happy new year everybody! ((:
went to marina yesterday for the countdown ((: the waiting was terribly long, with a bunch of people from lucky plaza sitting behind me who laugh like maniacs. but other than that little glitch, all else was fine and nice ((: spend those hours people-watching, reading, talking, thinking, and just letting 2008 slip away. the fireworks were great! though i didnt take photos of them, since photos would be doing injustice to the magnificent fireworks. (and since my camera has no batt anyway) went to catch a train to newton to meet them at brewerkz, but erm all the cabs were either hired or on call so in the end the guys wanna go alr. so i went to share cab with yang and liewqi ((: and had fun catching up with them (especially yang, who's got such an impressive piece of gossip!!)
cant wait for 3 jan, the 6G gathering!! ((:

gosh. i said sometime earlier that i will be blogging more frequently this hols (at least i implied so) and yet i fail to live up to my own expectations lol. been so so busy! with all the IHG trainings and matches, phew. now that we're out for bball, netball's quarter-finals start next year, and technically speaking i'm not playing tennis anymore, i can finally breathe! hahahs. all these trainings are taking up my shopping time!
despite that, i did manage to squeeze some time for some retail therapy! bought some tops, went xmas shopping for my tutees today and bought stuff for them. though i have yet to complete my xmas shopping, and xmas is like erm in 6 days time! and most imptly i havent bought for him yet!!! thank gdness i have what to buy in mind ((:
tomorrow shall be another shopping spree?? =P

today was yet another shopping spree!! ((:
sadly despite what i told sherman and ding yesterday, i didnt go to ps again for my yami yoghurt, but i went to marina with him. looked around for namecard holders for my daddy, but didnt see any that were nice and good. went to MOF for lunch, yummy ((: bought yet another top woots and watched bolt!!! damn nice! everybody must go watch!!
bolt is so cute!!! wish i could have such a superhero dog like him too! ((:

today was such a tiring day!
went for CurL event in the morning, distributed flyers and sold xmas and cny cards in AMK neighbourhood, wa damn tiring to climb and walk around the HDB flats!
after that took train down to douby ghaut, cos me michelle reggie sherman ding and omg zhikai met at ps and walked to fort canning for the B&J chunk fest. zomg uber alot of people can! the queue is uber long! saw xianglong and he told me he queued for 1.5h but he hasnt even cleared half of the queue yet. wth. so in the end we decided to pangseh the fest and head for cathay B&J instead! ((:
after that mich left and we headed back to ps. and omg i saw someone eating YAMI YOGHURT!!!!!!!!!! got damn high and went to hunt for it! found it in B2! so we went there..me and sherman got the medium one, and he and ding also bought the takehome pack!

ok. this hols i think i shall dedicate my blog to my retail therapy trips ((:
therapy 1:
went shopping with my mummy last thurs. bought a top and scouted for potential xmas presents for him.
therapy 2:
went shopping at JP with him and bought a nice sports cap for training so that i wont die of heat stroke, and finally bought jay chou's latest album at omg damn cheap 8.90 only ((:
therapy 3:
went shopping at far east with mummy today and bought 2 uber nice dresses. went paragon to shop for stuff cos i have 100bucks paragon voucher, but sadly all the stuff are just way too expensive for me. and after looking at all those nice ex stuff, the average-cost things ie things that are below 150 bucks look damn cheapo and no longer appeal to me )): and omg i saw this uber uber nice bag but its so ex! )): I WANT!!!!!!!
i forsee more retail therapy trips ahead! ((:

exams has finally concluded! liwei is in dire need of retail therapy.
and did i mention? how suay can i possibly get. after the tut grp bbq i fell sick (cold plus sore throat), and to my utter horror next sem i'm totally separated from my beloved tut grp. and not to mention, my timetable sucks to the core cos i've got a bloody 5 day week, and many many short days and many 830 lessons.
GREAT. RARR.
in any case, i spent an hour poring over the STARS Planner, and i managed to:
1. Plan 1: join the same stats and econs grp with my current tut mates, hoping that the sole vacancy in stats will be taken by me me and me and no one else. and take jap level 1 elective. and shift OB to wednesday so that i dont have to stay back on fri.
2. Plan 2: join the same econs grp with my current tut mates, take jap level 1 and shift OB
3. Plan 3: omg this is the most depressing plan. the worst worst case scenario. stick to what i have (OMG WTH) and take jap level 1.
gonna pray that i can really get my plan 1.
need to start exercising my fingers for the big day. FASTEST FINGERS FIRST YO.
