This is an impromptu post…I just wanted to wish you ALL, a very “Happy Thanksgiving”…
The card that I am sharing today, I named it a "Zipper" card, and it was a card that we did at a class! It can hold inside that “Zipper” pocket a little thanksgiving poem or a menu or something that you would like to say…(not shown in picture)
One of the poems says:
"The funny thing about Thanksgiving, is that you spend 12 hours shopping for it and then chopping and cooking and braising and blanching. Then it takes 20 minutes to eat it and everybody sort of sits around in a food coma, and then it takes four hours to clean it up. ~Ted Allen"
The technique used is emboss resist. You can see this technique featured in my “Card Stamping Techniques” board over at my “Pinterest Gallery”.
If you would like to find out more about my card go here: for more details.
I included over there some poems for you to print...
I posted this project as part of my contributions as a design team member at Memory Box, in the "Outside the Box" blog.
