here's a post with most of dad's side of the family. there are still more relatives that i didn't manage to capture on film. but i guess it takes more than one time as my dad has 7 sisters and 3 brothers excluding himself. what a big family man! =)

but here's a toast to the big families of the past coz they allow me to meet and know more people! =D

a start up: i took the pics in sepia coz i felt like it lo. more old school ba. =D and a little background knowledge of my dad's family. my dad's the 4th oldest in the family. first is my late 1st auntie. 2nd is my 1st uncle. following is my 2nd auntie and with my dad wrapping up the top 4. they were the ones who were in a way solely in charge of the younger ones and their education. no prizes for guessing what they all became in the end.

let's see: 2nd auntie and husband were teachers. 3rd auntie worked for ministry of environment. 4th auntie and husband are teachers. 5th auntie works for MOM while the husband works in some oil company. 6th auntie was a teacher and the husband has his own business. one of 1st uncle's daughter is a teacher while another is in the IT industry. 4th auntie's kids are all overseas. the son doing something with maths in US (i think) and the girl something to do with music i think (in london???). 5th auntie's kids are the only ones who are younger than me. one juz ORD (but from ACJC) while the other's in RI. 6th auntie's one daughter and husband are teachers. the other daughter is furthering her studies in biotech. and the son's my fav of all my cousins. coz he's the one i always meet up with. from SMU. my darling couzin. =D

see. so many teachers. so everyone seems to think that i should become a teacher too. if not something to do with maths or science. =X thank god the genes skipped me. coz even my bro is considering teaching if all else fails. he's from RJC. doing arts. econs. history. english lit. he loves his languages especially. tian.

and that's not the worse thing. almost all my cousins can play the piano. some went on to violin and cello and what nots. talented people. at least i know how to play the piano. (juz lazy to practice since eons ago.)

that's why at times i feel dumb as compared to all these people la. self pressure i guess. *shrugz*

anyways... there's my 5th uncle-in-law caught napping... hahaha... =)

and then we adjorned to my late 1st auntie's place to visit her husband who had a stroke and can't recognize us except for my dad. =X

and there's the hand excercise they started talking about with my 2nd auntie trying to demo... =)

and there i was trying to catch the feet excercise as well. =)
