Great News!!! I am in the DT of "Lost Coast Designs"!!!

Hello My dear Stamper Friends:

I am so happy to announce FINALLY,  that I am in the Design Team of "Lost Coast Designs"...

I first encounter this company at my very first rubber stamp convention, back in 2008...
When I saw their designs I thought that they were very "artistic" and "unusual"...and of course I had to had some of their stamps...among "those" stamps I got the "wings" that you can see in this card...

After that first meeting, Every time that I saw them back at a convention I had to have some of their stuff...they are so "whimsical" and "different"... just look at that "Drag Queen"! She is Unique!...

I really encourage you to have a pick at their online catalogue, they have real special rubber stamps... so check them out...

You can only get them through their online store or if you are lucky,  see them in person around the country when they travel in one of the rubber stamp convention that they attend...

They describe themselves as a "sophisticated, vintage, collage, shrine, angel rubber stamp" company ... and all their stamps come in red rubber, mounted,  on cling or unmounted, which I love.
I like clear stamps too,  but I am king of a "purist" and I really enjoy having red rubber stamps...
this is why the name of my blog, because I fell in love first with stamping with red rubber stamps...

In this very first card made for them as part of my contributions as a design team member, I decided to use this "Drag Queen" and make her sparkle... I decided to use glitter, gold embossing powder and make her "fly" :)...
I use a "Glue Pad" to stamp the "Chicken Wire" background  and the "Wings". Right away, I added the glitter.

TIP: tap the glitter onto the glue and let it dry...THEN shake excess of glitter, ...some will still come off, but not too bad...the tapping and the drying time is Key to this process...
I added some tape foam to give some dimension; the flourish and the drag queen were heat emboss...

Here it is a last view, from the side; Notice the wings pop up form the card...

I hope you liked it and I look forward to show you some other cards in the future made with their fun stamps...
if you have some time please leave me a small note here or... at their blog...
the links are also on the side bar...
