Early bdae celebration wif Paean
Met up with Ken around 1pm to watch the movie called 'My boyfriend is type B' at cineleisure... Before watching, we played pool at Lucky Plaza... Ok fine, he trashed me by 5-3... *bleah*
After sending him to the bus stop, I went to meet Jingwen and Eileen at Wisma... They were shopping for shoes and clothes... Elin ended up buying a pair of shoes at Shaw House... I was crapping all the long... I think they got abit irritated by it... Heh...
Went to meet Paean (Liqing, Ziyi, Jennifer, Bobby and Clement) at Orchard MRT station... They wanted an early celebration for both Clement and my birthday... It was then that Liqing realized that Bobz bdae was somewhere in between ours... Haha... We walked to Far East for dinner... It was some Turkish restaurant called Anatolia... Had to wait for quite some time for the seats... Had difficulty in ordering the food too... Had little knowledge on Turkish food... After finishing, Liqing, Ziyi and Jennifer presented to me, Clement and Bobz our bdae cake... It was made by Liqing and Ziyi... The cake looked kinda wierd but it tasted not bad... Haha... It's a mango and wild berry cake... They also presented our bdae prezzies to us... Thanks alot pals! I appreciated your efforts! =P
As Clement's shirt was too small, we went to change for a bigger size at Samuel and Kelvin, the Lucky Plaza branch... We went to stone at the TCC near Centrepoint. Ordered coffee and took alot of photos there... Chatted too... It was then that I realized that the guy mentioned in Xiaxue's blog was Nana's boyfriend! I was so shocked! Unbelievable! Sigh... Poor guy... Poor Nana... Be strong ok? Don't get too affected by the incident... Your boyfriend would want you to be happy...
Left the place about 10.45pm... My dad came and sent Jennifer home... Hey Jen, if got anything can talk to me ok? Can call my hotline... It's toll free... Wahaha...
Ok, gotta sleep le... Had a long day today... Nitez... Signing off...

tired...
I'm soooo tired... I'll just use a few words and sentences to describe what had happened today...
1hr bus ride to Kembangan Plaza for job interview at 11am, another interview at Faber House, got a job as surveyor/promoter (pay is GOOD), rushed back home coz Eileen wana learn how to bake cheesecake at my house, blisters on my feet due to the new shoes, download Lineage II, scalded my finger, scared by a super big moth and a cockroach, watch Guess x3, still downloading Lineage II, sleep, still downloading Lineage II.... *sigh*

Badminton n shopping
Today I played badminton with Eileen, Hanwei, Shiquan and Benjamin at Hougang Sports Hall... I took quite a long time to travel there... Haha... We played doubles and we crapping at the same time... After that we went to Hougang Mall for lunch... We ate at Magic Wok... The food was delicious... The Tom Yam soup was very spicy! Hee... I think it's because I have low tolerance for spicy food... Went home after that to bathe and then met Eileen and Rebecca to shop for Eileen's clothes... She got a permanent job at Citibank so have to buy clothes which are presentable.
We shopped from 6.30pm to 9.45pm, all the way from Far East to Zara beside Wheelock Place to Shaw House... Tired sia! Haha Elin ended up buying nothing but I bought a pair of shoes, a tube top and a skirt! Hee... I'm so broke now! Really must get a job soon... *sigh*

Movie Marathon
24/05/05 (Tues): Movie Marathon at Joy's house!
Scream scream, laugh laugh, jump jump, munch munch... These were some verbs which could be used to describe the movie marathon at Joy's house... Laugh and munch is common during our Funis outing but why scream and jump? Read on to find out!
Yesterday, Funis (me, Jennifer, Yuyan, Bobz, Jonny, Qinlong, Steven and Jason) gathered at Joy's house for movie marathon cum pot luck. Due to time constraint, we only watched 3 movies namely, South Park, Kungfu Hustle and Ju-on 2... We watched the dvds on Joy's laptop because she dun have a dvd player. South Park was crap lah... Kungfu Hustle was funny... Haha... All the parody and stuffs... And yes, Ju-on 2!! This was partly where the screams came from... Haha... The girls shrieked whenever the ghost (the little powdery looking boy and his bloody mother) appeared. Apparently Bobz was also afraid of horror shows! Haha... He diverted his attention by using his handphone and also by walking around and up the stairs... Haha...
Ok now it's about FOOD! Yum!! Had pot luck... Bobz made green curry, yuyan made milo and egg sandwich, Joy supplied us with hashbrown and bee hoon, Qinlong bought nuggets, Jennifer, Jason and Steven bought chips, Jonny bought liquor and I made cheesecake! Hee... Bobz curry was spicy but it was nice... YUM! He was talking about how tender the breast was... Oops, chicken breast I mean... Haha...
After that, we sat at Joy's yard sharing ghost stories while drinking Bailey's... It was strong but I liked the aftertaste... Hee... Too bad I had to leave early... Sent Qinlong and Jennifer home... Heard from Bobz that they went high after we left... Joy unscrewed a bottle without a cap!!! Haha... It's Joy lah... Haha... =P

23/05/05 (Mon): Cycling at Pulau Ubin
That day was a public holiday because Vesak Day was on Sunday. My family, aunt and cousin went to Pulau Ubin to cycle... First we went to Jalan Kayu for breakfast at a prata stall... The food was nice but we had to wait 45mins before they served our food...
When we reached Changi Village, we realised that they had built another jetty. It was nicer and there were security checks... Realised that Singaporeans have no place to go during holidays because there were so many people leaving for Ubin! As my mum didn't cycle for 20 years, she has forgotten how to cycle... So she had to be stationed near our starting point to practise cycling... Wei Wei shared the same bike as my dad... You know, those bicycle with a child seater...
Off we go, with my dad in front leading us... We cycled and explored the place... Cycled to the Thai temple and we rested there... The weather was darn hot that day... After my dad and aunt prayed, we left for the beach... As usual my dad cycled in front of us and I was the 2nd behind him... Suddenly I heard a screeching sound from my dad's bike followed by my little sister's cries... I knew something bad has happened! We stopped immediately and I went over to check it out... My little sister's foot was caught in the wheel... She suffered from abrasion and there were bruises around it. She was wailing so loudly that other cyclists stopped and helped us to calm her down...
The island police officers happened to drive past us and stopped to offer to send my little sister back to the jetty... But when my little sister knew that the police officers wanted her to board their vehicle, she went berserk and cried even louder, refusing to leave with them... I think it's due to the threats that my dad used on her about how the police will catch her and lock her up if she doesn't behave herself... Classical conditioning! Haha...
Because of this accident, we called the day off... Sigh... We went back to the jetty and cleaned my sister's wound and went for lunch at a country club near the jetty... The food wad good! Hee... After that, we sent aunt and cousin home and I went to Ken's house to watch shows while my dad sent my sister to the clinic for checkup... What a day man!

Cheesecake 2
Today Jennifer came over to my house to learn how to bake cheese cake from me... Hee... She helped me with the crushing of the biscuit crumbs and mixing of the cream cheese... Hee... We watched 6th sense at the same time... Haha...
Anyway, I saw quite a few cute guys today... o_O Eye candies!! Haha... I saw them during a performance... One of them was the performer himself and the others were the audiences... Hee...

Maybeline pang seh us!
What a tiring day... Met Jennifer, Jingwen and Rebecca at 10.30am for a job interview at Winsland House. It's some Maybeline promoter at a roadshow. I received a phone call from Wen when Jen and I were making our way to Somerset MRT station... It was a bad news...
Wen: 'Hey Xin, the agency called 5mins earlier and said that the interview is cancelled because the interviewer couldn't make it back to Spore in time.'
Me: 'WTH?! Jennifer and I are reaching le lor! How can they be so irresponsible? They should have at least called us like 2hrs before hand!'
Wen: 'Ya duno them lah... So how?'
Me: 'Heck care lah! We just head down to the office and ask if anyone can interview us since we are already here...'
Jennifer was stunned throughout the phone conversation... Haha... Sickening! I purposely changed my next interview at Jurong East from 2pm to 4pm for the sake of this interview! Sigh... When we reached there, the staff told us that the person in-charged is not back and requested us to come back tomorrow... So we filled in our particulars and we were briefed by the consultant about the job scope and also the company's history... After all these, we were told to come back for another round of interview conducted by the person in-charged tomorrow at 10am. Sian... Must wake up so early again... Yawnz... Waste my time man! I really hope that Cafe Cartel will reply me soon! Really want this job coz I can continue even after school starts...
After that, Jen left us and the rest went to PS for lunch... We ate at Long John Silver and crapped there to kill time coz I'm bringing Wen and Becca for the Cafe Cartel interview later at 2pm. After the Cafe Cartel interview, Wen and I accompanied Becca to meet this 'fren' of hers... Actually he's not her fren... Hmmm sounds complicated right? Nevermind... Actually Becca didn't want to meet him but he pestered her for a very long time already, so she had no choice but to meet him for tea... We came up with a plot in which Wen and I pretended to be Becca's cousins and we would have to ask her to leave with us after meeting the guy for 15mins... Haha... An excuse so that she can leave... Haha... Btw, the guy looked disgusting... Haha... Got a hum sup look... Haha... Oops!
Took bus 105 and I finally reached Jurong East around 4.10pm... Where's JTC Summit? So difficult to find the building... Walked for 15mins and I finally found it! Walked in and I was immediately stopped by the security guard. I had to exchange for a visitor's pass... So troublesome! Took a lift up to the 30th storey and found the agency.... Recruit Express! So damn crowded! Filled in a form and was interviewed by my agent Shernice... Left the building around 4.55pm...
Ok lah, think I'll stop here... Gotta sleep early coz tml still got 2nd interview by the maybeline thingy... Sian... Nitez... =P

Job Hunt
Wah stressed! Today I went out with Jennifer and we went for job hunt at International Plaza. We visited at least 5 job recruitment agencies but to no avail... We were told to leave our particulars, send our resume and wait for further reply from them. We got a shock when we saw the so-called waiting list of applicants... There was a long list of names, mostly from NUS and NTU! Sigh... Looks like what Jingwen said was true... The temp-job market is currently saturated! Super saturated!
Fortunately, Jennifer saw this Cafe Cartel recruitment advertisement. So we headed down to Raffles City for the interview. As usual, we have to wait for at least 1 week for the results. After the interview, Jen and I thought that this job might be interesting afterall... Hee... We were very excited about it. On our way home, Jingwen told me that she has a lobang! Fortunately, Jennifer saw this Cafe Cartel recruitment advertisement. So we headed down to Raffles City for the interview. As usual, we have to wait for at least 1 week for the results. After the interview, Jen and I thought that this job might be interesting afterall... Hee... We were very excited about it. On our way home, Jingwen told me that she has a lobang! Joy's belated bdae celebration and cycling trip
13/05/05: Joy's belated birthday celebration
Actually Ken and I were supposed to play squash on saturday but he last minute cannot find the ball... Sigh... In the end, we went to town for dessert and walked around while waiting for Joy and the rest. We met Bobz and Jonny in the Guess shop at Taka... Haha, that was the first time they saw Ken! After self-intro, we began to choose Joy's wallet. We finally settled with a pink Guess wallet.
After sending Ken off, I met the the rest at Heeren. We were thinking of eating at Marche but ended up at Billy Bombers. We chatted while waiting for Jennifer to arrive... Loads of crap came out from Jonny's mouth... (-_-") Haha... Upon Jennifer's arrival, we ordered food and also handed over Joy's prezzie... She was astonished to see the Guess paper bag, but never would she have noticed that we had switched the contents in the bag. Haha... After realizing that it wasn't the wallet that she wanted, she immediately knew that something's wrong, pestering Bobz to give her the wallet... Haha... Smart! Indeed, was she very delighted to see the wallet! We took alot of photos while eating... Haha... As usual, we sat there and crap after finishing the food. Wah, damn lame lah! We were laughing very loudly and took candid shots which attracted unwanted attention and glares from other diners.
We walked to Paragon and took photos with the statues... The silly poses and laughter again attracted curious passerby to stop and take a look... Hee...
I had a great time with you guys man! Hee... I just love crapping with all of you!

14/05/05: Cycling Trip with Ken, Peng, Junwen and Jeremy @ East Coast Park
I rushed down to Orchard mrt station to meet Ken and Peng because we wanted to share cab to East Coast Park. Met Junwen at EC Mac. We ate our lunch and proceeded to rent the bikes without Jeremy because he'll be joining us around 4pm. We cycled from the Mac to somewhere near National Sailing Centre. In between, we stopped and rest at the Bedok Jetty. I took some photos on the way too... We had to cycle back around 4.10pm because slow-poke Jeremy just reached the Mac. Haiz... Cycle like mad lor... We took about 1 hr to cycle to and fro.
After returning the bikes, we went to rest in the mac. The guys chatted about their army lives and I was almost bored to death! Heh... But later we talked about ba pok(transvestite). Because of that, we decided to settle our dinner at Changi Village so as to see them... Haha... Actually, it's my idea lah... Curious mah... *wink wink*
We reached Changi Village after a long bus journey... I was feeling sick by then... Having fever and flu... *sob* We ate at the hawker center... I ate the ba chor mee... Very nice! Except that Ken forgot that I don't take spicy stuffs and ordered chilli... I had difficulty finishing the noodles without gulping bandung at the same time... *sheesh* We left the place quite early because I was feeling unwell... Sigh, didn't have a chance to take a look at the ba poks... But nevermind, I enjoyed myself... Let's do it again some other day k? Hee... =P
