Career Fair Part 1 - The Set Up
NUS Career Fair Part 1 - The setting up
Yay! I went back to my alma mater today! Although I drive through NUS every morning but today it's different.
I went to MPSH 2. It was for the NUS Career Fair 2008. It will be a 2 day event starting from tomorrow. My company has a booth there. Hee. So Annie and I took a cab down to NUS around 1.30pm to inspect the booth. When I reached there, I was impressed by the work of the design company that we have engaged in. They had done a great job! I think our booth is the nicest as compared to our neighbours and competitors. *grinz*

I was speaking to my colleagues the other day, 'How can we not have any freebies?! NUS students love freebies! There's one standing in front of all of you!' HAHA... Forgive my company as this is the first time we are participating in such event. Hee. We will take note of this in the next career fair at Suntec Convention Centre!

SALE Burberry

Elisa and I went to Burberry's warehouse sale yesterday during lunch time. We had a late lunch yesterday due to the Oracle meeting. It was such a waste of time!
We rushed off once the meeting ended.
We took a cab down to Henderson Industrial Park, which we do not know where the hell it was located. Haha...

As expected, there was a long queue outside the warehouse! OMG! So Elisa and I decided to settle our lunch 1st while waiting for the crowd to clear as we assume that the working class will need report back to office at 2pm.
We settled our lunch at the cafeteria at the industrial building. Every was sold out!! We ended up eating Mee Goreng... Damn spicy! =X
We went back the the warehouse at 2pm and the queue was definitely shorter. Queued for 10 minutes and we managed to get in. WOW! It was damn crowded inside. Actually I didn't want to buy as nothing was to my fancy. BUT....
I accidentally found this jacket! Made in Italy and the original price was $1200 and now $350!!! I think it was quite nice and they had my size! Normally I end up buying nothing during sales as I seldom find things that catches my eye or they do not have my size. So I took this as a sign, telling me to buy this jacket!
Elisa decided to buy 2 skirts which were discounted at $50 each. Haha she liked the skirts alot. Actually she wanted to buy a blazer discounted at $100 but I told her better not. She looked very mature in that. Not for her age. Hee.
The queue for payment was even longer than the queue at the entrance. O.o
We queued for 35 minutes just for payment. While queuing, we kept calling Jean and Jimmy to check if our boss was looking for us or did any big shot called me. It was really a nerve wrecking 'shopping' experience. Managed to settle the payments and we took a cab back to office. Reached the office at 3.20pm. I immediately wore the jacket and Elisa stuffed her skirts in my wristlet, trying to 'hide' the things that we bought. Haha.
Managed to reach our desk without our boss realizing. Hee. We made a pact that this will be the last time that we sneak out during lunch time.

Went CNY house hopping with Wanyui, Jeremy and Ken.
I met Wanyui at the bus stop outside my house and then took a train to Bedok. Ken hopped on the train at Commonwealth MRT station.
Our 1st stop was Jeremy's place. Reached his place around 2.30pm. Chatted for a while and then played Black Jack. Jeremy lost quite a sum to us. Hah.
Next stop was my house. I gave them a quick tour of my house and then my dad sent us to Wanyui's place as my parents had an appointment with their friends.
Played Blackjack at Wanyui's place. Her parents also joined us. They were so lucky! We lost quite a sum to both her parents.
We left her place around 7.30pm. Wanyui drove us to our last stop, which was Ken's place. His dad was having a gathering with his pri sch friends. WOW! Pri sch friends! I lost touch with mine lor! Haha. Ken also introduced me to his aunt. Hee... So happy. *hint hint*
Had BBQ for dinner and then played Blackjack again. Lost quite a sum to Ken. Boo. Sophia came around 9.50pm to contribute to the Tan foundation. Haha.
After that we changed to mahjong. Sophia had her beginner's luck! At the 3rd leg, she won $6.40 from each of us! Haha. She had all the 8 flowers! WTH! After that, she almost won with shi2 san1 yao1!!!! Damn freaky! Haha...
She left around 1am and Ken took over her place. After this, I won $26.40! Hee. Yay, enough to cover my losses. Hee.
Left his place around 3am... Wanyui sent me home and I crashed straight away when I hit the bed.

Vday
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Ken came to pick me up after work. We took cab down to Clarke Quay for dinner. Made reservations for Vday dinner at Bice Bistro.
The food was yummy. Especially the asparagus! My favourite!
The dinner was a 4 course meal but it took us 2 hours to finish. The whole process (eating and serving) was in a very slow and relaxing style.
Walked around after dinner... So many couples that night. Haha... Cabbed home after that. I should have taken leave the next day! Argghhh...
Anyway, had an enjoyable and romantic night with my darling... Hope you'll like the handmade present! Love Love!

Met up with Jennifer at night for coffee. I went to pick her up at Beauty World and then headed for Coffee Bean at Rail Mall.
Also a camwhore even when driving! Haha...
Managed to find the 1st parking lot. Easier to park mah!

I applied for half day leave today. Yay! Went shopping for CNY clothes with my beau.
Met him in town and I spent quite a bomb on clothes and shoes. Ken bought me a pair of gold Adidas sneakers too! Thanks love! Hee... =)
After that, we went to watch 27 Dresses. Not too bad!

Left home with my mum and little sis early in the morning. Mummy and I went to my Godma's house and then my grandma's house when my little sis was attending her class.
After that, mummy sent me to Ken's house in the evening. Watched Death Sentence in his movie room. Ken's friend Nicholas came around 6.30pm and then he drove us to Night Safari. We had a date with their NS friends at Night Safari. How cool!
It wasn't very hot as it rained in the evening. Explored the place and then took the tram ride at the end.

The night ended with the animal show and then supper at The Prata Place. Hee... Yummy! Nicholas sent us home after that. Reached home and crashed.

Today my colleagues and I went to Vivo for lunch at Thai Express. It was a farewell lunch for Wai Har.
After lunch, we went to Giant to buy the CNY decorations as requested by our dear JT.

THERE IS NO WORK FROM TODAY TILL 11 FEB! Haha... Our company will resume operations on Tuesday 12 Feb! Woohoo!
Met up with Wanyui at Bukit Timah Plaza for manicure and pedicure. Haha. I realized that it is fun to do with a friend. I did french mani and pedi. My all time favourite.
Later in the evening, my relatives came to my house for reunion dinner. My uncle came earlier to cook. Yummy!

Today is Chu Yi. Went to my paternal grandma's place around noon to pay our respects. Ate lunch and then played mahjong with my cousins. I won quite an amount! Hee... Thanks to the training sessions that I had with Wanyui, Jeremy and Ken. Haha...
When everybody came, we started playing blackjack. My dad was the banker and he won quite alot from us! Boo...
Everyone came to my house later in the evening. My dad initiated another game of blackjack with my cousins. Again, he won a huge sum from all of us! Tsk!

Today is Chu Er. My family went to my maternal grandma's house to pay our respects. After that, we went to some other relatives' house too. My maternal relatives came to my house later in the evening and then we went for dinner together at Ling Zhi vegetarian restaurant at Liat Towers. Some of my relatives are vegetarian so no choice.

My family went to Sentosa today. Went for the Sentosa Flowers attraction.

It was hot and humid! And crowded too!

After that, we went for a ride at Cineblast. This is the latest attraction at Sentosa.
After that, my dad drove me to Carol's house for our sec sch CNY gathering.

Cabbed down to PS for movie with Ken at 12am. We watched Kung Fu Dunk. Not bad! I love JAY! Hee...
