Come Sit Awhile...

I just came off a 6-day in a row stint at work, and finally got some time to be creative last night and made this card for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge #85 from My Favorite Things.  I couldn't resist using the new Inspired by the Front Porch-Fall stamp set, and the Rounded Banner STAX Die-Namics I recently received... I think those Rounded Banners are going to be as well-loved as my Fishtail Flags!

Since my card base is dark brown cardstock, I added a piece of kraft cardstock inside with another sentiment and image from the stamp set.

The supplies I used are linked in the photos below my signature!  Just click on 'em!

Happy stamping!

Flourishes New Release Review

It's a Free for all Friday with the Flourishes team today, and we're reviewing all of the great stamp sets that were newly released last week for your viewing pleasure!  Remember, the new sets... Autumn Blossoms, Country Road, Garden Picks and With Gratitude are all available in the New Release Bundle at 10% savings, but only until midnight tonight, so don't wait too much longer!

I used Autumn Blossoms for my card today, pairing it with some "Gathering" 6x6 paper from Authentique.  And yes, I used my pretty new Silhouette Cameo and the Autumn Blossom Silhouette cut files to cut out each of those flower flourishes for the front of my card!  Being able to use these cut files is such an awesome addition to my design work... I can tell I'm going to be quickly addicted!

Be sure to visit the rest of the Sr. Design Team members today to see what they've created using more of the new release sets...

All of the supplies used on my card today are linked in the photos here below my signature... just give 'em a click!  Thanks for stopping by, and happy stamping!

And here's my "sweet" creation for you today.... it doesn't get much sweeter than HONEY, right?

I was inspired by the Retro Sketch #24 for this week, although my final design ended up a little off-kilter from the sketch.  My honey pot image comes from Flourishes' Bee My Honey stamp set, and I embellished with some lace and two-tone textured ribbon from the Flourishes online store.  I used Spellbinders Circle and Lacy Circles dies, and the papers I used are Glitz "Cashmere Dame."  My image is stamped on Flourishes Classic White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copics from the Beehive and Rich Brown collections.

Good luck with the challenges today, and happy stamping!
