Woke up feeling sick today. Hence, I'm resting at home.
Anyway, I received a phone call from dear on Sunday that he sprained his ankle while playing tennis with his brother and Kenny.
Yesterday, he called again to tell me that it was swollen and his ankle looked like a ball. Hence, I went over to his place after work to accompany him.
He told me that he has a craving for a certain dish from Crystal Jade, so I made a detour there. Tsk tsk, what a glutton. HAHA.
I secretly bought his favourite drink, watercress with honey! Wanted to give him a surprise. Ya, indeed was he surprised that I bought him the drink. I'm such a nice girlfriend! =) *ding ding*
Ate dinner and watched the 7pm show together. I've influenced him to like that show. Haha. Left around 10pm.
It actually hurts me so to see him limp with every step he takes. Get well soon okay? During this time, please refrain from playing sports. =)

Monday 20th April 09
Ken asked me out for dinner today.
Met him at Holland V and we ate at Thai Express.
After dinner, we walked over to the hawker center for desserts.
He sent me home after that.
Really felt happy to meet him for dinner after work. Really makes me forget about the stress and unhappy incidents that happen during work that particular day.
Thursday 23rd April 09
Received an sms from Wanyui early in the morning. Wondering what was it about.
Oh, she asked me out for lunch as she was going to Comtech for appointment with her clients.
Met her at 12pm and had lunch at Wei Xiao Bao. Moved over to Steffi's for drinks as it was too noisy there.
Chatted about loads of stuff. Parted around 1.30pm.
Went back to office and helped Soh Fun with the company salary revision exercise. Had to despatch all the the increment/promotion letters by today.
Managed to finish this important task.
Friday 24th April 09
Reached office this morning and realised that Annie was rushing to prepare the files for the Mentoring Program at 10am. Hence, I offered my help to her.
Helped her with the QC of the files and then packed them into boxes. I also offered to assist her in the Mentoring Program.
Azni offered to send us to Singapore Poly Guild House as we were running late and Farhan was nowhere at sight.

The whole event ended at 5pm. Annie and I shared a cab with Ricky back to office. From there, I did some last minute work and then met Ken at Holland V for dinner.
Ate at Crystal Jade. We cabbed down to Wanyui's house after that to play tennis. I think the cab driver was the lamest person I've encountered so far in my entire life! LOL. Entertaining ride...
Played tennis frpm 9pm-10.30pm and then went for drive-thru at KAP Macs before proceeding to Ken's house.
Actually we wanted to play mahjong but we were more interested in S Factor. Ken's brother has recorded some episodes and we were laughing like mad while watching. Most of the participants CMI! Seriously...
Watched Red Thread too.
After watching Red Thread, I realised that his brother also recorded Troublesome Night. It is a HongKong horror show starring Louis Koo. It was already 3am when the show ended. Hence, we decided to call it a day. Wanyui sent me home and I crashed straightaway.
Saturday 25th April 09
Forced myself to wake up at 9am today to go out with my mum. Sent my little sis to her Saturday class and then we went for breakfast at BK.
Collected my new specs, clothes from the tailor and then visited my grandparents.
Picked my little sis and then went to West Coast Plaza for lunch. We ate at Fish & Co. After lunch, my mum sent me to Pandan Valley Condo. My sec school guy friends had organized a texas holdem session at my ex-principal's house.
Reached there around 3.30pm and left at 6.45pm for dinner at Marina Square. My luck sucked. HAHA

My guy friends bought the texas holdem kit during their trip to HongKong. Hardcore leh!

We continued watching some old school Hong Kong show starring Andy Lau. It was damn hilarious and corny! LOL. Watched another horror show after that. By that time, it was already 5am and Wanyui and I fell asleep on the couch. We were woken up the guys and Wanyui drove me home at 6am. HAHA.
I need some sleep. SERIOUSLY!

Monday 13 April 09
I'm on leave today. It really feels good not to work on a Monday! =)
Went for massage and spa at Bukit Batok Civil Service Club with my mum and dad. It is called The Ultimate Wellness Haven. It was a very nice place! Everything was built on hilltop!
Outdoor pavilion.
We can see the swimming pool from our pavilion.
My mum and I shared the outdoor pavilion. First we had a full body scrub, and then followed by full body massage with rose massage oil. Ahhhh.... It felt really great.
Although the session felt really relaxing, it was sort of awkward at some point of time as the masseuse had to touch some sensitive parts of my body. LOL. I guess I have to get used to it since it was a full body massage.
After the 2 hours of pure indulgence, we went for lunch at Swensens followed by my laptop collection at Fujitsu Service Centre. Took quite some time at the service centre as there were many customers. My dad dropped me at Expressions for facial at 4pm.
Really enjoyed my day off today!

Today my department ordered 933 Golden Pillow to celebrate Jean's farewell. It was our boss's treat.

After that I went over to Comtech and saw Wanyui. LOL.
Wednesday 15 April 09
Today my dad came to pick me up during lunch time and we went to NUS to configure my Fujitsu laptop as it was still under NUS domain. We joined my sister at Science Canteen and she was eating lunch with her friends. I managed to configure the laptop with the help of Science IT Co-Op. Headed back to office and ate lunch at PSA Building with my dad.
As we were going down the escalator, David came up. I introduced him to my dad and he exclaimed:
I THOUGHT YOUR DAD IS YOUR BOYFRIEND!
OMG! All 3 of us were laughing like mad. David kept apologizing, saying that my dad looked young hence the misunderstanding. LOL. Ya, my dad looks young for his age. Many people says that. David further added that at a closer look, we do look alike.
The joke of the day! Haha.

Today, we had a birthday celebration for Jean and Yati.
And it was also our SVP's birthday.

This morning, I had to arrange Farhan to despatch all SCS employees' personal files over to Comtech. As the files were private & confidential (with all salary, personal particulars etc), I had to tag along, ensuring that no one else has his hands or eyes on them.

He told me he was camera shy... >.<

After lunch, we had a farewell celebration for Jean. Today is her last day with us. *sob*
We ordered Cheesecake from Bakerzin. It was good! =D~
Jean was so popular that even our SVP attended.
Awwww... Jean teared as she was so touched by us.
Presents from all of us!
A very meaningful card specially for her.
Our names were written on the animals! LOL
I've handmade a photoframe for Jean from scratch! If you receive something which is handmade by me, this means that you are someone whom I really like/treasured. =)
The animals that were molded from clay and painted by me!
I've also painted the frame in Jean's favourite colour, which was green!

After work, Ken accompanied me to see the doctor at Holland V. as I had an infected left eye. It was slightly red without discharge or anything. Thus, the doctor confirmed that it was not a sore eye. He prescribed eye drops for me though.
Ate dinner at the noodles shop and then went to his place to study. He studied for his exam while I read through the documents of C906 which was handed over to me by Jean.
Went home around 11.30pm as his sisters friends were coming over.
Saturday 18 April 09
Ran lots of errands today.
Sent my little sis to her morning class and then headed for breakfast with my mum at Toa Payoh HDB Hub. There, I've made a new pair of spectacles as the current one is already 7 years old! LOL. Went to POSB and UOB bank and then went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital to visit my grandma.
She was hospitalized as she had to undergo an operation to insert a tube into her stomach which will facilitate her dialysis. I'm glad to see her smiling and talking but I know underneath all that smile and laughter, she is feeling vulnerable as she has to go for dialysis for the rest of her life. I am really sad for my grandparents. Currently my grandma has kidney problem and my grandpa is still recovering from his stroke at home. Both of them have been frequenting the hospital recently. Really hope that they can recover soon.
Fetched my little sis from her class and ate lunch at Junction 8. Drove back to Bishan St 13 (my previous home) to tailor my pants.
Actually I'm quite sick of Bishan and Toa Payoh. I frequent there every Sat morning as my little sis has classes at Thomson Plaza.
Went to the tour agency in Chinatown to make some enquiry and then ate dessert there! Yummy! I love almond jelly with longan! =)
Met Ken at Marina Square at 6.30pm and caught 17 Again. Zac Efron is cute and the show was hilarious! Go catch it! Nope, it isn't as gay as HSM. LOL
Played in the arcade before walking over to Esplanade to meet Wanyui and Jeremy for late dinner as they had to attend some concert by NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
Ate at Ichiban Boshi and then left for Ken's house. Played mahjong until 3am. I am the overall winner last night! WOW! I've been losing for the past sessions! FINALLY! ROAR!
Crashed when I reached home.
