My sweet Beth.
My little girl is leaving this evening and travelling back to her home. No matter how old they get, or how often they come and leave, the tears still fall like its the first time they are leaving the nest. Memories of this magical Christmas will stay in our hearts forever.

Retail Therapy
Looking forward to Starbucks and the Boxing Day sales with my beautiful daughter when she is home for the holidays!!!
Homemade for the Holidays
Inspiration for this card was both the "Merry Monday" Theme Challenge and "Mojo Monday" Sketch Challenge.
Merry "Starbucks"
I wanted to give a gift card to my wonderful mail delivery lady. She is a delight to see everyday!
The scene on this gift card was adorable, and I thought just perfect for a window die cut card and perfect for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop and Just Add Ink #297 Challenge.
Once she pulls the card out, there is a snowman scene stamped underneath.

First Place Winner ~ Gina K Stamp TV Movie Challenge
The stipulations for this challenge was to create a card representing a Hollywood movie.
My inspiration came from the Kevin Costner movie "Message In A Bottle".
Absolutely love that movie!
First step was to create a burnished effect on the card base layer. I did this by "stamping off" with a vintage map stamp and vintage compass stamp. I then sponged smudges over top.
I stamped the vintage script on vanilla card stock then heavily sponge smudged it as well. I took a darker ink to sponge edges of that piece to give it a burnt look.
To add a layer of texture I ran a piece of vanilla cardstock through a crimper then sponged the raised stripes.
For the beach and sand I tore mulberry papers and slightly frayed them.
I added twine and shells to carry the theme and the final embellishment was a little message I wrote, rolled up and then inserted into the tiny bottle and attached with the twine.

Gifts for my wonderful neighbours.
I'm blessed to have had the same wonderful group of neighbours for over 30 years. Each year I make them a little something and this year it's Hot Mulled Cider Mix.
The smell of Christmas wafts all through the house when this is warming up!
First I made the recipe of spices and wrapped them in cheesecloth. Then I put them in little cellophane bags and tied them up with ribbon.
Next I made these little tags to attach to the bags. The recipe is on the back of each tag.
Christmas Cocoa
Inspiration for this card was the "Holiday Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop" invitation to create a card reflecting hot and cozy drinks for the holidays.
My "Christmas Cocoa" project used traditional Christmas colours and warm mittens hugging a snowflake mug of steaming hot cocoa.
I used a poinsettia folder to emboss the background layer. I also used an embossing folder to add texture to the mittens. After punching out the mitten tops, I used red glitter on the berries of the DSP.
Wink of Stella was used to add glitter to the snowflake and "steam".
THANK YOU ALL for the wonderful comments you have left!!

Christmas in B.C.
My brother and sister in law have retired off the grid in the wee hamlet of Tata Creek, B.C.
Their new home is an authentic log home.
I made them a set of these Christmas cards to give to their new friends.
Winter Wishes
Because of the intricate detail of this stamp, it had to be inked up with a brayer.
Using a brayer really gets the ink into those detailed grooves resulting in a crisp stamped image.
