Friday 18th September 09
Went down to PS to meet Ken after work. He picked me up from the bus stop and we went to the basement to play the soft toy catcher machine (not sure what do you call that) because his sister saw the Elmo that we won and found that cute. So he tried to catch 1 for her.
After catching it, we had dinner at Secret Recipe and since it was still early after we finished dinner, we went to the arcade to take a look. We were so bored that we decided to play the biggest soft toy catcher machine there. We changed about fifty dollars worth of tokens and sat there for 1 hour patiently waiting to hit the Jackpot before the winning the soft toy. During this process, we won lots of sweets too... A BIG bag I mean. And we won 2 Stitch tissue box holder. One for Ken, and 1 for me.

Watched The Ugly Truth at 9.35pm after that. It was a very funny show with loads of sexual reference. Most importantly, Gerard Butler was damn charming! Haha...

Oh, it was a red bomb from Jennifer! This will be my 1st time attending my friend's wedding! OMG! I'm so excited and happy for you babe!
To Ethel Goh and Partner.
She passed me the wedding invitation when we met for dinner at Timbre @ Arts House.
Nice place, good food, great for gatherings.
Our drinks.

Our Tapas, stuffed mushroom with cheese and bacon bits.

It wasn't that fantastic so we decided to hop over to Wala Wala @ Holland Village.
We were enjoying ourselves that we forgot to take photos... Only this was taken in Wala's toilet. HAHA.
The band that was playing was Energy. Boy, were they good!
A guy ran up the stage suddenly, following behind was another guy carrying a video cam with bright lighting. Similar to what Mediacorp is using.
At first, I thought he was the co-vocalist of the band who arrived late, but what he said next shocked everyone in the room.
Guy: I would like to propose to my girlfriend...
Everybody in the room cheered on for his courage...
Shortly after saying that, he started singing and the live band played along... The song he sang was Coldplay's Yellow.
OMG! That was a very sweet proposal!!! I admire his courage as he sang live in front of a room of strangers.
His girlfriend went up the stage and was smiling happily... Think she was very surprised that her boyfriend proposed to her. After the song ended, he knelt down, took out the ring and asked,
"The love of my life, will you marry me?"
The girl nodded her head and everyone in the room cheered again! Wow, they certainly received lots of blessings from all the people in the room. They left the place after the guy put on the ring and passed her a bouquet of flowers.
AWWWWWW... That's a very good proposal...
After that, Jennifer and I cabbed home.
I enjoyed myself tonight. =)

Went to Cineleisure to meet my sister and Wanyui for dinner. Ate at Shokudo before heading down to Parklane for L4D.
Wanyui's colleague and his friends were already there playing when we joined them.
This was the first time my sister played and it was months since I last played, hence we kept losing. Haha... But it was fun.
The 3 of us cabbed home after that. Damn shagged to play after work.

Met up with Ken's sister at Chip Bee Gardens for baking class.
It was a 4 hour session that cost $225! LOL. Anyway, we made chocolate fudge cake.

My mum came to pick me up after work and we headed to Dempsey for dinner.
Ate at P.S. Cafe.

After dinner, we had the double chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream! It was so big that all 3 of us had to share. Haha... Sinful...

Went home for dinner before heading down to Ken's place after work.
We were supposed to play mahjong with Kenny but we were short of 1 player, hence his sister played with us before leaving for the airport.
After she left, we decided to go watch movie. We booked the tickets online and went down to The Cathay. We we tried to collect the tickets, the person could not find our booking records and asked what movie we were watching.
As I told him that we were watching Year One, he exclaimed that Cathay was not screening Year One. Suddenly I realised that I booked the tickets at GV PS instead. OMG.
I think the show was lame...
Reached home around 4am... Woah... Damn TIRED...

Ken called me in the afternoon to inform me that he'll be buying Guitar Hero with Kenny and asked me to meet at his place at 7pm so that we can play together.

We played from 10pm to 3am... Wah tired.... Consecutive 2 days without proper sleep. HAHA...
