Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #28

Peggy continues as our hostess this month and this week she's put together a 1-2-3 recipe for us to follow. Our challenge was to include these items in your card or 3-D paper project...

1 Ribbon
2 Buttons or Brads
3 Designer Papers
Here's my take on the challenge. I chose to color Mo's "Mikki's Puppies" digital image. The image was colored with Copic markers and paired with the Basic Grey Origins designer paper. It may be difficult to see my brown brads on the bottom corner of my card. Thanks for stopping by!

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #27

Peggy continues as the hostess this week for Mo's Digital Challenge. She came up with this fun sketch for us to follow this week:
This is my take on this week's sketch challenge. I couldn't wait to color Mo's "You're Kinda Cute" image. I decided this was the perfect challenge for him. It makes me smile every time I see this little guy!
The image was colored with Copic markers then cut out with Nestibilities circle and scalloped circle. The designer papers are from the Basic Grey June Bug paper pad. Stampin' Up! Night of Navy cardstock was used as the card base and scallop layer. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

PDCC25 - Splash of color

It's 'Colour Splash' challenge time again ... inspired by the photo above.
'Colour Splash' is simply black & white with a 'little bit' of colour.
And this week's colour is
orange

I used the Split Negative technique with this card and a butterfly image from Stampin' Up "Wonderful Wings". I combined it with designer papers from Basic Grey's Ambrosia paper pack. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #26

Peggy's our hostess again this week and she's put together a color challenge: Black, white, kraft, and any other colors. I have so many fishmen and women in my family (including me!) that I just had to have Mo's Fishing image. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I used Stampin' Up Watercolor crayons and blender pen for the water. I masked off the digi image then sponged Stampin' Up! So Saffron, Only Orange and Almost Amethyst inks for the sky. I had the tackle on my desk and found this salmon in my stash. My husband and I mostly fly fish for salmon, but I also love lake fishing when I get the chance! Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Mo's digital image "Fishing"
The Angel Company - Fishing Lures
Stampin' Up! Basic Black and Kraft Cardstock
Stampin Up! Black twine
Copic Markers, sponge, SU Watercolor crayons, SU classic inks
Alaska Scrapbooker's Grab Bag - Canyon Designs Anchorage, Alaska

PDCC24 and Isabella #2 Challenges

I combined this week's color challenge over on the Play Date Cafe Blog with Isabella's digital challenge blog. Sorry my lighting is not very good and the colors look washed out! I can't wait for summer and 20 hours of daylight to photograph!! The Isabella challenge this week required the following:
1. Must use a digi stamp from Isabella's Sketchbook
2. Must be a floral/garden theme
3. There must be a round element somewhere on the card

Isabella is giving away this adorable floral digi to her members over on her Paper Craft Planet Sketchbook Group. She's celebrating 100 members! I used my blender pen and "squished" my Stampin' Up! Classic ink pad lids to watercolor the flowers with Perfect Plum and Pale Plum. Stickles and pearls have been added for a little bling! TFL!

Supplies:
Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum Cardstock, Retired Enchante Designer Paper
Nestibilities die cut
Marvy circle punch, organdy ribbon, Stickles, K&Company pearls

Nina's Blog Anniversary Challenge

Happy Blog Anniversary! Nina Brackett posted an Anniversary challenge with a CAS sketch:

I thought this would be the perfect sketch for an Anniversary card for a couple at our church. I pulled out this retro looking designer paper from my stash, added a bow and border! Easy peasy!
