Hotel Tait

I love having guess over. I never would have thought I would enjoy being the hostess and making company feel comfortable. I try to make sure they have everything they need, sometimes I even do a little extra. You know, those unnecessary things, but always nice when its available.
Spencer and I have had family visit and stay with us at least 3 days or more every month since January. We have had Spencer's parents a couple of times, Melinda and the girls, Aunt Marcy and Uncle Greg and their two girls, Matt, Devon and Luke when they were in between apartments, and Tyler. We also were able to visit with Mark and Jen and their cute kids, and Alma but they had other arrangements for a place to stay. I loved having everyone with us and enjoyed their company. I know money can be tight in this economy and its nice to have a free place to stay, but we have just 1 extra bedroom. Who wants to stay in a tiny full bed when they can get a hotel and have 2 queens? Our Family Does, and I love it.
The only bad part about having people stay with us, is that they have to leave at some point. My house is so quiet when they leave and it takes about 2-3 days to get used to it again.
I love Spencer's family, I can't get enough of them. Who can really say that about their In-Laws? I love seeing them and I hate leaving them. I love you guys, I hope you know that. So, all of you who are coming to Utah are welcomed at Hotel Tait anytime, we will always have vacancy.
Of course I can't leave it at that, I have to say something about my own family. We were out in Tooele on Mother's Day and I thought how much I love my own family. Of course, we have our weird quarks, but that makes us...us. A lot of the time we sit around and talk, tell stories and laugh at each other. Well I should say that my brothers, mom, dad and myself laugh(you know... the Webb laugh at the Webb's jokes) and the wives and Spencer just smile probably thinking that it wasn't as funny as we think it was. I do have so much fun with my family though and I couldn't have asked for a better one. All my brothers married wonderful girls and I enjoy being with them. We will see if Brett follows his brothers. ;)
Anyways I know this was a long post, but I had to express my feelings about my family. Where would I be with out them?

An Update

Today Clay and I had our first swimming class. There were about 8 other moms and dads there. From the moment I walked into the pool room Clay was trying to jump out of my arms into the pool. Once we got in the water Clay started to splash with his hands and legs. All the other kids were not so sure about it and a couple were crying. I was so proud of Clay. He did all the activities with a smile on his face and a couple of excited yelps came out of his mouth. He even learned how to blow bubbles in the water. He did so well and I can't wait for the next class. This is a picture of Clay eating Spaghetti.
He loved throwing it and rubbing it all over his face.
I love this picture of Spencer and Clay

I put Clay down for his nap just in his diaper. When I went to go get him, this is what I found.
I guess I can't leave him in his diaper while he takes a nap anymore. (his hands were position perfectly while I was taking the picture, we want to keep this G rated)
Clay figured out how to take the dust thing off the vacuum. He is playing in the dirt and throwing it up in the air.

Cousin Pictures

We had pictures taken of all the cousins, 9 of them ranging from 7 months to 6 years old. Jenifer Williams took them and she did a great job. We had so much fun taking them and for the most part all the the kids were great. There's no single pictures of Clay because she just did them in March.
