You're Inspiring

Whoops! Forgot to share this Easter card I made using the You're Inspiring stamp set. I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.

Here's a quick glimpse at my work station! I work out here often and at all hours!

Strong & Beautiful

This is a framed decor piece I made using the Doily Builder Dies, Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set, and Petal Promenade DSP among other Stampin' Up! products. Sometimes the DSP we offer is too beautiful to chop and creating a framed piece of art is the only way to truly appreciate its beauty!

Country Floral

Another beautiful embossed card using an inked up Country Floral 3D TIEF (available June 4, 2019 in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog). I used Berry Burst ink, cardstock, and ribbon to accent the Whisper White on this card. You can add a sentiment now or later or leave it without.

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail

I make this sweet little Easter bunny card using the Best Bunny stamp set and Bunny Builder punch! I accented with Highland Heather cardstock, DSP, and ribbon!

Geared Garage

Inking up embossing folders can give your background image even more texture, but in this case I inked up the embossed image after I ran in through my embossing machine. This is Copper Foil paper inked up with Black Stazon directly from the ink pad. I used Geared Garage to make this the perfect masculine card.

Climbing Roses

I used the Stamparatus to create this wreath look with my stamp from the Climbing Roses stamp set on page 9 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog. This card is Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White.

Special Day

This is a stunning celebration card that could be used for Weddings and Bridal Showers. I used the Country Floral 3D TIEF that will be back in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog on June 4, 2019.

You could make this card in a variety of colors, but I used Blackberry Bliss ink and cardstock to accent my Whisper White elements. I stamped my sentiment from the Stitched All Around Bundle on page 17 in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and die cut the sentiment with the largest label die from the Stitched Labels Framelits. This bundle will retire on June 3rd, so get it now for 10% off (stamp set and dies will be available separately in the 2019-2020 AC).

All these products are available on my website when you click shop now!

Glad We're Friends

I used a mirror technique to create this card using the Fable Friends stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. This adorable set includes images that can be colored using your favorite medium. Here I used Stampin' Blends.

I used the Gingham Gala DSP in Daffodil Delight and coordinating ribbon.

Words Can't Express

If you can't tell purple is my favorite color! Currently Stampin' Up! offers so many great purples for me to work with, but this purple is on a farewell tour. That's right, Fresh Fig is set to retire at the end of May with it's In Color family.

Here I use Dear Doily on page 47 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog to express my thoughts of thankfulness in this thank you card.

Hugs From Shelli

This May, you’re in for a treat. Paper Pumpkin has teamed up with Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up!’s board chair and cofounder, to deliver you a very special Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s exclusive, collectible, and one of a kind. Die-hard Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! fans won’t want to miss this special edition.
The look and feel of this kit is all Shelli. It’s elegant, feminine, and so full of springtime details that you’ll probably just want to take a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and then go home and stamp every card in the kit. And the box it comes in? We predict that you’ll be keeping it . . . like . . . forever. Wait and see.
Check out the video here!
Shelli worked closely with designers and concept artists to create a Paper Pumpkin kit that is uniquely hers. It includes an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, paper and crafting materials to create 12 mailable cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs), 12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes, and a Classic Stampin’ Spot.
Coordinating colors: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla.

Brayered Background

I created this card using a brayer roller and 3 different colors of ink. To achieve this look I recommend the rubber speed-ball type brayer, not a sponge brayer. You also must practice to get the right look. I offer classes to my local customers because this isn't something that can be taught in a video. I sponged the land in at the bottom.

Lilypad Lake

I made this card with the Crane image from the Lilypad Lake Stamp Set. I stamped the image on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut the Crane out and popped it up on my background image using Dimensionals.

I scored the top layer of the base to draw your attention to my image block. I do this when I need something subtle to add interest to plain cardstock.

Happy Birthday

I wanted this card to showcase the Piece of Cake Bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalog! I used Stampin' Write Markers to color in the cake and lolly pop images that are the focal point of my card.

Tea Together

This card if full of different techniques! I've embossed using the Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder that was inked to bring out the detail. I've stamped the teapot image from the Tea Together Stamp Set and die cut it with the Tea Time Framelits. I also used a creative technique to make the flower in the middle of my teapot image sparkle!

Daisy Basket

I made this cute little basket and filled it with punched daisies in all different colors. I've pictured my template for the basket below if you need a visual.

I started with 6 1/2" x 6" piece of cardstock. Then I scored the whole piece on the 6 1/2" side at 2" and 4 1/2", turned to the 6" side and scored at 2" and 4". Then on the 6 1/2" side I cut the scored lines to the first perpendicular score line. Turn to the opposite side and repeat. Finally, fold all scored lines inward.

To put the basket together you will need to angle the outside flaps in towards each other. Once you've pulled the ends up, punch a hole with a hand punch and secure with a brad of your choice. If you don't have brads you can use adhesive to secure your basket sides and decorate the outside.

I made 18 flowers using the Daisy Punch. Each flower is two layers with a floral pin sandwiched between and glues with Tombow. I then used a stylus to form the petals. Finally, I decorated the center of each flower.

Stunning Effect

I made this card using Copper Foil Sheets embossed with the Country Floral Embossing Folder. Once I ran the Copper Foil through my Big Shot I brushed the image with my Stazon Stamp Pad

Finally, I mounted the Copper Foil on Powder Pink Cardstock and Basic Black Cardstock to complete my look. You can always add a sentiment to the outside, but I like it without!

It's Your Day!

I made the background on this card using a watercolor wash technique using Blushing Bride Stampin' Ink Refill and Berry Burst Stampin' Ink Refill. It's very messy, but produces great results. You can google good tutorials on how to make a watercolor wash or follow my directions below:

  1. using your aqua painter spread a ton of water on watercolor paper (it should be dripping wet)
  2. drop ink drops onto the watercolor paper strait from the refill bottle and watch the ink spread
  3. use an Aqua Painter to help direct the ink if you have bare spots
  4. now let your watercolor cardstock dry (this will take some time)
For the rest of the card I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set with Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad, Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad, and Berry Burst Stampin' Pad. Blushing Bride Cardstock and Powder Pink Ribbon to finish this look.

Blogging is hard.

Its like a marriage......You have to work at it.   I am getting to the age where I need a LIST to work from.....LOL.   Make the card, make a video of how you made the card,  photograph the card,  watermark the photo, post to 10 facebook groups, post to your blog, post on instagram, answer 400 questions about your card to the thousands on facebook because they cant just copy!  i might be too old for this.  Its frustrating.  I would rather have people come over and let me show them how to do it. Well enough wining.  Here is the card!

and here is the video on how I made that beautiful 3D cameo looking backgroud!
