Firstly, I wana wish all my frenz good luck for your exams! Remember to catch up with me during your school hols k!!!
I am still alive and kicking after going through the dreaded focus grp sessions. Haha. All thanks to my fellow colleagues who sat through with me and giving me support! =) I must say that the sessions conducted over at my side were not very easy. Most of the employees are very demanding and difficult to handle. I will also be assisting SEC's session next week and I will have to travel to sites (eg: KPE, ConTech at Bukit Batok etc). Once again, wish me luck! =P
This entire week was a very hectic and stressful one for almost everyone in HR dept. The focus grp really ate into most of our time and most of us had to stay back after office hours to clear some of the work that should have been done during the day. I seriously hope that the management will look into this matter and schedule focus grp sessions once every 2 years (I know it is impossible)!
After the focus grp project ends, there will be a few others lined up for us, such as D&D, HR Mission and Vision, measuring of KPI, not forgetting the never-ending snowballing recruitment especially after clinching the US$400m JAC project. Well, think of it positively, never-ending recruitment means that we will not be out of job! Haha...
I am looking forward to the food tasting session at Marriott hotel this coming Tuesday!!! Yayness! This is for the coming Annual Company Dinner in December! I am growing to like this job! Muahahaha... And there will be a SCS Recreation Club Bowling tournament this tuesday! I was CONNED into joining! Argggghhhhh!!! I am the only person from HR joining the tournament! Sigh... Hope I won't be ostracized. Haha.

Met up with Ken for dinner at EB. My favourite hangout during uni days... Used to laze in the shop, staring out at the bustling road, leaning against the soft velvety cushion while sipping a cuppa. This is now a luxury that I'm yearning for...
Cuddled together and had a heart-to-heart chat after dinner. All I want to do is to slack there, leaning against him and throw out all work-related thoughts after a day of hectic and stressful work. How I wish time would just standstill at that moment...
EB is really a nice place to chill out at night.

Apologize for sidetracking but I must say that Strawberry and Kiwi flavoured Snapple tasted great! Thanks Elisa for introducing it to me. Now I'm in love with that drink. So is Ken. Hee...
Walked around after dinner and then went to have Ben & Jerry's. I love Chocolate Fudge. Hee...

Today office was full of laughter and life. Finally the Christmas tree has arrived! All of us from HR dept rushed out to the reception to decorate the tree. For the 1st time in my 4 months here, I saw everyone from HR put in effort to do something. We girls were fooling around, camwhoring while Krishnan, Jimmy, Tin Nyut and Kyaw Kyaw were concentrating on the 'project'. Too bad Nancy was not around... I'm sure she would be very excited about decorating the tree too.
Colleagues from other departments also came to look at the tree. In other words, KPO KPO lor. Hee.

Went to Chevron for bowling with Ken and his 2 siblings.
This was my 1st time going out with them. Realised that his sister is quite funny and adorable. We didn't talk much but I suppose down the road, all of us will open up.

After the game, I went to their house. Ate dinner at their place. I was surprised that their relatives were there. I wasn't prepared! Haha.
Ok I gotta go read up and rehearse for my Focus Group tomorrow! I have to conduct a total of 7 sessions for Simon Carves executives from Monday to Tuesday! Wish me luck people! =)

Ken came down to my office to pick me up and we headed to Meridien Hotel for haircut.
I had a haircut, dyed my hair and did a hair treatment. Spent almost 2hours there. Ken finished earlier than me so he had to wait for me. Thanks dear! =)
The scary part was that the bill came up to 214bucks! OMG! My eyeballs almost popped out when I saw the figure on the receipt! Gosh! With that amount I can rebond my hair! Thou shall not return to that salon!
Finished around 9.20pm and we had merely 10mins to walk over to Cine for movie! In the end, we decided to gave the movie a miss and had our late dinner at Long John. Chatted for awhile before sending me home.

Had a 3hr dept meeting from 3pm to 6pm! Wah, shagged!!! Topics covered was Focus Grp, Climate Survey and Company Dinner & Dance. Realized that I had to conduct around 10 sessions of Focus group with presentation this month! Sianz... Those who know me well will know what I am feeling right now. Haha...
Went home for dinner after work and then rushed out to meet Ken for movie.
We went to PS to watch Lust Caution. This was the uncut version!!! My jaws dropped when the erotic scenes were screened. We could see everything except for the important parts. Eh actually, I could see Tony Leung's balls and Ken argued that he caught a glimpse of Tony's dXXX but I didn't. Haha. I was quite shocked. I wonder what was Carina Lau's reaction... Hee.
The show lasted for 3 hours and we walked around in town before heading home.

Happy 58th Month Anniversary love! Love ya loads! =)
Went to Paragon with my mum and little sis as Metro was having a storewide 20% sale! Haha... It was quite crowded and we bought nothing but cosmetics! Haha. I spent 163bucks on cosmetics! Boo I'm spending too much. Must try to cut down before I have to eat grass for the month of November!
After that, we ate lunch at Bakerzin. I was craving for Caesar salad so I ordered 1 together with my favorite Tiramisu! After finishing, I went downstairs to meet Ken. He's craving for Ding Tai Fung. Haha. I had my 2nd round of lunch! Haha... I am such a pig! No lah I ate a little only. =P
Chatted for awhile before heading to Lucky Plaza to play pool. Town's getting boring... After 8 rounds of pool, Ken sent me to OCBC Center to meet my family. We were going to celebrate my grandma's birthday. Seemed like I was one of the earliest people to arrive. Caught up with my cousins and relatives.

Planned some after dinner programs and decided to go to Settlers for games. My aunt also joined us. Haha.
The person intro a new drink called Green tea vanilla to us but my cousin changed it to Green tea Chocolate! Yucks! The person said it looked like drain water. Haha.

We left the place around 1am. My aunt drove us back and my sis and I reached home around 2.30am because some of my cousins live in Sengkang and the other one lives in Woodlands. Haha.
Ok, I gotta slp already. There's work tomorrow! Boo... I'm looking forward to Hari Raya Haji and Christmas! Haha... *in festive mood*

updates
Realized that there's three things that could cheer me up after a day of stressful work.
1) Eating Ikea meatballs! (with loads of gravy)
Just went to eat at Ikea on last Wednesday with my colleagues... Felt damn happy and satisfied after tasting the meatballs and gravy. Mmmmmmmmm... Heavenly...
2)Receive my darling's sms or call.
3) Indulging in Starbucks mocha frappuccino. Hee... It's too expensive so Elisa and I made a pact to remind each other to have only 1 serving per month. Haha...
Anyway, met up with my sec sch clique for dinner and drinks. It was to celebrate Carol's birthday.
I rushed down to Central to meet Elin and Becca for dinner at Coffee Club and then bought Carol's cake.
After that we walked over to The Pump Room to meet Carol and Jingwen.
Carol treated us to drinks! Wooo.... Ordered 2 bottles of white wine and then a Waterfall for Carol and 2 Flaming for Jingwen, Becca and I. Wow, I went high after downing the 'Flaming'. Heh.

Went to the Cold Rock with my family this morning. My mum finally got to try the ice cream. Hee.
The shop was empty... Who eats ice cream early in the morning? Haha...

After eating ice cream, my dad drove us around. Went to explore the newly built KPE tunnel. Part of it was constructed by my Company! *claps* *cheers*
It was quite empty in the tunnel. Where was everyone? Perhaps celebrating Deepavali. Heh.
After that, my dad drove us to catch a glimpse of the tree monkey in Jurong. There was a big hooha about the faces of an adult and baby monkey appearing on the tree trunk.

Oh they were asking for digits from the monkey.
All of us sat in the car as we watched.
Ok, it's bedtime! Gotta work tomorrow. Heh. Nitez everyone! =)
