it was definitely a great long weekend spent! the last short getaway before my school starts 07082010: went JB with fellow JH BBQ and Ben.. definitely enjoyed the daytrip alot.. i swear its one of the most fun jb trip i ever had out of so many i went. :) 09082010: went JB yet again with family. ggreat feast at seoul garden :) got what i wanted - definitely one happy singaporean. happy 45th birthday singapore too. :]
10082010 marks the 1st day of school in NUS. yet another dull semester to expect i guess. thank god i managed to sieve out a free off day(wednesday!) so its gonna be alternate 2 work days for me. great :D
would be taking 2 core modules and 3 electives this semester: St2132: mathematical statistics Ma2311: advanced calculus Ma2219: introduction to geometry CL1101E: introduction to chinese language LAM1201: Basic malay
3 maths/stats and 2 languages. i wonder if i can cope with it but nevertheless i am going to work hard this semester ok to improve my cap at least:)
also with the start of school, it means i am a step closer to my last day of work in ica alr :( today was the 3rd last day :/ well got pushed up to lvl3 which isnt where i expect i'll be for the day. surprisingly, it was rather empty today and i merely waited for time to pass(i think i spent only 1/2 the time sitting at the counter) hahas. in addition, i hate the lunch roster ttm. i dun like it when i cant get to eat with my buddies for lunch, but well what to do? i am so gonna go for 2hrs lunch on 18 aug :)
2 more days of work 14 aug and 18 aug :P cherishing every moment of work to come..
well gonna sleep soon, head getting heavy after reading my chinese notes(p.s. i haven tocuh chinese materials since 2005 man). nitex!
time really do flies, its august so fast! and today marks my 3months stint as temp at ica once again.. happy 3 month anniversary working lance :D ICA, definitely not a stranger place to me. It seems to be like my 2nd home,i have more 感情attached than compared to school. Its there where i get to make many great friendships :))
1) 22012009 - 23072009 [24 weeks] posted to passport department. surely not the best of all floors, its one of the busiest floor among all. :( but soon i got to love working with the people around.
Staying at collections aka tracer room for 6months surely dont sound great to all i guess. can still remember the days i do runner alone from C18 - C46 for the whole day. that really sucks, but haha thanks to that, managed to slim down abit.. lol.. there were days of OT-ing at Lvl3 Perso room till 8pm. hahas and in july was sent to lvl6 for attachment 2 weeks. the 2 weeks there made me miss lvl2 even more, life is not as flexible there :/
Throughout the six months, i watch new temps come and go, and partings are always sad i guess! :( but great frenships are forged.
and not forgetting some of the closer perm staffs: zoo, caroline, salbiah, duyung. liana, diyah :D
23072009 marks the last day at passport aft 6 months, surely cant bear to leave but yet life goes on as i embark on a new chapter of life at NUS :（ unforgettable day definitely, shedded tears of 舍不得 then..这也许就是所谓的日久生情吧。伤离别咯。。。
2) 76112009 - 14012010 [7 weeks] this time round, with the help of wx, im posted to HR! woah :) definitely the highest floor any temps could be.. hahas, but the working hours are kind of rigid and not to my liking. jobscope wise is really officework lor, which soon i find it boring to sit to the chair for 8hrs straight.. hahas. but throughout the short 7weeks stint, i get to kaypoh looking at others portfolio. haha i can spend one hour just to read their academic transcript man.. hahah but the most memorable event was the xmas celebrations :) [we had [xmas celebrations n hotel standard buffet!] and the many buffets that we had.
Hahas, spent most time chit chatting rather than doing productive work. can even go lvl2 met up with old colleagues :) i guess my name is blacklisted from going back hr alr.. simply just too slack when im there. hahahas nevertheless the HR ppl are always onz to go eating sessions.

3) 04052010 - 18082010(Most Probably -14 weeks) given the choice of Passport or PR to go. yet i chose passport. went back 1st day, was shocked that management somehow changed and definitely not for the better. I thought i would be back to collections since i belong there but was given to CAU admin side. the 1st 2 weeks boring mundane life of store and dust was put to a closure as we are pushed to info side! hahas started out as something refreshing but as days go on. patience level drops, temper level rose.. :(
