The biggest calorie-busting activity is shopping!
All the dashing from sale to sale, shop to stop and the trying on of clothes that are 2 sizes too tight is a good workout.
No wonder the tai tais that you see in society magazine look so svelte!
So to my girlfriends out there, this is a perfect excuse to indulge in shopping!
Next time if your beau or guy friends complain that you are bumming around(shopping), just tell them you are exercising! Hee.... =)

Hello my friends! I'm back from Japan! Hee.... Now it's time for me to blog! Erm, I have not sort out my Japan trip photos so I'll just write about what happened the days before I flew off! =)

Met up with my Geog project mates(Eric and Jonny) to go for consultation with T.C. Chang. We were enlightened after the consultation. Hmmmmm.... =)
Kor and I left for YIH as we had an interview course at the NUS Career Centre. Bought Old Chang Kee and ate at the YIH canteen.
Old Chang Kee + Teh for lunch.

Attended the interview course later... The presenter was kinda weird and lame... He likes to sing alot and also 'shared' his long long stories with us! I thought I attended the wrong course... Haha...
After that, kor and I went to Sixth Avenue for dinner. I wana eat my mushroom noodles!!!! Hee... It's damn nice. But when we reached there, the stall was closed... Sobz.... So we had no choice but to eat prawn noodles... Wow, it was nice too! So many yummy food in Sixth Avenue! Hee...

Today is Vday! Hee... Well, I was not really excited or what... Just another normal day...
So what did you guys do?
Went to school in a black dress today... My 1st time wearing a dress to school... Feels kinda weird... Haha... No choice lah cause I'm meeting Piggy at night after school so wana surprise him by wearing a dress(he has not seen me in a dress yet). Hee...
Me in the dress... I can't take a full pic as I do not have long hands. HAHA
Went for Psych tutorial and Joy commented that she only saw a few girls with roses... Well, no comments... Mayb flowers are expensive? Hee.... Time for florists to rip the guys! Heh...
Went to Piggy's house as I need to use his laptop to do my project in order to email it to my proj mates. His bro's gf was there too...
Left his house and headed for Paragon for dinner. Had dinner at Ding Tai Feng... Ate their Xiao Long Bao! Yum... But I think still not good enough... I've ate better ones... =)

Walked around town and then headed for PS... Played at the arcade... Quite fun... I love arcade! =P
Waited for cab at the taxi stand for 1hr plus! We were damn pissed as the queue was long, the cabs were all on call, and the cab lines were engaged! We tried calling cabs for the past 1hr! Managed to leave in a cab around 11pm plus... Wah, I've got a test tomorrow!!! Sian...

Woke up early in the morning to study for my alcohol, drugs and behavior test.
Had a lecture and project meeting before the test. Wasn't feeling too confident for the test. Well, true enough, I made several careless mistakes for the test and I can't recall a few. Sucks!
Rushed home to pack my luggage... Leaving for Fukuoka, Japan at night... Was damn rushed as I have not started packing!
Reached the airport just on the dot for group check-in. Took the 1.30am flight.... Bye Singapore! =(

Happy Valentine's Day people!!!!! Hee.... <3
So what will you peeps be doing later in the day? A romantic night with your beau, gathering with friends or stay at home to nua? Haha....
Anyway, I'm supposed to have a 2hr Alcohol, drugs and behavior tutorial now but it ended 1hr 30mins earlier! WOW! We were surprised that the lecturer let us off so early! He said that his intention was "to let us meditate about the truths behind alcohol, drugs and behaviors" and not to end lesson earlier... So he want us to go meditate somewhere else... Haha... Crap!!!! We were sniggering(including the lecturer) as we packed our bags and preparing to leave.
Yayness!!! Hee... He's such a nice, funny and crappy lecturer!!! I love him man!!!! Hee.... =)
Oh ya, my lecturer also wished us Happy Vday during tutorial and he said that he sent everyone in the class a vday present. So if we don't receive it, our neighbours must have stolen it!!!! Wah lau.... He damn funny can! Hee....

5/02/07 - Monday
Had a hectic day in school. Had to rush from Science fac and then back to arts for back to back lessons. Didn't have time for lunch too... Sigh... I think I'll get gastric problems soon... =(
Something embarrasing happened to me!!! I went to buy the binded lecture notes for Cosmetics and Perfume at the Science Fac Co-op... The shop auntie told me that it costs $7.80... So when I reached for my wallet, I realised that i only have $7! I told the auntie that I'll come back later because I got not enought money but the auntie said she'll give me discount. OMG!!!! So embarrassing lah!!!!
Met up with Eileen, Rebecca and Carol to buy Jingwen's birthday present. Bought her a bag from Far East Plaza... Guess what? We bumped into her while making our way out of the building! Elin was the only one who saw her and immediately called out to her! I was like OMG! Jingwen must be thinking how come we didn't ask her out... Sigh... And I think she saw her present! Sian...
We gave her excuses and then quickly left... Haha... Headed for the Hong Kong cafe at Taka... They should consider giving the VIP card coz I always frequent there. HAha...

Today's my free day and I decided to go shopping with pok pok! Hee... We went to this newly opened shopping centre behind Novena Square called Square. Hee... Why this place? Because they were having opening sale! Hee... Saw that when we went there with our parents 2 days ago. Hee...
Before going there, I went to the post office to collect a registered mail from MOS. I was wondering what did they send to me... I opened it and found a MOS membership card! Hee... Yayness!
Anyway, ate lunch at Han's before walking over to Square. I bought a pair of black pumps(finally bcoz I've been searching for a pair that I fancy since last Nov!!!) and a really nice pink bag(not the bright pink type) for CNY! Felt so happy!!!! Yayness!
Went to town to buy my ribbon belt for my dress at Spotlight. After that pok pok bought her small bag(according to her) at some shop... She took like aeons to decide which color to buy! WTH!!!! Haha.... Walked and took a bus home behind Taka...

Reached school very early today. I was the 1st to reach the LT. HAha...
Had Cosmetics and Perfume project meeting at Science fac after the lecture. Since I had 1hr of free time to kill before the project meeting, I decided to walk around the bazaar... Eh, nothing much to buy... Bleah...
Headed for Science fac.... Reached there 45minutes earlier... Wah, what to do???? I sat in their canteen and stoned lor... My fav pastime... Hah. Observing people who walked past or sat beside me... Also my fav pastime... Project meeting was boring... Heh... Managed to settle everything withing 45mins... HAha... =)

Went to school for my fav lecture... During the lect, Eric told me that they were going for Career Fair at MPSH 1 & 2.... Wah lau, last minute then tell me... Luckily I did not wear sloppily that day...
There were alot of companies but mostly interested in Engine students... Bleah... There were others like HSBC, Maybank, Prudential, Manulife, MINDEF, MOE, MCYS etc.... I was surprised to see Macdonalds there! Haha.... Diao...
After that Jonny, Eric and I went to Clementi for lunch... Late lunch... Ate at Botak Jones! Hee... I think not bad lah... Something funny happened... Well, if u want to know, just ask me lah... Lazy to type.
Met up with Elin and Jingwen at Clark Quay to celebrate Jingwen's birthday. As usual, Becca was lost and we waited 45minutes for her.

Ate dinner at Hooters... I think the food was yummy! Hee... They're famous for their chicken wings. But I think people, especially the guys come here to feast on the Hooters girls. They wore very short orange shorts with a white tank top. Heh heh heh....
After dinner, we went for a drink... We were supposed to go to Kendi Bar but there was a long waiting list so we decided to head for MS... Settled at Tivoli Bar, which is beside OBar... The drinks were cheap... Lawrence came down to join us, or mayb the bday girl... Hee... We ordered Vodka Cranberry, Johnnie Walker, Jim Beam coke, beer and a fruit punch. We drank a little and started playing with the drinks... We mixed all the drinks together and played guessing game. The loser had to drink half of the concoction that we had mixed. I lost 1st and took a sip... Yuck! Haha... Tasted like beer with whiskey and Vodka!!!!
Carol joined us after her work and we continued to play... Quite fun though... Left the place around 12.30am.... Tired...

Happy 49th months anniversary piggy!!!! Love ya loads dear! <3 Met up with Ken at Cine and watched Adrift... After that, went to PS and played arcade. Spent about 30 bucks and 2hrs on the games! Both of us fell in love with a shooting game... Quite fun! I was screaming all the way.. Oops... I was nervous mah... Went to Clark Quay and walked around in the newly opened shopping centre called Central. Nothing much though...

Finally felt better.... Nasal congestion cleared and my throat no longer hurts! Yay! Spent the whole day doing spring cleaning... Now my arms are aching! Realised that I've got so many clothes!!! This is just one wardrobe!
Didn't do my assignments at all!!!! Help! I got tutorial tomorrow!!! Ok lah, need to do my work le.... Take care and till then! =)

Sick
When's the best time to fall sick?
Well, of course during this period when CNY is around the corner(you can't enjoy the new year goodies), when you are going overseas for holiday in a cold country like Japan(sneeze all the way, run out of tissue paper etc) and of course when you have tests and reports lining up back to back(you feel like resting more so that you can recover faster and finish up all these shit but because of that, you have lesser time to complete the shit).
The above senario might be true if I don't recover soon... I usually take quite some time to recover.... I've been sick for 3 days already. Down with flu, blocked ears and nose, slight fever and I sound funny now... Arrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attended my grandpa's birthday dinner today...
啊公, 生日快乐!
It was held at a vegetarian restaurant at Coronation Shopping Centre... Why vegetarian? Because some of my relatives are vegetarians! Sigh... So we had to put up with it...
My grandpa looked happy that everyone came and he kept laughing and smiling! Hee... I was very happy to see that he was enjoying himself. =)
Had an enjoyable time catching up with my cousins too...

Attended a resume writing course by the NUS Career Centre on tuesday with Kor... I think the course was useful. (Actually I felt quite sian as I had to go back to school early in the morning on my free day)
After that ate at a coffee shop along Sixth Avenue... I think the mushroom noodle was fantastic! =)
Yesterday was quite productive. Had Tourism lecture from 12pm-2pm, then rushed to AS2 for Microecons tutorial from 2pm-3pm... After that I had geog project discussion. Was supposed to meet Piggy after my tutorial but had to cancel it last minute due to the meeting... Sorry love!!!
Rush down to Holland V. after my econs tutorial as my project mates wana discuss over there. I was like huh? Why go Holland V.? (Although in that way I'll b able to get home faster... hee..) Anyway, we settled at Essential Brews and we took about 2hrs plus to finish the itinerary. (Side track abit, I think my drink Cranberry Lustre was great! Yum...) We also had a 20% discount off the total bill as Eric was the ex-staff over there. Hee... Yayness! Thx Eric! =)

Rush down to Holland V. after my econs tutorial as my project mates wana discuss over there. I was like huh? Why go Holland V.? (Although in that way I'll b able to get home faster... hee..) Anyway, we settled at Essential Brews and we took about 2hrs plus to finish the itinerary. (Side track abit, I think my drink Cranberry Lustre was great! Yum...) We also had a 20% discount off the total bill as Eric was the ex-staff over there. Hee... Yayness! Thx Eric! =)
