In an attempt to get caught up with our blog I decided to do a highlight post. Life hasn't seemed to stop since school started. I wanted to post some fun things we did in September. Warning! Photo overload. :)
One of our favorite activities we do with the boys is to go hiking. We hiked five different canyons this summer. The boys love to explore and find all kinds of treasures along the way. This weekend in September we took our sweetheart T.T., my sister Sheri, on the adventure up to Sundance. We rode ski tram up to the top then hiked to Stewart Falls from there. We made a day of it and enjoyed lunch half way there. It was so beautiful!
Traeson was such a little trooper. He even enjoyed his afternoon nap in his carrier. What a little cutie!
Stewart Falls
Daddy with Traeson...Aaron and Sheri decided to cool off by standing under the falls. Crazy!
Enjoying lunch!
Aaron and I went on a great date night with our wonderful friends Abbey and Wayne Marshall. We spent the evening up at Park City. Aaron and I love Park City. The four of us went on an extreme zip line ride at Olympic Park. None of us had ever gone…it was a blast!! We always have so much fun with the Marshall family. They are amazing friends. Thanks guys! Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Another weekend in September my mom, sheri and I took the boys to Lagoon. Not my favorite place in the world but Trevin and Thayden LOVED it! I really can't say what their favorite part was...probably Rattlesnake Rapids for Thayden and the merry-g0-round for Trevin. They couldn't get enough. We stayed until 9:30 much later then I thought we would. Luckily I have the best little baby that just went with the flow of things. Him and grandma Suzie were little pals all day. It was a fun day!! Thanks grandma Suzie and Aunt T.T.!

The sweetest highlight of September for Thayden was Grandparent's Day at school. He invited Big Grandma, Grandma Suzie, and Grandma Karen for the event. The first graders put on a program for their special guests, had cookies and milk, and then got to show them their classes. My heart melted at how proud Thayden was to have his grandparents there. He couldn't stop smiling and waving. It was especially sweet to have my grandma come, Thayden's great-grandma. He took her hand and led her to his class. It was a special day that I know the ladies in Thayden's life will remember always!
Thayden with his sweethearts! You can't see the words but in his picture he wrote, "I love my grandparents because they take me fishing." Fishing is a hobby my mom, grandpa fish, and big grandma love to do with my boys!
Showing off his talents!
Soccer was a huge part of our lives during September. Twice a week we would go watch Thayden play. This is his second season playing and he just loves it. He loves the constant action it brings! Always on the move...just like him.
Showing his silly personality and muscles. Thayden's favorite position to play...goalie!
I love this picture! Trevin showing his love for Thayden and gave him a back scratch.
Thayden in action!
My boys have a wonderful relationship with their Big Grandma and Grandpa Fish. Trevin always wants to call them and tell Big Grandma about his day. Thayden loves to hear Grandpa Fish's fishing stories. I am so thankful that they are such a big part of my children's life. Every minute we are with them I just cherish. I can't think of better example for my boys then their grandparents!
