30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 21

Good morning,

As you may know, I'm in a house full of boys, even the dog (lol!) so I'm always in the need for masculine cards.  My guys are also very active in scouts and outdoor activities so when I saw the Let's Wander stamp set it was one of the first on my wish list so I decided to use it for today's gratitude card.

This card uses Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then I took a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and embossed it with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (and then sponged it with Crumb Cake ink) and then matted it with Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the hiking boots from the Let's Wander stamp set on Basic White cardstock with Momento Black ink and then colored them in with Stampin' Blends (I did use the Layering Squares Dies to cut the image out, but you could just cut the cardstock down with a paper trimmer).

The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped in Basic Black ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies and attached with dimensionals.  I used some Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon to dress up the card.

Oh, these boots are so fun and perfect for the dudes in your life!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 15

Good morning,

There are so many times and ways to show your gratitude and I want to make sure to reflect that in the different cards and projects I create for this challenge over the month.  When I saw the Hearts & Hugs stamp set I just knew it would be a fun, lighthearted way to say to express appreciation.

This card starts with a cardbase of Flirty Flamingo and then I added Summer Splash cardstock under the Basic White cardfront that was embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder.

For the main image, I stamped these cute guys in Momento Black ink on  Basic White and then colored them in with Stampin' Blends before cutting them out with the coordinating dies and attaching to the cardfront.  The greeting was stamped in Summer Splash and was fussy cut with Paper Snips before attaching also with dimensionals.

I love the cute-ness of these guys along with the fun colors, perfect for lighthearted greetings!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 10

Good morning,

Looking for a relaxing Sunday that of course has a little crafting in the forecast (always fun).  For today's gratitude card I wanted to share a fun card using embossing with the new Two-Tone cardstock.

This card uses Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase.  Then I took a piece of Garden Green cardstock from the Snow Day 12x12 Two Tone Cardstock and embossed it with the Painted Trees 3D embossing folder before lightly sanding over the trees to bring out the core of the cardstock so it looks like snow (so fun!).

The greeting was made using the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and I embossed it and then cut it out with the coordinating dies before attaching with dimensionals.  The final touch was to add a know tied with the Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon.

This card is so fun and wows without a lot of extra work!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 4

Good morning and happy Monday,

We have a crisp fall day in store for us today which I enjoy and fits perfect with the card I designed for today.

The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder is an Online Exclusive that was released last year and is an unsung hero.  As soon as I saw it I was trying to figure out the best way to show case all it's beauty, the answer...gold foil!

This card starts with Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase.  Then I took a piece of Gold Foil and embossed it with the embossing folder (check out all those leaves!!) and matted it with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White.  I added a small strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock before the greeting before attaching it with dimensionals.  The final touches were a bow tied with Linen Thread and a couple of Pecan Pie Dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.

I definitely did the happy dance with this card, love the simplicity and just letting the gold leaves take center stage.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 3

Good morning,

Happy Sunday!  I'm excited that today is December Daily prep day so I'm planning on spending the day getting crafty getting some work done on my album this year.  Before all that fun begins I wanted to hop and share today's gratitude card, which of course is Christmas themed.

I used Mossy Meadow cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that was embossed and then added a piece of Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper (this pack is awesome as it has patterns for all occasions!).  I used some Crem 1/4" Woven Ribbon as a belly band.

The greeting is from the same My Small Business stamp set I used yesterday (stamped in Mossy Meadow on Basic White cardstock before cutting out with the Stitched Shapes dies.  I took a piece of Gold Foil and cut it out with the Greetings of the Season dies for a fun accent.  The final touch was to add a few dots from the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries (this are so fun!)  The greeting piece was attached with dimensionals.
