Had a mini department celebration last week. It was to celebrate those birthday that falls in the months of January, February, March and April. Heh. My boss treated all of us pizza and a mango cake. This was also a mini celebration for David's promotion to Asst. Manager! Way to go David! We are all very happy for you! =)

Munch munch munch...
Ken and I met up with Sophia on last Saturday for dinner and movie. It was a mini gathering cum celebration for her successful application into SMU! Congrats girl! Study hard and play hard in SMU! =)
Then on Sunday, it was the Career Discovery fair in Suntec organized by CATS. Annie, Kenny, Wee Long, Brandon and I were on duty from 10am to 8pm! Imagine we had to stand for so long! Our legs ached(still aching now) and my stupid new shoes gave me problem! I had to stick 4 plasters to prevent the blisters formed from bursting. Ouch!

Response was overwhelming and some candidates had to squat at one corner to fill up our application form.
It was tiring but a fun day. Oh yes btw, Annie and I took the lift together with Jacelyn Tay! OMG! She is so pretty! But very skinny. Everyone in the lift was staring at her and the guys were drooling! Haha.
What were these people queuing for?

Today is Ben & Jerry's free cone day! That explains the long long long x10 queue. Did you manage to get one? I didn't. Haha. But I did manage to take a picture with the mascots! LOL!
Elisa and I went to Vivo for lunch just because of the free cone! When we reached there, our eyes popped out! There was a super duper long queue! So we decided to give up the idea of queuing under the hot sun just for a scoop of ice cream and went to eat lunch at Secret Recipe. While eating, we observed the long queue and to my surprise, I saw Jonny, Bobby and Idil! Haha, they were actually queuing for the free scoop! Hmmm, I thought they were supposed to be mugging for their exams? Heh. So I gave Jonny a call. He was surprised that I was there too. Heh.
Anyway, I was actually quite sad that I didn't manage to get the cone as I was looking forward to this since the day I received the mass email from Elisa. Haha. Oh well... Next time perhaps? Haha. Because of this, I realized that Godiva is actually selling ice cream too! Haha. They are having promotion now till end of summer. Buy one and get the 2nd one at half price! Hee. Go try! =P

This was most hectic week that I've been through so far since my first day of work. I had done 8 PDR presentations/briefings and assisted Elisa for 4 sessions within 5 days. I was repeating the same things for the past 5 days and was almost bored to death by my own presentation. Sheesh! At least the worst is over! Yay! Now back to work! I just love closing positions! =)
Elisa and I went down to site C831 on Monday to conduct briefing for the employees on the new PDR system.

The cab driver did not have a clue of the site location despite showing him the map.
How the site entrance looked.
After briefing, we tried to hail a cab at the entrance but not a single cab was sighted! Well, it was a deserted place!

Oh ya, feeling bored, I also took some photos during a T-Con session with our India employees regarding the new PDR system.
