I have decided to really crank things up with something more concrete and inspirational. ...Plus, since I really worked hard at losing weight in 2008 (has a nice ring doesn't it?) I really wanted to focus on "looking fine in 2009" - LOL! So here are my fitness and health goals to help kick-off the first part of 2009 (in no particular order)...
By April 15th I will achieve...
- (5) full on push-ups.
- (1) true pull-up (at least).
- Lose 15 lbs.
- Continue to get my fanny into the gym 3-4x a week.
- Continue to improve my overall health by continuing to follow a healthy diet and fun fitness routine which will hopefully help to get me off of my blood pressure medication, too - *fingers are crossed*
- Finally bite the bullet and learn how to swim. (I know, how embarrassing is this?! LOL)
- Pick up a new activity and/or try something new like indoor Rock Climbing, Hot Yoga, Hiking, belly dancing, or possibly Snowboarding or Snow-Shoeing. I'd also like to get out and do a little bit of golfing, too - even miniature golf will do. LOL
