BIG fun at the State Fair!

It has become Stacy family tradition to meet up at the California State Fair and enjoy the big crazy fun together! This year we were lucky to not have the hundred degree weather which was so nice. We also were able to go during the week on Kids get in FREE day and all the rides were only $1!! The kids totally scored! Auntie Sheila and her cute kiddos came and we were so excited that Grandma and Grandpa were able to get off work and meet us. An even bigger surprise was that Uncle Jeremy came too and met us for some of the fun! It was Uncle Jeremy's birthday too! For some reason I am so lame and didn't get a single pic of Jeremy. The kids were so excited that he came! We ended the day celebrating with Jeremy and the whole family at Round Table Pizza and then off to the mall we went to pierce our baby girls' ears! (see post below after this one)
The pics I got are only a few of the FUN things at the fair! It's so hard to get pics of it all!

Looking at the Kangaroos.

Touching a very big snake. Very cool.
SNOW CONES! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Madelyn and Jordan were loving all the little rides.
Our little trooper! Such a good baby!

5 months old!

Our sweet Lillian is 5 months old today! Crazy how time flies! She just gets cuter by the day and we have so much fun getting to know her sweet little personality as she grows and changes every day. Here are a few things about Lilly at 5 months old for my own record keeping:

-sleeping through the night for a good long 10-12 hours
-loves her bottles and eats around 4-5, 8 oz bottles a day. It is definitely time to start the rice cereal as she has sometimes acted as if she is still hungry after downing an 8 oz bottle haha!
- we have tried rice cereal 2 times and she wasn't so sure of it but still tolerated it. we will keep trying :)
- rolls over from back to tummy but not so sure how to get back. she does like tummy time a lot more now and wiggles and scoots around quite a bit in her bed
- sleeps on her tummy and side now that she can roll over.
-LOVES her pacifier (thank goodness!) she does occasionally wake up in the night wanting it but goes right back sleep once I give it to her.
-loves to grab her toes and sometimes is caught sucking on her big toe!
- she is starting to coo and make more sounds, but is generally pretty quiet because there is always some kind of noise going on at our house :)
-she is pretty easy going mostly because she has to be...she goes with the flow and is great about it. That's child #4 for ya! It's funny how with my first baby I would make sure to be home for his naps and with baby #4 I am interrupting her naps to go places with the big kids!
-she loves her big brother and sisters...she just lights up and smiles when they talk to her and pay attention to her.
-she does get startled by loud noises sometimes and doesn't like it to be loud when she is eating.
- she will smile at anyone that will smile at her :) although her smiles are hard to catch on camera. I was lucky enough to get a couple today though!!
-she is just plain SWEET and our family would not be complete without her!!
We LOVE our sweet Lilly!!

It is tradition in the Stacy family to pierce our baby girl's ears at the California State Fair with this really awesome guy that has been there for years. Sheila and I were so excited to get Lilly's and Hailey's ears pierced together and we couldn't wait for the State Fair. So yesterday we went to the fair BUT unfortunately, this year, the "ear-piercing guy" was nowhere to be found! We were so bummed but we were not going to go home without our baby girls' ears pierced. After dinner we made a stop at the mall and tortured our sweet baby girls! They both actually did great and only cried for less than a minute! Here is Lilly before...

And AFTER...see! she hardly looks like anything phased her!
So Pretty!
And then seriously 5 minutes later she passed out! She was so exhausted from our busy day at the fair and then the ear piercing trauma! That's Hailey trying to get her cousin Lilly...she has cute earrings too :)

A few more recent pics of our sweet Lilly :)

Showing off our new swimsuit!
Zach and Kali actually took these shots. haha! Not too bad huh!?!

Kali just can't get enough of Lilly and she is always asking to hold her. She is a great big sister and loves to take care of Lilly when I let her ;)
Lovin' those toes!

Happy 4th of July!

Every year we spend the 4th with all of the Stacy family and this year was a such a BLAST! Mom and Dad Stacy got a house for all of us in South Lake Tahoe where we stayed for 3 nights and it was awesome! A HUGE THANKS to Mom and Dad Stacy for the house! Seriously, it was so much fun! It was so great to see Brittany, Jeff and Paislee who drove out from Utah and so fun to have ALL the cousins there together! The kids had a blast and we definitely kept busy for the 3-4 days we were there! It was so great to be all together in the same house! We were either eating (which we did a lot of), hot tubbing, going for LONG walks, bike riding, running the trails behind the house, playing the Wii (especially Just Dance 2), just chilling, shooting pool, eating some more, going for more walks and bike rides, eating yummy ice cream that seemed to be endlessly coming from the freezer (thanks Gma and Gpa!), kayaking and playing in the sand on Pope Beach, seeing the BEST fireworks show and seriously just enjoying the amazingly beautiful Lake Tahoe!! Who could ask for more?!! It was so great! And it made me realize how grateful I am to live in such an amazingly beautiful part of our country with such an awesome family!! I am truly blessed!!

The men "chill-axin"

Madelyn loved playing with sweet Paislee.

The make-shift "carrier" that Mark put together since we forgot our Bjorn. haha! Lilly didn't seem to mind :)

Doing fun crafts that Auntie Sheila brought! She's the best!
Just being cute.

Going for a walk, a very LONG walk.

Grandma took off on Zach's bike because he didn't want to ride it anymore. haha!

Lilly getting some Uncle Jeremy time :)

Frosting sugar cookies with Grandma. Seriously, this is Kali and Madelyn's favorite thing to do with Grandma!
We love Uncle Jeremy!
The Life of the Party! We love you Grandma and Grandpa!
Just Dance Wii!! So fun!

Fun at Pope Beach! We spent most of the day on the 4th here! We headed home for BBQ for dinner and then some went back to another beach later that night for the fireworks.

Cutie pies Hailey and Paislee. I LOVE how dirty Paislee is! haha!!

Our last day before heading home we took the kids on a fun bike ride. This was Lilly's first time to sit in the trailer with Madelyn and she seemed to really like it. It was so cute!

We then drove over to Fallen Leaf Lake to see the amazing waterfalls, wear the kids out a little more and snap a few more pics with the cousins!

Cousins!
Finally, we headed over to Mcd's to grab some lunch and wear the kids out some more before the long drive back home. They even scored another ice cream from grandma! I think that was like their third one for the day! Haha!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for EVERYTHING!! We love you so much!!!
