The calendar says "Spring," but the weather here in Maryland has been a little mixed up lately. We had snow flurries last weekend, and then it climbs to the high 60s by late afternoon. Luckily, creativity is not dependent on the weather, so I have a Spring-like project for you despite the weather.
This card features flowers made with the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies and Whisper White cardstock.

Botanical Builders Framelits Dies
#140625 $33.00 |
I wanted to create a soft, feminine look for this card and the colors and patterns in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper was perfect! I love the subtle watercolor look of these patterns. And, I selected a coordinating pattern to use as an envelope liner.

Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper #140557 $11.00 |
I assembled the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals cut into small pieces, and then topped each one with a rhinestone. I love the tone-on-tone look of the all white flowers.
Here is a close-up of the flowers:
The striped Designer Series Paper was cut on an angle with the "vine" framelit. I wanted to have enough room to emboss the "dear friend" stamp in the upper left corner.
I also embossed the inside greeting with silver embossing powder, and then stamped a flower in the bottom left corner with Blushing Bride ink.
This is one of the projects we did at Stamp Club today, and the ladies loved it. It always makes me happy when they are happy!
Now, it is time to see what Missy has created for us this month.
Happy Stamping,
Here is the entire line up for this month's tour:
