Love
I used to love a boy named J.M Tan who many said that he is not very handsome. But he has a girlfriend named Jolene Lam. I met him in the classroom B21B from Geylang Methodist Secondary School. The students there judged by the look whether be it a girl or a boy. But I managed to meet a good friend named FZR who is really good looking. I am not disappointed by him because he has a very nice name and a face that I really envy and he has many friends of many races. But I am jealous of his girlfriend whose name is Lauretta Fletcher. She is so beautiful.

Bitterness in a relationship
I came to realise that I can't handle relationships that well. Especially BGRs. I am bitter in facing rejection but I am slowly coming to terms to it. It is better to have friends than to have a boy friend who have never once loved me. I am emotionally drained out because I like this guy back in secondary school. But I regret confessing to him and breaking his relationship with his girlfriend. But the thing my classmate like her a lot, which till now I still cannot understand when he has a more beautiful girl hankering after him. But because of that, I lost his friendship, which is not worthwhile. But I really wanted love but I cannot find. I remember confessing to the guy that I like a lot in the romantic way but never really being too aggressive. But the thing, I still loved him a lot. I am hurting right now. But how do I stop the hurt?

Schooling
My classmates were very spiteful, thinking that they can get away from it. I am happy that I am able to get the spitefulness from them. They always think that the school belongs to them. There will always be people who can see through them. I know it is natural to go with people who are good looking. But they have the brains. It is good to make them go under scrutiny. They even judge by the look whether they are of a different race. Some of them have relationships that are unhealthy, causing emotional instability. But, on self-reflection, I envy. That is my nature. I miss making my bags. I miss my apples. I miss my boyfriend and girlfriends.

Tiredness
I just came back from a trip to Israel. The trip is inspiring as I finally got to see the Jordan River and seeing people getting baptised there by a pastor from AMK Methodist church. The church members are really rich. But the thing is the trip is supposedly to be a pilgrimage trip. I manage to pray in the temple of God in the right position. I saw rabbis and Jews from the Messianic period. It is as though the Holy Bible comes to life. The trip is really hectic as it is a tour package. But I feel tension in that country as I even saw Palestinian soldiers. The thing that impressed me most is that I get to float on the Dead Sea which is supposedly the saltiest sea in the world. The thing is that I am expected to apply the famous black mud from on my face and legs. As I float, I did not feel the peace. I prayed for Jerusalem and I visited Bethlehem, the supposedly birth place of Jesus Christ.
Actually the trip is good and the fact that I have not travelled to overseas for so long. I am inspired to write a song called the Doxology. Anyway people had prayed for me before the trip. What happened ? I fell down and injured my foot, specifically my toe which is bruised and with clotted blood. The best thing is that I discover myself again. I envy my classmates who are very normal looking but they could not find love because love must be discovered. Like I did a very long time ago, I loved the guy named J.M a lot. I thought that I had forgotten him because I took a major decision to break up with him.

My trip to Israel
I once loved a guy named J.M but it is in the past. My mother sponsored me to do the trip to Israel which is very expensive. I ended up buying things which I do need. It is well with my soul. In my heart, I just want to go to church and get baptised in the Jordan river. What did I see ? I saw myself wanting to jump into the river and baptising myself. It was inspiring.

Calling
I find myself that I had no calling for any ministry because I haven't been going to church. There were people who had stumbling blocks in my life. I got on to a ministry that I had no feeling for. I only go for the sake of Pentecost Methodist. People always ask me to pray to God. But I am not a pastor. I am totally defenceless. I did try but only to be goaded by the principal. My father had passed away for almost 4 years now. My mother just prostitute herself in front of the mirror. My sisters had just gone their own ways. I wanted the family united but it is not possible. I needed to pray for spiritual warfare again.
Day 25: Calling
Day 25: Calling
30 Day Guide for New Believers by John Beckett
How can I serve God in my work?
Our primary calling is always to Christ. Os Guinness in The Call says, “First and foremost we are called to Someone (God), not to something…or to somewhere.” But he adds that God also calls us vocationally. His plan for us includes our work.
As a young believer I thought that to fully serve God I had to go into some type of “full-time” Christian work. Yet my interests and background pointed toward engineering and business. When I asked the Lord for guidance, I sensed Him saying, “John, I’ve called you to business. Do it with all your heart.”
Many Christians struggle to know their calling. Our culture incorrectly differentiates between “sacred” and “secular,” asserting that sacred activities are nobler. Neither Jesus nor His followers held this view. A. W. Tozer, in The Pursuit of God, says, “The sacred-secular antithesis has no foundation in the New Testament.”
God calls people to many honorable endeavors—from education to engineering, from farming to factory work, from raising children to running a company. The challenge is to keep our activities in harmony with God’s design, rather than in opposition to that design.
To gain vocational clarity, consider: What are my talents? What do I enjoy? How have my education and experiences equipped me? Where do I sense God’s pleasure? Work goes beyond the paycheck. Find where God has called you, and do it to the best of your ability.
Key Verse
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men”
Colossians 3:23

food blog
I absolutely love food and love cooking and mainly get my ingredients from the supermarket NTUC Fair price. They have the good variety of food selection ranging from meats to various cheeses and vegetables. Recently I prepared steamboat with my mum and sisters. It can be quite a hassle especially when my sisters are fussy about food. Unfortunately that equates to having to deal with food allergy.

A spiritual journey
The renewed mind
I need to re-align my life for the next 3 months. I need the time to be quiet so as to learn to pray and writing down thoughts and actions.
The Lord doesn’t want you to set your mind aside when you come to Him. Just the opposite. He created your mind and wants it fully productive, but in the right way. He wants it renewed. Don’t stop thinking, but start thinking and viewing things from His perspective.
I need to re-align my life for the next 3 months. I need the time to be quiet so as to learn to pray and writing down thoughts and actions.
What does it mean to renew my mind?
If it hasn’t happened already, you will find yourself struggling with wrong thoughts and ideas. I know. Though I’ve walked with Christ for many years, there are still times that I find myself wrestling with such attitudes as selfishness, pride and lack of trust.
How fortunate for us that Jesus Christ will help us change our thought life. That doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it is possible. The Apostle Paul describes the change process this way: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” - Romans 12:2.
A great way to begin is to meditate on the Scriptures. Take the verses mentioned so far in these studies, reflect on them, even memorize them. Scripture memorization is perhaps the most powerful way to discipline and renew your mind. Why not begin right now? Today’s Key Verse (below) is a wonderful “mind-renewing” scripture. Repeat it often, making it your companion throughout this day.
Key Verse
“Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things”
Philippians 4:8

A SPECIAL MESSAGE
From Mike Evans the founder of the Jerusalem Prayer Team
Dear Chingmei,
I remember how awful it was to go to bed hungry, night after night, as a boy growing up in the projects. I remember lying there in my room and wondering, "Why doesn't anybody care?" Today, there are tens of thousands of poor people in Israel going to bed hungry and asking that same question. Will you help us show them that someone does care with your gift for the Jerusalem Prayer Team today?
As Jewish people around the world celebrate Sukkot--the Feast of Tabernacles (or Booths)--just a few days from now, a big part of the observance is feasting. Yet, for so many hungry poor Holocaust survivors in Israel, this is no time of joy and happiness. Tragically, for thousands and thousands of poor Jewish people, hunger is a reality of daily life. And at a special time like this, it hurts even more.
The people of Israel desperately need our help today. The Jewish state is surrounded by enemies on every side. The world continues to do nothing while Iran gets closer and closer to having nuclear weapons. It would be a military, economic, political, and social tragedy...but worse, it would bring down the curse and judgment of Almighty God on every nation that does not bless Israel in this crisis moment.
Will you stand in the gap for Israel today? The prophet Isaiah wrote of hearing God's question: "Whom shall I send and who will go for us?" Isaiah answered, "Here am I, send me." What will your answer be today?
In addition, your gift today will equip us to finish our work on the Friends of Zion Heritage Center, Israel's first museum telling the story of Christian love that will open in just a few months. This great lighthouse of love will shine brightly from Jerusalem all around the world.
DONATE NOW: https://secure.etransfer.com/JPT/CerfiticateJadeGlassPrem.cfm?dn=1032&commID=690202983&ID=1226092
For your gift of $100 or more we will send you a Certificate of Appreciation with a presentation folder for you. This recognition will show everyone who sees it that you are a committed friend of Israel and the Jewish People.
With your gift of $250 or more, you will receive a beautiful Jade Glass Tribute to commemorate your gift. This stunning piece recognizes your support in making the Friends of Zion Heritage Center a reality. It will be a wonderful addition to your home or office, and demonstrate to everyone who sees it your willingness to stand with God's Chosen People. If you are able to send a gift of $500 or more, we will send you a personalized version of the glass tribute with your name engraved on it. (Jade Glass 7.75" tall x 5.125" wide x 2.5" deep; etched with artwork).
Perhaps you would like to do even more. If you are able to send a gift of $1000 or more, we will send you a large silver-trimmed, museum-quality shofar. I have one of these ancient trumpets in my office, and it is a constant reminder of God's calling for us to "Sound the trumpet in Zion." I know you will be thrilled to display this piece from the heritage of our faith. (Measures between 27" - 31" along the curve)

Finnish education
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8601207.stm
Finland's schools score consistently at the top of world rankings, yet the pupils have the fewest number of class hours in the developed world.
By Tom Burridge
BBC World News America, Helsinki |
Last year more than 100 foreign delegations and governments visited Helsinki, hoping to learn the secret of their schools' success.
In 2006, Finland's pupils scored the highest average results in science and reading in the whole of the developed world. In the OECD's exams for 15 year-olds, known as PISA, they also came second in maths, beaten only by teenagers in South Korea.
Education in South Korea
In South Korea, the school day is long and pupils have a much stricter study regime.
|
This isn't a one-off: in previous PISA tests Finland also came out top.
The Finnish philosophy with education is that everyone has something to contribute and those who struggle in certain subjects should not be left behind.
A tactic used in virtually every lesson is the provision of an additional teacher who helps those who struggle in a particular subject. But the pupils are all kept in the same classroom, regardless of their ability in that particular subject.
Finland's Education Minister, Henna Virkkunen is proud of her country's record but her next goal is to target the brightest pupils.
''The Finnish system supports very much those pupils who have learning difficulties but we have to pay more attention also to those pupils who are very talented. Now we have started a pilot project about how to support those pupils who are very gifted in certain areas.''
My thoughts on this topic on Finland's education system:
Having the brightest pupils is not necessarily a good thing because there is such a thing as favouritism of the teachers. It would be good to let all pupils to take the psychological test known as DICE. The best thing is that many parents would put their children into the top schools. I am one good example of that.

My journal
Today my mother destroyed my journal which was taken from the church camp organised by Pentecost Methodist church in June this year. Inside was my inner thoughts and some not-too-truth diary entries. I am suing Geylang Methodist Secondary school for good because of the hurt done to my church friends from PMC. I am being beaten up by them unknowingly. The psychological hurt is done. Some things cannot be undone.

I found this Youtube video by accident about Boys' Brigade. Years ago, I watched the parade of boys at the company of Boys' Brigade. Now my father had passed away for almost 4 years now. This research is in honour of my dad.

How to keep your hair in good state
I read this news article from Yahoo! which I find the topic interesting. It is about bathing your hair in water and maintain hair in a good state of health. I always have this habit of washing my hair in this brand of shampoo called Pantene with the function of getting rid of dandruff. Dandruff is actually contagious, worse than ticks. Once dandruff gets into your hair, it is extremely difficult to get rid of it. The cause of spread is through contaminated combs. That is why I make an effort not to share combs with anybody. The combs must be washed at least every 2 weeks with soap and warm water with the purpose of sterilising.
EN Beauty - There are some things that we do without thinking about it. Washing our hair is one of them. But while we assume that using the latest shampoos can give us beautiful hair, it can actually be detrimental to our tresses, according to organic hairdresser Tabitha James Kraan. She believes that hair responds better when you use a cleaner product which doesn’t contain the chemicals that many shampoos today do.
“It’s become habitual to use shampoo. Hair’s like our skin, it should always have a slight sheen on it to protect it,” she explained. “Shampoo is a detergent and it’s designed to get rid of oil. It strips it away and leaves very little on the strands. The consequence of this is that we are left with hair that has lost its protective layer. Under the microscope hair looks like fish scales and they should be closed and smoothed. But shampoo lather buffs that up, so it won’t move as freely, it won’t shine and will be much more reactive to moisture. A lot of shampoos are full of silicones to combat this but it’s all completely fake.”

Question about faith

Q. Why does God allow tragedy and suffering?
A. You see it all over the news: wildfires, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes – as well as senseless shootings, acts of terror and wars. In addition, there is the everyday pain in individual lives: illness, abuse, broken relationships, betrayal, sorrow, injuries, heartache, crime and death.
People are suffering all around us. And many ask, “Why? Why did God allow this?”
Jesus predicted these things would happen in our sin-stained world. Unlike some religious leaders who wrote off evil and suffering as mere illusions, Jesus dealt with reality. He said in John 16:33, “You will have suffering in this world.”
But, again, why? I cannot stand in the shoes of God and give a complete answer, but we can understand some things.
To illustrate, Leslie and I were driving from Chicago to Door County, Wisconsin. It was dark when it started raining heavily, and then we hit dense fog. I could barely see the line on the edge of the highway, and didn’t know what to do. Then a truck went by us, traveling at a confident and deliberate pace. We could see his taillights through the fog, and realized that if we could just follow those lights, we'd be headed in the right direction.
It is similar with tragedy and suffering. We may not be able to make out all the peripheral details of why, but there are some biblical truths that can illuminate some helpful points of light for us. And if we’ll follow those lights, they will lead us toward conclusions I believe can satisfy our hearts and souls. Let me mention five that I've found helpful:
• First point of light: God is not the creator of evil and suffering
Genesis 1:31 says everything God made “was very good.” But if God is not the author of evil, then where did it come from? God created us with free will so we could love him – because real love always entails the ability to love or not to love. Unfortunately, we abused our freedom by rejecting God’s love and walking away from him. And that resulted in the introduction of evil into our lives and into the world.
• Second point of light: Though suffering is not good, God can use it to accomplish good
Romans 8:28 promises: “In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Notice it doesn't say that God causes the evil and suffering, just that he will cause some kind of good to emerge. And it doesn't say we will see immediately or even in this life how God has brought good out of the bad circumstance – just that it will happen for those of us who love him.
• Third point of light: The day is coming when suffering will cease and God will judge evil
“If God has the power to vanquish evil and suffering,” people ask, “then why doesn't he do it?” But just because he hasn't done it yet doesn't mean he won't do it. The Bible says the day will come when sickness and pain will be eradicated and people will be held accountable for the evil they've committed. Justice will be served.
Also, “the Lord is not slow in keeping His promise … he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). In other words, God hasn’t vanquished evil yet because he’s waiting to first reach some of us!

1 Rule to a Fat Stomach ' by Channelnewshealth. The article talks about the Camborgia diet which seems to be popular with the ladies. But my wish is to lose weight around my stomach and maintain my weight below 50 kg or else I will be overweight for my age. I want to try this diet fad to see if it works on Asian women.
1 Tip of a Flat Belly: A Surprising New Way to Burn Fat Quickly
As part of a new series: "Diet Trends: A look at Singapore's Top Diets" we put new diet and fitness techniques to the test
Weekly Health Singapore - Losing weight often feels like an impossible challenge. We have evaluated numerous fad diets over the years. All too frequently their results are just shy of painfully disappointing.
The reason why most diets fail, in our opinion, is that they impose unrealistic restrictions on how you live your life. Some advocate eating tons of protein others emphasize carbohydrates. In either case, you're left with having to make rather drastic changes to the types of food you eat and when you eat it. In this special report, we take an in-depth look at an emerging and promising weight loss trend that we believe is a game changer, and it won't break the bank. By now, you have likely heard about the increasingly popular Cambogia diet. Recently introduced in Singapore, it is gathering a great deal of support in the media, and is receiving rave reviews from thousands who claim that their bodies have literally become "fat burning machines". Also, if you combine it with a powerful colon cleanser, you will create a fat burning machine!
However, if you're skeptical, you're not alone. When we first learned about this weightloss combo, our diet fad radar went off right away.
Nevertheless, as we began to investigate the countless success stories reported by people from all around the globe, we decided that this weight loss trend was worthy of a closer examination. Moreover, we found it of particular interest that these people had not significantly changed their current lifestyles.

You Are Single For A Reason
This production is funny as it is meant as a comedy effect for the singles. I am a single without friends. I mainly hang out with my classmates. I really envy them. So sad my life. I am falling into depression right now.
Mood swings
My mother kept accusing me of something that I have not done. From young she always does that. Nowadays she kept repeating herself saying that I am irresponsible. She caused my father's death actually and still be happy about it. In the eyes of the world, what would people think ? To think she comes from Pentecost Methodist church which is so good in fellowshipping. To think that there is such thing as injustice.

Ray Peterson - Corinna, Corinna (1960)
This song is nice but very hard to play. I am storing here temporarily.
Traveling to Japan
I used to have this Japanese-English dictionary from long ago as I never did learn the language despite the fact I went to Japan. I decide to learn the language from my mother who used to throw her dictionary away. I found this song from Japan which is fascinating to me. Hope the audience appreciate this.

New Doxology
This is a fantastic take on the song "Praise God from whom all blessings flow" otherwise known as the Doxology. In fact the original song is not the tune from Pentecost Methodist church. This version is real lovely. Should introduce to the church. The notes are as below:

Anger management
I like football a lot and support Manchester United and my best friend Kiam Chye introduced me to Arsenal. I like him a lot along with Shaheeda who loves Lim Tong Hai a lot. Research told me that Lim Tong Hai is a quarterback in football. I check on Wikipedia and the information just popped out as below.
"Lim Tong Hai (born 14 May 1969) was a centre-back for the Singapore national football team from 1989 to 1999. He held various backroom roles at former club Geylang United after retiring from his playing career until his departure in 2012.[2]"
playing football right now alone as usual.

Suing
Geylang Methodist Secondary school will be officially sued by me because of my mistreatment. They don't deserve grace.
Faith
What is faith ? Faith can be a lot of things. Such as faith in God. I was a Christian at the age of 16. Reading the Bible was interesting to me and other people. Discussion was fruitful. Different verses popped out of somewhere. Bethesda Chapel had the most interesting kind of people like the elders and the members. They were so homely. I felt belonged there rather than Pentecost Methodist church.
I miss going to church.

Official notice
I want to sue Geylang Methodist Secondary School for mistreatment of me. My friends suffered because of me. They will be sued for slander. The classmates were not exactly friendly. I hope that they will be cautious in what they say. I dislike them immensely.

Germany Is The Worldcup Winner In Brazil (Original Version BAYERN 3)
In honour of Salted Vegetable, my favourite friend who is really cute with his smiley face. I hope that he don't mind me nicknaming him. He made me feel alive. I really love him.
Book on love
The book I am currently reading is titled love by Karen Porter Sorensen. It has a fantastic cover. The author must have travelled around to research on the topic of love. What is love to you ? Is it inspiring like the Bible ? Or is it degrading that eats into your soul ?
Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy. This is from 1 Corinthians 13.
I took a photo off my Bible which have been with me for 20 years.

Flu epidemic
Imagine having flu bugs in the air. From young I have always been ill and asthmatic. Now that I am getting older, I didn't think that my asthma came back and experiencing heart palpitations. I finally told the doctor that I told my mother that I had a bad flu. But she never believe me as she always think that I act. She is always complaining about the food and picking on me. Everyday she does that. She does everything to annoy me including throwing my favourite food, chicken rice with soup which I only take when I am ill and had visited the doctor at Simei. I had serious issue with the flu as the weather is unpredictable nowadays. I have caught in the rain once as I had no shelter to the bus stop. Today the runny nose caught me and it is terrible. And I use up a whole box of tissue, feeling 'kang kor'. I am seriously malnourished

Boy-girl relationship
This type of relationship is complicated. I used to have one and it is real to me. But the boy didn't like me. so it is pretty much one sided. The boy judged me on the way I look. The fact that I really loved him so much that it hurts me emotionally. I barely recovered till now as he is my first love. I deserved the rejection as I am supposed to study. I needed to deal with this rejection first. He acted that I don't deserve him. In my eyes, he is good-looking. We are classmates actually. I remember wanting him so badly. I don't know how to stop this obsession. I will try very hard to do just that. I will forget him so that it won't hurt anymore. It is best this way as I still can be friends with him along with other people who are my best friends like KC, TY and LauF.

Shy Boy and his Friend Shock the Audience with The Prayer - Unbelievable
A great testimony as to how Shy Boy has problems with his body size and confidence shaken but the great thing is he has a friend who really support him. I wish that I had one. It is hard to find people to trust.
Awesome Acapella Performance on a Korean subway
This is damn interesting. Imagine singing on the train holding your hand phones. Miss singing in an a cappella group. But how ? I can't turn back time like people said. I am getting old. I am feeling old. I think the diet of Camborgia is having an effect on me. It works as I manage to lose my tummy fat and lost some weight. But I still want to maintain my figure and the weight of 50 kg. Overall, I am happy to lose weight to 47kg. Okay, I am fat. I now look like the devil. The Camborgia diet need to be continued to be taken as I want to remain skinny or else how can I wear a dress with all the stomach fat.

Hurts
Yesterday I went to church because my mother allowed me. All this while, she hurl abuse at me, saying things that are unedifying. It is a miracle that I went to church. However the church people always expect me to buy something for them. Now I know the heart is deceitful. I am still hurting from a past relationship which I never recovered from.

I always have this trouble of my body fat. I have wanted to lose weight around my tummy as it is really difficult for me to wear dresses especially skirts. Actually I don't like to wear skirts as my tummy fat shows. Basically I envy those any girl who don't even have stomach fat even after eating. So good...

Maksim: Flight of the BumbleBee and more...
This is the pianist that my first piano teacher mentioned and she don't seem to like this sort of playing. This video will definitely put any classical pianists to shame. I admit he is a fantastic pianist despite being put on commercial terms. Classical music has a lot of footwork and lesser handwork depending on the piece of music. Classical music involves the composers like Bach and Beethoven. Most importantly, Maksim still retain the spirit of classical music with its expressive playing. I love that.

Moonlight Sonata (+playlist)
This is the most haunting piece of music written by famous classical music composer Beethoven. This piece is difficult to play because of its expressive interlude. I have great feelings towards this piece.which is 'romantic'.

Relationships
Try getting over a broken heart. It is not easy to get over it. It's a major decision for me to break up with the guy. This is because I got to think of the group. Love alone is not enough.

You are my All in All Bob Fitts
My mum taught me this song recently this week. But I haven't been practicing hard because my piano lessons were really tough and I have to do the practical and theory for Grade 4. Sometimes I wonder if it is really worth it because I don't get to play in the church.

Relationships
I find that relationships are complex especially when it comes to love. I know that I hurt the guy by ditching him. The truth is that I don't want to be hurt. I know that is selfish of me because I do feel insecure as I felt that secondary school life is short. It is bad enough that I lost my best friend by doing outreach. After all it is my first BGR (short for boy-girl relationship). I fell in love with him in secret during class in the last 4 years of my secondary school life. Can you imagine that it is so torturing for me for me to sit near him but never to have him?

Unforgiveness
Dealing with unforgiveness is a tough choice to make especially when your relative starts to hound you for money. The worst thing he has the money which I never once touched. And most importantly he has a job. He has the best things in life like a girlfriend and an aunt for a scrooge (which I hated her to the core which she had never gave to me). No wonder she caused the death of another aunt. She comes to the house strutting like a pig and expect to be fed. She refused to give any money in the form of the ang bao. She caused people to stumble and the worst thing is that she has perfect face which I never had.
The best thing is that she knows the government.

Baptism
Last Sunday I just got baptised in my father's church. Finally ! After so many years and rounds of baptismal classes and getting to know people. When I first went for those classes, I felt really awkward because I came alone. My mother arranged for me to register for those classes. It was really nice to be around despite my awkwardness. There were times I wish that my good friend Salted Veg is with me. When I last met my good friend, he is in mourning and I felt bad about being happy at the funeral because it is really insensitive. The worst thing is he became more good looking without me even noticing. And seeing him reminded me of the guy I used to love. Okay, my mum advised me to let go of the past. I will try.
Jeff Chang - Goodbye Yesterday
I remember hearing another song of a different title by this artiste Zhang Xin Zhe. It was during my poly days when a friend of mine played the CD and the song "Guo Huo" really spoke to me. I think this artiste must have been famous then. The best thing is he's a really good singer. He has quite a few hit songs on radio then. Now I have been practicing this song at home.

Dreams
A week ago, I dreamt of my female classmate who used to tease me that I had depression. She was from the secondary school that I once studied in. In my dream, she was the happiest. I guess she was trying to help me to snap out of my trance-like state. Now, come to think of it, did I make the wrong choice in life by not being popular ?

Love that hurts
I remember liking this guy which is not so handsome. But it is natural for any girl to like a guy with good looks. It is better this way.
Quiet time
Is there a place where I can find some peace ? It is tiring being a leader, you know...
Wasted youth
My mother just lectured me on how I wasted my youth. But youth is meant to be wasted especially when you can hate somebody so intensely. That hatred can really eat in to your soul. That is how I spent my youth. It is like the Bible.

Recipe
I found this fantastic recipe that makes me go hungry. According to the American Century Cookbook, the first Waldorf Salad was created in New York City in 1893, by Oscar Tschirky, the maître d’hôtel of the Waldorf Astoria. The original recipe consisted only of diced red-skinned apples, celery, and mayonnaise. Chopped walnuts were added later to this now American classic. Some prefer their Waldorf salad made with yogurt, instead of mayo. Having had this salad both ways, I fall firmly in the mayonnaise camp. But feel free to substitute yogurt for the mayo if that’s your druthers.

Earlier in the morning my mum picked on me. I beat her in public because she is always pleasing her friends.
