Create Yourself. Once upon a sketch.

Hello there everyone. I have a layout to share with you. I created this layout for the Once Upon a Sketch challenge for January. 

The sketch is super fun and stretches my creativity and comfort alot. So I new I had to try it out. I really love how it came out. I used the Prima Tea Thyme collection and some gorgeous flowers from Manor House Creations. (there is also some other flowers from my stash) I also used some stunning lace from The Piece by Piece. 

Here is the layout.  (journaling on the back)

The theme this month is "to start something new" 

I thought it was perfect as we are trying to be better and work harder at our goals as a family and really strive to better ourselves. We go through things everyday that changes us. We are starting new this year ready for any challenge and adventure. 

If you have done a Sketch from OUAS before you know that you have to journal. For me its really hard to write on the actual layout as my hand writing is horrible. So I printed out my journaling and adhered it to the back of the layout.

Valentines Day Banner.

Today I want to share with you this banner I made. 

I made it using the kit from Discount Paper Crafts. You can find it here. I cut out the pendants using my cricut. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge. I then ran it through my sizzix using a embossing folder. I made the folded paper rosettes and placed some stickers on the middle.

Love. January Prima BAP challenge.

I am going to share with you a layout I made for the Prima BAP challenge. 

I used the Rondelle collection. I love this paper and all the embellishments. I had to use it for this sketch. The sketch this month was very challenging for me..... but I think I pulled it off... hehe! The cuties are my kiddos of course. A few months ago we had our family pictures done and I love how they turned out. Abby is so serious and Mateo always has his cute smile.

Pucker Up layout. The Piece by Piece DT Project.

Hey everyone. Happy New Year. 

I have my first project of 2013. I made this layout for The Piece by Piece. I have had this picture of my sweet Abby for a couple months now. I think it is super cute!!! 

For my layout I used some Glitz Design paper and stickers. The collections I used are Pretty in Pink and French Kiss.
