30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 29

Good morning,

After a wonderful Thanksgiving it's time for Black Friday and shopping!  This is a huge tradition for me and a friend who always go out each year and love the time and the chats we have.

I didn't want to leave you hanging with today's gratitude card so today I'm sharing a super easy, winter themed card.

The cardbase is night of Navy and then I used Balmy Blue cardstock to mat the Basic White cardfront.  I used the One of Kind stamp set and coordinating dies for this card and just use Night of Navy and stamped off with some of the images and sponged to have different levels of color saturation throughout the stamping.  I did use the dies to cut a snowflake with Silver Foil for a little bling.  The greeting is on another strip of Basic White and was attached with dimensionals.

This card is so soft and pretty, and a great option if you wanted to make multiples quickly!  Hope you enjoy your day!!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 28

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!

Love this time of year and our tradition of spending time with friends from college who have become family, it's such a great time that always makes us happy and rejuvenated after our festivities.  I did want to take time today to share my gratitude card and it's my last fall themed card for the year.  This card uses the Autumn Expressions stamp set and coordinating dies, which are fabulous!

For this card the cardbase is Mossy Meadow cardstock and then I took a piece of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper as the cardfront and it's matted with Cajun Craze cardstock.

For the stamped image I stamped the greeting on Very Vanilla cardstock with Cajun Craze ink and then cut it out with the dies.  I used the same dies to cut the gold pieces to make the frame and faux chain using Gold Foil sheets.  Once attaching to the cardfront with dimensionals I added a few of the Faux Glass Dots as an accent.

This card, it's perfect for fall and all the grateful feelings I have this time of year.  I hope you and your family are able to have an enjoyable day however you choose to celebrate!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 27

Good morning,

So like everyone else we are on full on Thanksgiving prep, which I love, so I thought it would be perfect to get one last ode to pumpkin spice in before the season on peppermint takes over, lol!

This card uses Cajun Craze for the cardbase and then I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardfront and embossed it with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and sponged over it with Crumb Cake ink to help bring out all the fun leaf texture.

Next I used the More than Autumn stamp set and stamped the coffee cup, donut, and pie pieces before coloring them with my Stampin' Blends and cutting them out with the coordinating dies.

I wrapped some Linen Thread around the cardfront before attaching all the pieces.  And added a few Faux Glass Dots.

For the greeting I pieced it together using words from 4 different individual stamps.

I know this is kind of a cheeky card for gratitude but it's fun so I went with it!

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #598: Christmas Friends

Good morning,

Today I'm sharing 2 cards since I miscalculated the date for this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge and thought it fell on next week, oops!  So today's card has this cute moose from the Christmas Friends stamp set and some fun embellishments from the 2024 Holiday catalog that have sold out a few times already.

For this card the cardbase is Lemon Lime Twist and then I added Basic White cardstock as the cardfront.

To this I cut lots of strips from the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper and cut them into banners before attaching them to the cardfront to make this banner effect.  Once that was complete I added a piece of Real Red cardstock along the top (helped hide all the tops of the banners) and was a perfect place for the greeting.

I stamped the moose in Momento Black ink on Basic White, colored him in with Stampin' Blends and then cut him out with the coordinating dies.  He's matted on a circle cut out of Garden Green cardstock.  The perfect finishing touch was a few Real Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints (maybe my favorite embellishment from the Holiday catalog!)

The colors, patterns, and moose are so fun and playful I can't wait to send him to a special friend for the holidays.

Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration.  We would love for you to play along and share what you create using this sketch.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 26

Good morning,

With Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusive releases I have found I have a hard time using them, I either preorder and then forget them, or I miss that they were released, neither which is good.  For today's gratitude card I decided to go back to the Ice Cream Swirl set which was released awhile back and I had yet to ink it up.  I also needed something quick and easy since I have a lot on my To Do list so this card was perfect, and I got a little color therapy in.

The cardbase is Summer Splash and then I added a piece of Basic White cardstock as the cardfront and matted it with Basic Black cardstock.

Once I stamped all the images with Momento Black ink I got to work coloring it in with my Stampin' Blends.  It was fun to make this ice cream a swirl using both Summer Splash and Pool Party inks.  Once I was finished I had to add a cherry for a fun topping.
