Gerda Steiner December Challenge - Love You Sew Much Bunny!

I'm joining the Gerda Steiner progressive monthly challenge featuring the December image Love you sew much - Bunny!  

I started by printing the digital image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock.   The image was colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers then layered onto designer papers from the Crate Paper Close Knit paper pad.  A machine stitched border and pearls finish the card.

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #38

I have been away from the craftroom for a few days with the "bug" that everyone seems to be fighting!  I'm feeling so much better and couldn't wait to get back in the crafty mode.  I decided to start with the current SugarPea Designs challenge.

My card features Easily A'Moose'd stamp set and matching dies.  This set is full of adorable images and "Moose" sentiments.  The scene was built using the SugarPea TreeScape SugarCut die and paper from their Happy Camper paper pad.

YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #79 and Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop

I'm sharing a card for the current sketch and color challenge at Your Next Stamp.  My card features the YNS Perk Up stamp set.  What better set to feature for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

I started by stamping the image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and coloring with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers.  The image was fussy cut and layered onto a snowflake vellum circle panel (also SU).   I have been seeing vellum used more lately and so I've felt the urge to dig out my stash and use it!

I finished the card with Stampin' Up! rhinestones, silver cord and a machine stitched border.  Designer paper is from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper pad.

Sharing a card for the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I thought the circle windows would be perfect for a shaker card.  I pulled out a retired coffee sentiment set from MFT called CS Coffee.  The coffee cups are from Gina Marie Coffee Words Stamp.

The snowflakes were created with a punch from Martha Stewart.  Designer papers are from Basic Grey Jovial paper pad.

Catch the Bug Saturday Challenge - Naked Stamping (no coloring)

Thanks so much for all of you who participating in the week long Holiday Chaos challenge over at Catch the Bug!  Be sure to check the blog for all of the winners.

Today the design team is back with a new weekly challenge - Naked Stamping - No coloring but you can use colored ink. 

My shaker card began by printing the Bugaboo Coffee Words Cup image onto vellum.   It's hard to see in the picture, but the top panel was dry embossed with a snowflake folder.  

The border was created using Gina K Designs Fancy Foils from Therm O Web.  I love the added sparkle that the foil provides and it is SO easy!  

To finish the card I added Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon and snowflake brad.

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #361

The dog images are from MFT Lucky Dog and matching dies.  The "woof" sentiment is from the new MFT set New Best Friend.  My finished card is 4.25 square.

Catch the Bug - Holiday Chaos Day #1

Today starts the week long Holiday Chaos celebration at Catch the Bug!  Be sure to check the challenge blog each day for all of the details, prizes and design team inspiration.

Our first challenge is "Merry & Bright".  I'm excited to see how you interpret this challenge!  My project is a gift tag for Bath and Body Works soap.  (Who wouldn't love this as a gift?!)

I began by printing an image from Bugaboo Mini set - Winter Bears set and coloring with Copic markers.  Liquid Applique was applied and the image was die cut and layered onto a metallic doily from Stampin' Up!  A piece of baker's twine finishes the tag.

Graciellie Design New Release Hop with Therm O Web

This month Graciellie Design is collaborating with Therm O Web and featuring the new Gina K Designs Holiday line.

 

My project features the new Therm O Web Fancy Foils and Foil Mates.  I had so much fun creating this glittery holiday ornament panel!

I began by cutting the Foil-Mates panel to the desired size and a slightly larger panel of the Fancy Foils.  After layering I placed it in a folded plain sheet of paper then fed it through my Scotch Thermal Laminator.  It only takes a few seconds and you have a finished product.

The poinsettia image from the new Christmas Poinsettias set was printed onto vellum, fussy cut, colored with Copic markers and Stickles were applied.  Prima leaves, cheesecloth and gingham ribbon from Gina K Designs finish the card. Therm O Web Easy-Tear tape was used to adhere the card panels and ribbon.  If you need something sticky - check out Therm O Web adhesives!
