Happy New Year?!

I can't believe it going to be 2009. I haven't written in a long time. The holiday season gets so busy. We have enjoyed it with all our family though. It was Brielle's first Thanksgiving with lots of the traditional foods (for her) milk! She didn't even care about the wrapping paper or boxes at Christmas. Kelly and Megan enjoyed Christmas, where I spoiled them too much. It was tons of fun. We've enjoyed Seth having extra time off work. We might all go through withdrawals when he goes back to work Monday, but he has time off for the New Year.

I asked Seth to make lunch for the girls and he made Brielle Soup!

The girls looked so cute in
their Christmas dresses!!!

They got to tell Santa what they wanted at a Christmas party. Kelly wouldn't look at him but talked with him. Megan wanted nothing to do with him so a friend Lindsey sat on Santa's lap and talked to Santa for her. Thanks Lindsey:)

Hatch Family Halloween!

Here is our newest family picture. This year we all were the Wizard of Oz. Seth is the Tin Man, I am the Scarecrow, Kelly is Glinda the good witch, Megan is Dorothy, and Brielle is the Cowardly Lion. It was a ton of work, but so much fun. Good thing we only do it once a year. Seth won the most creative costume for his work party and the girls had fun trick or treating. I don't think we ever have to buy candy again. It was tons of fun!
Oh and Seth got a calling at church. He is the 1st counselor in the young mens presidency. He is having fun with the boys for a change instead of his family of girls! And what is up with the radio stations playing Christmas music on Nov. 1! Don't get me wrong, I am one of those who absolutely loves Christmas music, but Thanksgiving is a better time to start, or at least mid Nov. Who knows, maybe it makes us all a little happier!

Where did October Go?

I can't believe that October is almost gone already. I guess that's what happens when you are busy. I started the month of reading the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. All I can say to that is WOW! I started Twilight and couldn't put it down. I had to so we could get ready for Brielle's baby blessing. As soon as that was done I read non-stop. I finished New Moon in 2 days and Eclipse in 1 and then finished with Breaking Dawn in 4. I am now reading them again to enjoy them until the movie Twilight comes out Nov. 21!

Here is our family picture we took the day of Brielle's blessing.

I had so much work to do around the house to get ready for it and I would not have survived except for my most wonderful sister-in-law, Kiana, and her brilliant talents came to the rescue! It was a great day for all our families to be together to celebrate.

This is the girls at Kiana's annual Halloween party.

This is everyone at the party. Megan, Gabbi (Kelly's best friend & Patrick's cousin), Kelly, Spencer and Brielle. They had a ton of fun! Kiana did a great job! Now we are busy getting ready for Halloween. I have all the costumes done except Seth's, which is a lot of work. But pictures to come on that. Happy Halloween!
