~~~~~
This Christmas was so fun with lots of activities, eating and family. We went to my parents for Christmas Eve and my Dad and brother Scott arranged a hay ride. The kids loved it. We drove around the ward and sang carols to a couple of house and gave out gifts. It was a lot of fun.
Once we came back for that, we put dinner on the table. My parents have had a tradition of having a candle light dinner with soup bowls, ham, twice baked potatoes and dessert. Afterwards we have all the grandkids dress up in the parts of the nativity and they act it out while some one reads the story from the bible. Than of course we exchange presents.
Its always a fun filled night centered around our Savior.
~~~~~
Christmas morning came and I was worried that it would be over in 10 minutes. Oh No! It literally took us all day to open presents. Clay would open one and want to play with it, than it took a lot of effort to even open up the next one. We finally made it through all the presents and he loves every one of them. I basically haven't see him for 3 days because he is in his room playing.
I'm sad to see the Holiday over, but so glad to get things back to normal and slow down for a few days.
Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas

Tait Adventures

Clay and I love to baking cookie together. I won this bakers hat for best presentation at my families annual pie contest. He liked wearing it while we baked.
We went to the mall and they had a train ride that took you through the whole mall. Clay had a blast.

One of Clay's favorite snacks is apples and caramel. He gets it all over him, the counter and the chair. But he is cute while eating them.

And here I am at 30 weeks. I'm still doing well minus the tiredness at the end of the day. This little girl is a mover and a shaker. Spencer says that Clay wasn't as nearly as active as she is. She keeps me up at night and wakes me in the early morning. I sure hope this won't be a pattern when she is born. We can't wait to welcome her in our family.

Tyler, Melinda, Rylin, Jordyn and Paytin came up for a week during Thanksgiving. We enjoyed having them and spending time with them. It was Melinda and I's first time cooking a turkey by ourselves, usually Cherie does it, so we were a little nervous about it. We found a brining recipe that we decided to try and it turned out great. It was so juicy and flavorful. I would recommend brining your turkeys next year, you won't regret it. I tried to make our Thanksgiving dinner special since it was the first time with out Mike and Cherie, Spencer and Melinda's parents, they are on a mission to Fiji. So I tried to make the dinner table elegant and made the meal a big deal. I was happy with the out come. Of course Thanksgiving day wouldn't be fulfilled with out our traditional gingerbread making with the kids. The frosting that came in the box was horrible and didn't dry for the walls to stick together. The kids had fun though.
We made a trip to the dinosaur museum and had a lot of fun there. Poor Spencer wasn't able to get work off for the first 3 days they were here, so he missed out on some fun activities. With all the shopping, cooking, visiting and eating, it was a great Holiday.
