8 months!
Back here today for a mini update on things that had happened lately.
Things weren't that bad after the shift of office. Time seems to pass by faster too, I am loving the spacious working desk which I own hahaha. But I cant say much about my workload, its slowly piling up :X
Weekends have been spent catching up with friends/ café hopping/ gyming and catching up on my dramas. Speaking of dramas, recently completed quite a few at one shot and left with only 2!
These 5 were newly added into my completed drama list :) Thought I should write a small paragraph on my thoughts after watching them.
1) Man who came from another star
- How it came about
First learnt about it when ben mentioned it briefly to me but I shrugged it off! LOL.. Then after, other friends also start to talk to me about this drama and I eventually watched and got very hooked onto it. I am always camping to DL after its latest episode aired in korea each week.
- Review
A beautiful love story between the hot passionate korea top actress and an alien who have lived for 400 years. I guess I really have to give it to the acting skills of the leading actress, very bimbotic at first and turned sentimental towards the end. I think I teared a little or two at ep18/19 as it was too melancholic when they have to part. aigoooooooo.
Ost was awesome too. thanks ben for sending~
A must watch drama of the year~
2) One warm word
- How it came about
Lol downloaded it to keep me occupied as I commute daily to and fro workplace. Eventually finished the whole show albeit fast fwding it at times.
- Review
Not much of highlights worth to mention except for the tangled-up relationships between the pairs of couple. Omo~~ The mother-in-law was such a bitch in the show that every word that came out of her whiny mouth sounds so sour and acid. Aigoo.
3) Time of Love
- How it came about
Learnt of it when I saw WANBAO reporting that filming of this mini drama series span across 4 countries: SG MY KR JAP and its a collaboration between the various Asian countries.
- Review
Judging from the title of it, every short story depicts a love story just that the genre is different ( sad/ comedy) Enjoyed this series as it brings me to Japan and Korea in the show. :) Lindy Cheung and Wang Cho Lam were outstanding in the show.
4) Lets Eat
- How it came about
The title of the show caught my eye.
- Review
Omo~ Very hooked on and poisoned by the show. Simply love their facial expressions as they savour the different dishes from ep 1 to ep16. That also meant every week throughout the past 4 months I would have Korean food cravings as invoked from this show lol. Apart from the food, this drama revolves about people and their love for food with a mystery crime that set its stage in ep1. Another character worth of mention other than the main characters is "Attorney Oh Do Yeon" she simply steals the limelight ds.
Do watch to understand what I mean` HAHAS!
5) Gilded Chopsticks
- How it came about
Was sourcing for some TVB Cantonese drama to watch and a period drama obviously caught my eye. All the more better that it was about the friendship between a "commoner turned imperial chef (WCL)" and emperor and how their friendship stayed strong despite all the palace dangers.
- Review
Maybe I am biased cause I always have a liking for TVB period drama -. very yang haha. I cant explain why I don't like to watch Korean period drama, it just don't appeal to me (I know AJM and Nicholas like watching ds lol)
Wang Cho Lam was the highlight in the show for being the comedian much and the hero in assisting the emperor in protecting his newly attained throne. Oh the opening theme song is very xyy too. sang by WCL of course! :)
P.S. I watch this drama everyday at work from 8am - 845am lolol.
On a sidenote, Its MACDONALDS free MC muffin day tmr! gonna grab some :))
