Super randomly, made friends over sake last year. And then spent more time attending sake masterclasses. 😂 And one of these friends, happened to be staying in my same block, for the past 6 years. And we only got to know this month, just as he is moving out tmr. 😂

And he dabao-ed supper over, coz he said ‘last time staying in Fajar liao 😂😂’. And we caught up over a good chat of 11/2 hours. No drinks this time, coz his 2nd dose is tmr, but just chats and Ayataka. 😂

And was telling *o after who was there with us chatting, that I see a similarity in my friends. They’re drinkers and they’re guys. And they are less drama. 🤣 

Then he tells me, that’s why they’re your friends ma. 🤣🤣🤣 

But it’s true.. Besides the birdies who are all girls. And mum and the kids. The rest are all guys, and who drinks. 🤣 From 夜宵kaki, Ah Pang, Gus, Ah Wei, and now Jack. Maybe coz like what my sub-conscious tell me, guys are less drama. More straight forward. And drinking shows one’s true self. 酒品 is important to me. If you can carry yourself still when you are high and drunk, then yeah, definitely a friend to keep. 😊

 Chanced upon the show 海上繁花, and then got addicted to watching 窦骁. Like omg la. And that led me to another variety show called 追星星的人. And in this particular episode, 4 of the guys went to a local pub in Shangri-La and were drinking, chatting, singing. 

It just made me think of us, the times we hung out and drink and sang and ate. The singing got lesser as the years went by, and of course with the restrictions. But the drinking, eating, chatting continues over the years. Looking back, you 2 were the constant in this part of my life even with all the changes in the group, for at least a good 9 years at least. ❤️ Hence the term of drinking kaki and 夜宵 kaki. 🤣

It made me recall those crazy Malacca and JB trips we had, the singing in the car, in the backyard, along the river, and all the drinking and craziness. The singing, dancing and drinking at multiple Beer Fests on an annual basis, pre-covid. ❤️🍻

I guess in this life, the lesser the dramas the better, and super grateful to have you both around. And I guess the older we get, the more frequent we meet up, or at least we make the effort to. And for once I don’t find it a chore organising for the group, coz everyone in this group is worth the effort. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And I also realized, the 酒品 of everyone is decent. Hahaha.. Nothing too overbearing. 🤣

And! I realized I don’t have much close friends my age. Hahaha. Besides the 2 of you and random friend. Everyone else I am close are much older than me, the next closest being 4 years my senior.. And then everyone else is above 40. 🤣 But I do enjoy though.. Meaning I’m less bothered by people of different frequencies or dramas or what’s-nots. 😂

So when I do get my own place, definitely planning a space for k-ing, drinking, chilling and chatting in comfort. Unless someone else beats me to it, since all 3 of us are looking at getting our own place for whatever reason. 🤣 

So thank you for being here, not there. And for sticking through! (I hope I’m not the overbearing one though!) 😅
