Easter Fun

Clay, Ansley and I went up to Tooele to my parents house for Easter. We had such a great time playing, eating and visiting. Spencer sadly wasn't able to come because of his surgery he had on the Monday before. We missed him.

Here are a few pics of Clay hunting for eggs and everyone rolling decorated boiled eggs down a hill.

Look at that dirty face.

The gang all rolling the eggs at the same time.

The kids and Grandpa heading up the steep hill. The little ones need some assistance climbing up to the top.

Clay was in heaven. On top of a dirt rocky hill, getting dirty and throwing eggs down it.

It has been a tradition since I can remember to roll eggs down a hill to see who's eggs will go the furthest. Of course the eggs fall apart but it still counts if the yolk keeps in tact. It truly is so fun, not only for the kids for adults too. Definitely a tradition I will keep with my kiddos.

Here is a video of Clay's first time rolling a egg.

Such is Life

It seems like the moment Ansley was born life has automatically gotten crazy. I new it would with having two kids now, but I thought it would work its way in not hit us all at once.

Spencer is finally going under the knife to get his gallbladder out after weeks of trying to find out what was the problem. They could have found it the first ER visit if they had just listened to Spencer saying "I think its my gallbladder" and having the ultrasound look at it along with the stomach. They would have seen his gallbladder full of stones and we would have been done with all the pain and appointments and testing. GRRRRR!!

Spencer also got a promotion at work, which we are so blessed to receive. Our prayers have been answer with this great opportunity. The job was actually in Oregon but than change to Utah, which is another blessing. We will still be close the his family and mine. Spencer will do great, we are really excited about it.

We have been taking Clay to get his speech evaluated, which he will need some help with. He has one more test the end of this month, which will help us know better what kind of help he'll need. I have been given this wonderful trait from my mother of worrying too much about things. Spencer has to calm me down sometimes reassuring me that this is fixable and that Clay will be just fine. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who can calm me down when I get overly worried.

As for Ansley she is growing so fast, too fast really. She is 9lb. 8oz. (23%) and 22in. (51%). She is still a little peanut, but big to me. She is smiling so much these days and loves the kisses and hugs Clay gives her every half hour or so. I don't thinkg she knows what Clay looks like yet because she can't focus on him when he is all up in her face the whole time. Its pretty cute.

Life is busy, but so great. I personally like it when I'm busy, but not too busy.

Here are a few photos of the kids.

You can kind of see her dimples. When she really smiles you can really see them.

Clay fell asleep while he was in time out. You would think he was in there for a while but I only have him in time out for 3 minutes, after 3 mintues this is what I found. Maybe that is why he was acting the way he was...hmm.
I love this photos

Clay found Spencer's goggles and thought it was so cool to wear them. He did actually wear them all day.
