full of flavour. there are 3 different types of briyani namely from afghanistan, turkish & iran. coolness. pros, servings are generous therefore ibu & myself shared a plate so that there wont be any rice wasted =) cons, the pricing is a lil too high =(

TODAY, on the other hand, i went to bugis junction & arab street with pretty adila & funny fadee. heh heh. window shop around the place & found alot of nice stuff. happiness. however, i didnt manage to buy the ring i wanted from Utopia 'cos it closes before 7pm =(

we had a late lunch at Sultan Cafe but i think that was a wrong choice. haha. service & food served was not so good =P

TODAY, i decided to take the risk of cutting my hair again...

but when i reached home, i'm not sure if i like it 'coz i just cant tell if the cut really suits me =|

i must say that it is wayyyyy too short at the back. as for the front, i have no comments. hurhurhur.

the question is, should i love it or hate it?

splassshhh!

earlier this morning, i was a little reluctant to join my cousins for a swim at jurong swimming complex. heh. but i did woke up early & did some thinking. after much consideration, i decided to have some fun in the pool.

unfortunately, as soon as im in my super tight swimming attire (heh, i made up the "super tight" part), it started to drizzle. at first, it was drizzling very lightly. then as my cousins & i proceeded to the artificial waves, it started to pour heavily accompanied by lightning. as a result, all of us ended up sitting at one corner =|

eshhhh! and that lasted for almost an hour or so.....

afterwards, as the rain came to a halt, we jumped into the artificial fast flowing river bla bla bla... nothing to shout about except maybe, the 3 slides =)

YESTERDAY, nash & myself met up to have lunch at the Grillers. a nice place indeed. i have to say that the lightings made the atmosphere romantic. HAHAHAHA! eessshhh...

oh well..

i decided to try something new to spice up my taste buds, thus i did some researching & came across a blog named "backpacker mama quest for halal food". the writer has a lot of delicious recommendations. after much consideration, Grillers is the one. heh.

oh ya, its located at Tiong Bahru Plaza & food served are yummilicious! plus, if you order certain drinks, it will be served in mini marmalade jars. cuteness. servings were generous too =)

anxious larh..

in the last few days i have been doing some shopping with ibu, goldrose & irah. basically shopping for necessities for me to bring abroad such as tudungs, safety pins(to be worn with the tudung) and what not..

lately, im starting to feel a lil worried about flying off to a new place where everything will be foreign to me. this will be my 1st time being distant from my family & relatives for quite a long time, thus im unsure how i will manage over there..

YESTERDAY, i met up with fadee, adila & syima...
us girls only went window shopping ('coz all of us are broke!). i found a few pairs of shoes that i would love to buy. i am sooo in love with those gradiator heels! OMG. unfortunately, i did not buy any because it's either extravagant or no size. =|


anyways catching up was fun yet tiring...

b'dae cake & bears

YESTERDAY, i met up with the girls & we had dinner at Siam Kitchen. the food there was not too bad even though every single dish has a weird name to it. haha. anyways, the girls managed to suprise me with a weeny heart-shaped cake & an advance birthday gift =)

afterwards, we walked to Limbang Park & chat for hours. HAHA. ya, i know. out of all places we went to THAT park. anyways, it doesnt matter because we definately had a good time reminiscing about those secondary school days =)

i hate it when this happens. it can be very annoying & frustrating at the same time. oh well.. really hope everything will be okay soon.

nwaez, i went out just now & bought myself a pair of gladiators from topshop. faded green gladiator. hurhurhur. initially i wanted the brown gladiators. unfortunately, my size were out of stock. nevertheless, i still like the green ones. heeee =)
