PTW challenge

Following the sketch over at PTW, I came up with this card. The lovely Jill sent me a sheet of stamps from Buzz Craft, and this is the first chance I have had to play with them.
Yahoo !! one more day at work then 4 days off to relax without the hassle of Christmas... time to catch up with a few friends I haven't seen in a few weeks.

Summery Anya!

Today is "Tracy Day" in this house. It is where I have done 2 loads of dishes, two loads washing, pruned roses, now I am doing what ever I like!!! So I have made this card for the Anyone for Anya challenge. I have a couple of good books to read so I plan on settling down to a nice quiet afternoon.

Last chance!!!

Yep, with Christmas Eve tomorrow, this was my last chance to sit down and play. I got this image from Instyle Stamps who have some great girlie images. I followed their sketch and did this summery card.
If I don't get a chance before Christmas (which is not likely), I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for sharing your comments and visiting me and my blog.

Copic Buzz - RED

This stamp was one of my very first stamps. I was put off by its size, so this is the first time I have inked it and I have had it for 4 years!!! Over at Copic Buzz they want you to colour something red, hopefully theres enough red in it!

A Spoon Full of Sugar

I have been having card withdrawals, so last night I coloured 3 different images with the same coloured copics and are using the same paper... is this cheating???

2 challenges 1 card

Yep, I am trying to get a smidge of time to myself during this hectic month. The kids have got something on everyday, including Sat and Sun!!!. So to make it easier during that little window of craft time I have combined two challenges to make one card. ... Basic Grey Challenge - Pink, Blue and Cream, and a Get Sketchy sketch.
Right I am off to work on my DT cards for Doodle Palace. My stint there is almost up, and I will be sad to leave, I have found it really enjoyable and loved being part of a team.

I needed a girly birthday card for Bailee's little friend, so made this following the sketch over at Delightful Sketches.
Also, how lucky am I????? Look what was in the mail for me a couple days ago!! This is from my good blogging friend Jill. thanks so much Jill... your a hun. I am being very good and putting it under the tree for Christmas!!!

Doodle Palace - new image release

It seems like a long time between image releases this round. Isn't this trio of bears so cute... and the beauty of digi images is that you can make as big or small as you like! I really enjoyed relaxing (see Kate, I can relax!!) while cutting out their PJ's. You can find these images over at Doodle Palace. Go see the other fantastic work the DT princesses have done.

JC and BC challenge

I managed to get this done last night following sketch at Just Christmas and Birthday Cards. Once again I have used a Pollycraft image. I am off tonight to do some Christmas shopping for the pantry, I have fudge and truffles to make in the weekend among other things that will keep for a few weeks.

The Sugar Bowl

I am not at all happy about this card. I followed a sketch from The Sugar Bowl. The sketch is great but I think its the colours that I dont like.

Scrap Fest!!

Yesterday a group of us got together and had a relaxing day card making and scrapping. This is what I did.
I am not sure what my style is, I do struggle with headings and writing... I tend to leave these for a few days then add. I must say I am glad I have girls so I can us yummy prima flowers, paper and bling.
All three are 100% Prima, the first one is of Cameron, second is of Cameron again... which I must admit I scrap lifted from the Prima website, and third is my beautiful mum.

(yes I have got another girl.... and I tend to scrap her all the time, which is why I decided to do a few of cam!) LOL

Oh... and ... everthing you see can be bought at Crafty Tart.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Oh yes.. its a papertake weekly challenge ... plus you guessed it, another Pollycraft image!!! Yep hook, line and sinker.... or is it that I need to buy more stamps!!

Guess what!!!! I have the urge to sit and make a card..... this one has only taken 20mins..... but alas... there is the little thing called getting tea ready for kids and hubby..... maybe I can sneak back in here afterwards!!

Pollycraft Christmas

I have decided that I am having a very Pollycraft Christmas this year! Just about all of my Christmas cards are digi images from Pollycraft!
This card fits in well with Basic Grey challenge where you have to use BG (paper) and follow sketch, also Allsorts challenge - to use buttons, and lastly The Pixie Cottage - faux stitching.

Anyone for Anya??

I haven't joined in on the Anyone for Anya challenge for a while, so thought I'd better show my face there since half my stamps are Miss Anya stamps! I love this Bo Bunny paper... so vibrant.! This is also my first attempt at lollipop flowers.

Yep, thats the challenge over at Saturday Challenge... a card with Christmas trees on it!
Once again I have used a Pollycraft image.

Lilac and Silver

What a great combo this ended up being. I combined 3 challenges for this card, which is maybe why I like it so much!

First is for Stampin' for the Weekend - Silver and Lilac - what a great colour combo.

Second is for Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Something Christmas, which I am finding myself quite addicted to their digi stamps as you might have noticed!.

And third is for Get Sketchy - which of course I followed their fab sketch.

I have just the person who will love getting this card in the mail.

Summer fun!

Yep, this card reminds me of summer. I followed the sketch from Delightful Sketches, where I won this image some time ago and have only now just got around to using it. My girls think she's lovely with the little butterfly.
Outside the weather is overcast.... it's supposed to rain, is it terrible to have your fingers crossed hoping it does rain just so I can make some cards???

Day off and one card!!!

Yep that's right folks.. the whole day off and all I produce is one card! The paper is Basic Grey - June Bug I have added some sparkle and layers to the card. I decided it was time I did a challenge, so I played along with Basic Grey Challenges.

Back to normal

Yep, life will be back to normal at 2.30 when Cam comes back from camp... I would put money on it that the girls will start fighting within 2 hours!!!

This card is using the super cute image from Doodle Palace, I had lots of fun using all that glitter for the snow. It also matches the sketch over at Get Sketchy.

Silence is golden!!!

What a quiet house I have. Cameron left for camp today, Bailee is feeling ill and has a temp, hubby on night shift, and I am listening to silence...ahhhh.
Anyhow, onto the card - this was created for two challenges in mind - Magnolia Down Under who gave us a great sketch to follow and also Saturday Challenge where we had to choose a season... does it look like end of winter/beginning of spring card???

2 challenges and a cake!!!!

Here I am!!!!! Yep I have been MIA for the week or so. I think having 12 plus 6-7yr olds running around last week was enough to do my head in...(note to one self... NO MORE PARTYS!!!)
Not to mention the cold sore on my nose that would make Rudolph proud, and my ankle that has a xray tomorrow to see if I have a hairline fracture!!!.
Right enough waffling, onto the card... I decided to combine two challenges... one for Allsorts - where your project could be for a child... since this is going to Cameron;s friend, I guess it qualifies. Second challenge is for La-la Land - where you have to get punchy... so used my new flower punches.
And lastly... wanted to share Bailees birthday cake with you ... yes I made it... 4 hours of blood, sweat and tears!!! big thanks to Sally who blow up balloons!!

Monochrome

My first attempt at a monochrome card... phew, not as easy as it looks!!!
This was the challenge at Just Magnolia.
The sun is shinning outside, so I have a job to do!!! paint the carport floor. Better get cracking.
