Mid Sem Break
Mid sem break just ended... How I spent my week? Haha.. I spent my entire holidays doing research for my developmental psych essay assignment. I even ended up in Woodlands NLB because someone misplaced a reference book that I needed in Central Library(NUS)! But I managed to finish the essay and submited it on time... Hee... Hope I can get a proper grade for that because I put in alot of effort.
Went to watch Hide and Seek with Ken on Tuesday at Lot 1. Wah the movie suck lor!! Wasted my money man!! Sigh, should have heeded my sister's advice in the first place...
Watch another show on Sunday with Ken at Cineleisure.... A Moment to Remember... Wah... It's a very romantic and touching movie... I was crying during the 2nd half of the show.. 2 pieces of tissue papers were definitely not enough for me.. I saw others crying too but I'm like the worst! Ken's feedback to me was that I was jerking while crying... Ya I agree with him.. Please, don't think it's something XXXXXXX.... Haha... I was trying to breathe while crying thus resulted on the jerky sensation that the people sitting around me felt. Other than My Sassy Girl, I think this is another Korean show that I love... Hee.. Joy you should go watch that show man! Guys should bring their girlfriends to watch this movie.. I'm sure after watching this show, both of you will treasure each other more... HEE... =P
Today's my sister's 17th birthday! Pssssst.... Actually she's only 4 years old because her birthday supposed to be on the 29th February.... Because only every 4 years have one 29/02, therefore we celebrate her birthday on the 28th when there's no 29th. Hee... Bought a blue wrist watch for my sister as birthday present... Hee.. Hope she'll like it... =P

Chingay
Went to Orchard library to meet my friend but who knows? All the seats were taken and there's an event going on... So we changed the venue to Thomson Plaza.. Haha.. Ate lunch at the food court and then proceeded to StarBucks.
We left for Orchard around 4.30pm... Wana go town earlier to have our dinner and then go watch Chingay.. Hee.. One of our friends was performing so wana go support him.. We even joked that he's going to come out in a Barney costume.. Wahaha... Some joke of ours... It's ok if you don't understand. Heh.
Ate our dinner at Aijisen(taka). It was my virgin attempt and wow was their ramen tasty! Yum! Heh.. After that walked to Borders coz we wanted to visit the friend of ours before the Chingay starts. This was a wasted trip coz we can't cross over the road to the participator's area. Damn it! So we decided to head down to the performing area outside Taka.. We reached there around 7pm... Realised that the event will start at 8pm! Oh no, we'll have to stand and wait for 1hr! Even though it's 1hr before the performance starts, the crowd has started to form.. Given our strategic location, we should be able to see the performance.. Maybe coz I'm too short so I can't see.. Argghhh!! Time passed very slowly.. Looked at my watch and realised it was only 7.30pm.. My legs had started to ache!
After 1hr of patient waiting and anticipation, the event finally started! It started by lighting 33 firecrackers! The sound was deafening as my friend and I were standing near it.. I managed to take a picture of it before covering my ears..
The floats were beautiful! All the bright colours and stunning performance.. Especially the part where the dragon climbed up a pole.. Think the pole was about 6m? If not higher... The funniest part was the 6m tall rooster.. My friend and I were thinking how was it going to cross over without hitting the arch. Haha... Then my friend said that it will become a headless chicken after hitting the arch.. Wahaha.. But after seeing the rooster, we knew the reason why it could cross over without losing its head... It was lying down! Wahaha... So crappy.. =P
The whole event lasted for about 3hrs.. Gosh! That was how long we stood there! My legs were giving way already.. Must find a place to sit immediately! We went to the KFC in Cineleisure and had a drink too.. After that, we decided to watch a movie.. Later my sister came with a friend to join us.. Haha.. Reached home around 2.30am... Wah damn tired! Zzzzzz

I've passed my driving test! I'm so happy! Hee... Can drive to sch le! Hee... After my driving test, I went to sch for Health Psych tutorial... The TA was very interesting! His name is Jansen Ang.. Haha... Think besides Timothy, he is the other TA that I'll like... Haha... Oh, dun get the wrong idea.. He's married with 2 kids le... haha...

Today, I went out with Liqing... Hee... Since it was too early in the morning and the shops were not opened, we decided to go to Orchard Library... After that I went back to my aunt's house around 3pm because we will be having reunion dinner. My cousin and his family came to my aunt's house around 6.30pm and dinner started at 7.15pm. Wow, there was abalone, prawns, fish etc... Yummy! Went to Chinatown with my uncle around 12am. Fireworks welcomed us as we made our way to the crowded streets of Chinatown. People were pushing their way through the crowd and the air was still.. People mountain people sea was the only thing to describe how it was like over there. One can even smell and feel the perspiration of the person next to you... Yucks!

Happy Lunar New Year! Called my parents early in the morning to bai nian.. Hee.. They were in Sydney already and were visiting the Opera House... *evny* My relatives and cousin came to my aunt's house in the afternoon to bai nian and also just in time for lunch! Teehee.. After lunch, we played Black Jack... Haha, one of my cousin lost 14bucks... Heh... Btw, ang bao collection was terrible... Sigh... Think it's because my parents were not around... I miss them....

Today is the 2nd day of CNY known as Chu(1) Er(4). Hee... Went to watch Constantine with a fren of mine... After that went to take a cable car to Sentosa because we were too bored and there's nothing to do in town... Sigh... Town is getting boring... There was a massive influx of tourists at that time so we had to squeeze with the tourists either in the Sentosa bus or the monorail...

Went back home today to collect my Developmental Psych lect notes... Lect starts at 2pm so must hurry back home to print the notes... Heh.. After the lect, I went back home to slack before meeting my aunt to pick up my parents from the airport. My parents realised that one of their luggage was missing... Dun worry guys, they got it back the next day... From what I've heard from them, the luggage was on it's way to London.. Wahaha..

Went to my grandparents' house to bai nian.. After that, I met up with Ken to watch I Do I Do... The show was nice... Walked around Orchard after that... Bumped into Ken's mum! I hid behind the pillar immediately... You must be thinking why right? It's because I'm shy and also afraid of his mum... Wahaha.... Wanted to play pool but it was full house... Ended up going home around 9.30pm... Btw, Happy 20th Birthday my dear Jingwen! Hee.... *throws confetti*

Went to a function organised by my dad's geomancer... It was quite interesting... Chew Chor Meng was one of them... Awwwww... Went house hopping after that.. Went to my 1st and 2nd uncle's house... Felt very tired after all those travelling and munching.... Eeks! I feel fat!

Happy Valentines and Friendship Day! Woke up early in the morning to bake muffins... Ended up late for JS tutorial and a blister on my finger... *ouch* Had lunch with my clique at The Deck. Before they could buy their food, I gave them the muffins that I've made... Actually wana make cookies for them coz it's my forte, but wana try something new... So my 1st attempt for muffins was not that good... The feedback that I've received was that it tasted ok but abit sticky.. Haha.. Think I added too much water.. Wahah.. Think next time I should stick to my forte then... Heh..
I noticed that the atmosphere in campus was different today. I think it's because love is in the air... I could see couples holding hands and some with roses wherever I go.
Met Ken after that around 3pm.. We went to play pool and watched the movie, A Very Long Engagement. We settled our dinner in Tang's basement... We bought Yakitori, You Tiao, Otak, Soya Bean drink etc and stood there eating... My legs were aching after 30mins of standing.. Haha.. I think they should have tall chairs to complement the tall tables so that people like us don't need to stand while eating.. Despite that, I had fun coz it's something that I've never tried before...

I've been driving to school for these past few days... Haha... So fun! I love driving! Can save energy from walking to the bus stops and also save the trouble from squeezing in the bus with people... Actually in another words, I'm lazy... Wahaha... Oops.. Hee... Oh ya, something happened today which made me pissed off... It all happened during Biology lecture...
I was early so I chope seats for Jonathan and Joo Chuan (my union fren), but Joo Chuan came 10mins before the lecture started and Jonathan was very late.. The lecture had already started but I still dun see Jonathan around... So, I was happily talking to Joo Chuan when all of a sudden, this black, fat and hairy ball came rolling and wanted to make herself comfortable on the seat beside me... Oops, sorry if I sounded too crude or something... But I just can't help it. Below was the conversation between us...
Me: "Excuse me, the seat is taken."
BFHB (black fat hairy ball): "Oh! By whom?"
Me: "By my friend."
BFHB: "So where is your friend?"
Me: "He's going to be late." (duh?)
BFHB: "Oh ok!"
And then she sat down like nothing had happened!
Me: "Hey I told you the seat is taken! Can you please look for another seat?"
BFHB: "Oh but I came first! Tell your friend to come earlier next time!"
Me: (already fuming) "But there are so many vacant seats around! Why can't you just sit infront?"
BFHB: "Hmmm then perhaps you should tell your friend to sit infront."
What the HELL!!! She's being unreasonable!
Joo Chuan heard us and he told me that we should shift in one seat for Jonathan. I wanted to yell at her but the lecturer was yaking away so... Haiz... I had to force everything back down into my stomach. Inside me, I was cursing and swearing.. I've never been so angry since Sem 1. Right guys? *urgghhh* Fine... Let her have it!
Told Jonathan after he came... He also couldn't take it... He purposely said the word ATTITUDE loudly for her to hear.. Haha.... So funny...

Wad happened tis wk
Finally bought my clothes for CNY! Hee... I bought 2 skirts and 3 tops... Actually I think they are more suitable for sch than for CNY.. Wahaha... Spent less than $200 for all.. Was fun shopping with Liqing. Heh..
Think I'll be bogged down by projects during this festive season. I guess u peeps out here are facing this problem too right? Sigh, what to do? Met up with bobz and the rest of the JS project group members at Bras Basah mac to discuss the project. All were involved except _______. Haha... Joy, I'll let u fill in the blanks. Went to Raffles City for dinner after that.. Ate something soupy.. Hee.. Yum! After that, went to look for bob's Stussy shirt and running top. He ended up buying nothing.. Luckily he didn't ended up buying highlighters.. Wahaha...
Watched Flight of the Phoenix with Ken that day... Wah the show was awesome! I liked the crashing effect... Hee.. You guys must go watch it! A terrific one! Enjoyed Ken's company... Heh.. Long time never see him le..
My parents left for Australia on sat evening... Sob!! I was surprised that I actually teared when we said our good-byes.. I'm quite emotional ok? Fine, if you guys insist that I'm a crybaby... Just like what Ken had said.. Haha.. They left me all alone here while they enjoy themselves over there! Actually not alone coz my dad left me under my aunt's care.. Wahaha.. Hope they are having a fun time over there WITHOUT ME... Hmmph.. Hee...
Ok lah, gotta sleep le... Very tired..
