Fall 2011 - Sneak Peak. The best is yet to come!

Last minute trip to Utah

In the middle of our trip I found out that our friends were moving to Utah. It all happened while I was already there so I feel so blessed that I got to say goodbye to them while I was there. They have the cutest family! The little blonde one is theirs. They also have twins, a boy and girl that are the cutest! Too bad they were sleeping by the time we pulled out the camera:(

I Love you guys and miss you tons!

I went to Utah for a Family reunion on my Dads side of the family. I wasn't going to go until I got a call from my cousin Dawnya 5 days before hand seeing if I was going or not. After hearing her voice I couldn't say no. So I figured out the details and a couple days later I was on the road, just me and the four girls. We had SOOOO much FUN!!! Here is the trip in reverse order.

We ended the trip staying at my brother Dereks house. We had a blast. He took us to a family fun center and we got to do everything! Lazer tag, bumper boats, race cars, putt putt, bowling, eating, games, batting cages...that about killed our hands. The older girls got to go shopping at the mall with there cousins with out mom! That scared me a bit. But they are good shoppers and found amazing deals! I'm not ever good and remembering to take pictures so here's th few shots I got. I wish the cousins would have been in them:(

Temple square was beautiful. I don't even know how many brides we saw, which my girls loved seeing! I swear you would've thought the brides were celebraties by the way my girls reacted to them.

Here is Dawnya, one of the main reasons I made this trip. This girl is the best! She cracks me up and at the same time has such a strong testimony. I love her!!! I wish I could see her more often.

Kylie was more excited about seeing the Statue of Christ then anything else on our trip. She insisted on wearing a dress so she could take a picture in front of it. She remembers it from our last trip here when she was 8 and loves visiting temple square. I wish we would have had more then 2 hours there!

Here are some of my cousins and there kids...

My cousin played with my hair...different but fun! We spent a day at 7 peaks with my cousin and her family and another friend of mine Michelle, who lives right next door to the park. So, so fun!

The trip started at my Dads house. We stayed there a couple days and had fun at the reunion at Bear Lake. The trip lasted 10 days. It was soooo awesome. My girls were incredibly good on such a long ride together in the car.

Some of the Happenings

Kami ran into the bleachers at her cousins soccer practice. OUCH! I'm still not quite sure why she didn't see them coming but oh well. She looked like this for a good two weeks.

(kinda like those guys from star trek) I was afraid the bump would never go down!

Happy 37th Birthday Chris! The girls made him a Birthday cake. This is the only picture I got...

Happy 4th of July! Yeah for us! Chris ran a 5k and I ran a half marathon that morning. We had to be up by 4am! Good thing though. We missed the heat. For the most part we had a good time. My I.T. bands gave way on both knees at mile 5 so it was a very painful run, but I FINISHED! And it was so great to have Chris be there at the finish line. He enjoyed his race two and wants to do it again! Now I just have to convince myself:)

Kylie Graduated from Elementary School and is moving on to 7th grade! I can't believe she's that old! She's an amazing young woman and I feel so blessed to be her mom!!

Kensley had a bloody nose. She said, "I'll fix it!" And when she came back, this is how she fixed it. Two bandaids right under the nostrils! This kid cracks me up:)

This was our leadership training/hike with the 5th and 6th year girls from camp. I LOVE THESE GIRLS!!

This woman is AMAZING! We got to throw her a surprise birthday party last May. I can't believe we pulled it off. She was so surprised! It was so fun!! Love you Bonnie:)

Our Own LDS Commercial

I realize that this might be a little TMI but it's too funny not to share.
The other day my Husband and I were taking shower. (sorry, I have to leave that part in there because that's what makes this so funny.) Chris has always massaged my feet, practically every day of our marriage and that is not an exaggeration. We were sitting in the shower with our heads leaned up against the wall (it has little bench seats) and I said, "I hope I die before you do." Chris replied, "If I die first, you'll find somebody." To which I responded, "I don't want to find someone else. No one could ever massage my feet the way you do." Chris said, "I don't want find anyone else either." There was a little pause and then he said "From the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." I just busted up laughing cause all I could envision were cameras at every angle shooting video of us in our shower.

I love the conversations I have with my girls!

This is a picture of the first time Kensley met GG Phair. It was right after Grandma had broken her hip
My Grandma passed away recently and Kensely and I were driving around trying to get things done. She started talking about Great Grandma Phair (whom she only met a couple of times). She was talking about how she died and we went to her funeral and said, "I want to see her again. When can we go see her?" To which I told her about heaven and how when we die we will get to see her and Great Grandpa, but not until we die. We finished our errands and pulled into our driveway and she said, "Hey! I thought we were gonna go see Great Grandma Phair!"
"Kensley, we have to die first and then we'll see her." ...

"Well...can we go die so we can visit her?"
I love this girl!
Kami LOVES school! AND she has a great sense of humor! We have been working on her spelling words every week to help her get 100% on her tests. She loves practicing the words and coming home and telling me she got them all right. A couple of weeks ago, I picked her up from school. She got in the van very grumpily and said that she had really bad news. I asked what was wrong and she said that she would tell me at home. We get home and she plops herself down at the kitchen counter, pulls out this crumpled up piece of paper and throws it at me stating that she got all her spelling words wrong. (She looked like she was going to cry) I opened the crumpled up piece of paper and it said 8/8. She got them alright. I looked at her and she was laughing SO HARD! She said, "HAHA I TRICKED YOU!" What a funny girl. I LOVE HER!

13 Years and counting to eternity

Yesterday we celebrated 13 years of marriage! This was the dinner I surprised Chris with on Sunday. Cheese fondue, pot roast and red potatoes and caramel fondue for dessert. I had arranged the girls to spend the night somewhere else so we had the house to ourselves! I made a big breakfast the next morning while he slept soundly. We went to the movies (we rarely ever go together) and I loved every minute of that time with him! We reminisced our 13 years of marriage and 6 years of friendship/dating before that. I am one lucky girl. He treats me so well and I love him more today then yesterday! We use to love to ride this motorcycle back when we were dating
This was the first time he kissed me! We were at the beach on New Years day

This was our first date. I just turned 16 and he was leaving on his mission in two weeks! There were 6 of us. That day deserves a blog post all on its own.

I LOVE YOU GRANDMA PHAIR

The week before Christmas, my Grandma Phair past away. She was 94 and died of old age. I love this lady. She was an awesome Grandma. I was able to go down to Medford the day she died and help dress her. I had never done that before. I am so thankful for that experience. I'm grateful for that last opportunity I got to serve my Grandma. Then Saturday we drove down to Klamath Falls where we laid her to rest next to the love of her life, Grandpa. My Mom and Me
My Mom and two of her brothers, Bob and Ron.
